We have to pay extra to check in this have to be free
The worst experience I could have. They are not efficient
My flight was delayed about one hour
Worse than other budget airlines
Half of the computers to print bags labels weren't working Not enough people to check bags I missed my flight
Seats don't recline. Took my water away at the gate, the one I got AFTER the security check. Said "no liquids", while others were carrying duty free without problems. Made me buy water on the plane for $3.
Was on time, boarding was good
Everything was good except the seat that it doesn't recline and wasn't uncomfortable to seat straight all flight it should at least recline a little bit.
Tuvimos una hora de retraso en la salida de Madrid
Avianca could very well be the worst airline. $100 for a carry-on? Give me a break! Service is non existent. Really look somewhere else.
Everything was fine
Cons: Kayak customer service was horrible ,I attempted to change flight time Kayak was not existent wait time were over an hours . Once you book a flight with Kayak your are on your own .
Pros: I made the mistake booking a seat at a row in front of the wing exists and it did not recline but no one else in my row so I laid across the seats at midnight.
Cons: I got stuck in check in line the day before at 0600 90 min before my flight with 4 others. I had to re-book and came in 3 hours early to get in okay sitting 60 minutes at the gate. If they had had announced to move us forward all would have boarded on time.
Pros: The service was excellent. There a lady her name was Iveth she is amazing in her job...
Cons: They need to work the food and entertainment
Pros: The easy way of checking in .
Cons: Better food
Pros: nothing
Cons: information... ANY information!

Cons: Wifii should be free. Tockets are not cheap and therefore included. Improvement of food is also necessary
Pros: Hot meal was great Comfortable seats

Pros: Crew was great Food was good
Cons: Plane was older and a little worn

Cons: Nothing
Pros: La atencion que tienen muy buena y muy profesional
Cons: Tal vez mejorar un poco la comida o snack, independiente que el vuelo fue corto
Pros: crew with outstanding customer service
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Change the whole system be more kind and human Don’t bleed the poor people who work hard to visit their families, your fares are too high for the service you offer.
Cons: There could have been more movie options for the personal entertainment system in business class.
Pros: not much
Cons: same reasons as before
Pros: Crew was great. Wine was also good
Cons: Food could have been much better.

Avianca El Salvador is a dependable airline operating in Latin America, with a primary hub in San Salvador. The carrier runs services to more than 10 countries throughout South America, the Caribbean and North America with a focus on Honduras, Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador. Connections to the United States have also been developed, with routes available to both the west and east coast.
Belonging to Avianca Holdings, the carrier is associated with a number of branded subsidiaries across Latin America countries, such as Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru and Nicaragua. The grouped partnership of airlines allows each to increase operation flexibility and share facilities within the region. Benefits are passed down to customers and include connected services and smooth transfers.
Joining the Star Alliance in 2012, Avianca El Salvador made a decisive move to offer a more global product. The alignment with members that include United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada and Air China provides a wider reaching network and allows passengers to purchase round-the-world tickets. The association also means that Business Class customers are able to access Star Alliance lounges in more locations. A separate codeshare agreement is maintained with major Spanish carrier Iberia.
Exclusively Airbus aircraft make up the fleet. There is a preference for medium-distance jets with slim bodies, as Avianca El Salvador focuses on trips that are less than 5h. Models within the A320 family are regularly flown, carrying roughly 150 passengers. Both Economy and Business Class are available, with the upgraded section containing only 12 seats and offering more privacy. Noise-cancelling headphones are also supplied.
