Cosy environment, interesting design, beautiful furniture and paintings. The staff were courteous and proficient in their jobs. The hotel was a bit too far from the city center.
It's hardly a 4* my room was clearly a 1960s council flat. Which I assume is what the building once was. The decor was cold and a bit weird. Kitchenette had NOTHING just a cold metal work top and a sink. A coffee maker but no coffee and not even a microwave. I didn't want a kitchenette but if there is one in my room I expect something! Location is not nice nor is the view Far too expensive and not a 4*. I rarely complain about a hotel because you get what you pay for. However I suggest either spending another £20 or going for a lovely 3* somewhere else. It's not a nightmare hotel so if you have booked it's not going to be horrible, just if you have a choice ... Go elsewhere
