Pros (+) It was cheap, clean, and close to the financial district.
Cons (-) A little dated. The bed was incredibly hard.
Pros (+) The room was great, very confortable with a changing room. The location is very nice, though is over a hill top so when you come back from Union Square you have to walk upwards, but this is San Francisco!!

Cons (-) Room was not fully clean. There were pieces of plaster on the carpet. The bed angled up the wrong way - the foot of the bed was higher than the head of the bed, for some reason. Pros (+) Great location and very good value. Continental breakfast in the morning and friendly staff.
Cons (-) The two beds in our room were full size beds (a little short for me) and a bit worn. No air conditioning but the large windows were great.
