A lovely hotel with a beautiful view. Very spacious and directly on the lake. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
the view of the lake
there were lots of bugs in the area because of the lake (not only at the hotel but rather in all Sirmione) . the room was small for a couple with a baby & the baby cot was rather old
Room and bathroom small but comfortable. Breakfast reasonable
The Europa appeared to be one of the few Hotels that we saw that had private lake frontage and if you have a room fronting the lake, the view is very good. The lady who helped with the breakfast arrangements spoke excellent English and was very very helpful
There was no lift and we had to lug our cases up to the 2nd floor.
The hotel is in an excellent location right at the lakeside with views across the lake from both the bar terrace and breakfast terrace. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and only 35 min walk right out to the castle at Sirmione.
The big negative for this hotel is the antiquated air conditioning system. When we complained our room wasn't cooling down properly we were told that all the rooms would only cool to 24C, and not go any lower. This makes for extemely uncomfortable sleeping conditions if you're not used to it, as the humidity wasn't being reduced much either. We wouldn't choose a hotel without air conditioning in August, so this was very disappointing to end up effectively without it.
It is nicely situated at the side of the lake and has well looked after gardens in which to relax
Good mattress and shower. Friendly and helpful staff.
Tha beautiful design, location near by the beach. good breakfast and nice staff.
Staff doesn't speaks English
Owner and personnel are very kind. Breakfast was fantastic. Beds were nice and firm. Great view over the Garda Lake. NB: We had a relative simple room with an aged interior (design, not aged as in worn out), no bath, only shower (we didn't request a bath so this could be the reason why). No complaints, just do not expect a modern and freshly styled room.
