Cons: Nothing to criticise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was kind and the service was spectacular
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there full family in quiet, almost deserted low-season (mid-Feb.). It's a great escape before travelling to less luxurious places in Jordan, such as Wadi Rum or Petra. Spacious external pools area, rooms with nice balconies and external terraces. Dedicated, international service, with splendid people organizing sports games at beach. Not too far from Akaba, but recommending to have car. A great offer for relatively low price (low season!) compared to variety of amenities offered.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An absolute treasure - from the very first second, we felt exceptionally well treated. Extremely attentive and friendly staff (in both Mövenpick-resorts), beautiful architecture, calm atmosphere.
Cons: Since the hotel is a bit off the beaten track (and taxis in Aqaba can be a rip-off), it would be best to communicate the transfer options more clearly. There is a shuttle bus between the two Mövenpick-Hotels, one of which is in Aqaba city center. Sadly, we couldn't find out in advance where the bus departs.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa at Movenpick Tala Bay is exceptional - great range of services and incredibly friendly and accommodating staff! Great breakfast. Also - the shuttle between Movenpick in Tala Bay and Movenpick in Aqaba City was very useful.
Cons: I wish they provided bathrobes in the rooms - but everything else was great. Unfortunately, the weather was bad when I was there - so I could not take advantage of the diving center. But all else was amazing.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and breakfast buffet
Cons: The beach and pool are constantly innundated w super loud dj'd clubbing music - not good and not relaxing. We asked them to stop/lower but apparently the 'beach customers' have requested entertainment. We sat on the far end of the beach near the kempimski and the music mostly faded away...
7.0 Good
Pros: The beach is spacious The rooms are comfortable
Cons: Buildings not well maintained Poor landscaping Lots of fasciitis out of work
7.0 Good
Pros: All services and facilities as they should be for a high level hotel costing well above the average for the location. Breakfast, pool and staff all excellent
Cons: I would expect to pay a premium for a drink in the lounge of this type of hotel, but the prices were astronomical. Could only afford to visit the lounge once. Buffet style dinner was OK, but not good enough for the high price.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice beach with good beach beds and sun shelters, beds in room comfortable, room and balcony spacy, breakfast very good, fresh fruit juices.
Cons: Beach should be cleaned now and then (some rubbish on the sand, Coffee tables not wiped ).

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed during the low season and the hotel seemed all but empty, but my time was very pleasant, largely thanks to the polite and helpful staff. The chef was also very accommodating, making me things that weren't on the buffet, and housekeeping was very efficient.
Cons: The pool was being renovated during my stay and the work was noisy. However, I was properly advised about this before my vacation started. Unfortunately, if you think you will have a quiet time on the hotel's clean beach, think again: water taxis for tourists cross the bay, blaring obnoxiously loud music as they go. It's a great shame that the peacefulness of this location is destroyed by this practice.
7.1 Good
Pros: 1. On the Beach 2. Beach Front View from the room. 3. Good Breakfast Buffet included with room 4. WiFi worked well. 5. Courteous Staff.
Cons: 1. Stayed there during Eid and the hotel was empty, yet the room rate remained at $ 218 per night plus 10% Service Charge plus 7% City Tax. 2. Check-In, Baggage X-Ray people are buffoons. Thought I had some telescope or telephoto lens in my bag. Acted like I wanted to photograph a Nuclear Sub Base that doesn't exist. I did not even have a camera with me. 3. No electrical outlets near the bed. 4. Limited number of chairs near the pool and beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: rooms were spacious, clean, with a great view. hotel beach was nice and well maintained. staff very helpful and friendly.
Cons: wifi was a little weak at times, and the gym didn't have too much equipment, but that's about it.

Pros: Exceptional hotel, staff, food and facilities. First class in every espect you need in a vacation.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great. We had a great view of the red sea. Breakfast and in room dining were very good as well as the beach facilities. The layout and design of the hotel is very good.
Cons: I had no idea the swimming pool was not working contrary to what the person behind the desk told me. I had received no word from booking or Kempinski themselves and I was very disappointed

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spotless clean room, comfy bed, all listed facilities, quick & polite non-local staff, very tasty their breakfast 7JD (not many options around in the morning). We don't mind about no view for cheapest room, we were out all day. In the middle of everything, next to best dinner restaurants, for evening city walk & next day diving arrangement at Camel Divers (best value in AQB).
Cons: Breakfast could improve: too creamy hummus and other local cream dishes, please don't add water. Missing local pita read. Hard to find a parking spot in the evening, but we managed on nearby street. Missing a chair for room desk! Maybe too expensive.

The room is renovated, clean, bright and comfortable (the bathroom was very clean, the beds are comfy and in good condition). The staff was very polite and helpful. I can't thanks enough to Noor, a Reservation Executive from Golden Tulip hotel, who helped me to organize a trip to Petra and Wadi Rum before we came there (she organized a driver service and Jeep safari in Wadi Rum for us). The hotel staff organizes a shuttle bus to Berenice beach, which I highly recommend that you visit during your stay there. Unfortunately, because of weather we didn't visit an Ayla B12 beach, but for the next time, we will for sure. I would also like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Alaa, General Manager of the hotel, for the great hospitality and recommendation of the local places which we need to visit during our holiday. We will return to Aqaba and Jordan hopefully soon, since they made a strong positive impression on us, thanks to the great persons we've met there. For every recommendation and see you soon my friends! :) Greetings from Natasa, Nevena and Tanja

Cons: The swimming pool was cold ! But normal in February! There were no cleaning in the room for 5 nights, not changing towels...and we needed to ask for toilet papers. Cons: The room had a lot of plugs but only one was working. Full of mosquitos, we got really bad bitten during our stay. Pros: Large family room with 4 singles was fine for us. Good food options around the hotel.
Cons: While a fine location for walking around in the evening, it was REALLY hard to find. The address needs to be made more accurate so that it can be found. 'The Roundabout/Circle' is very large and no locals knew where it was. We were sent in a wild goose chase by people trying to help, when when they called the hotel for directions. It took over a hour. Please add a map to your photos and a more precise address.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful with our luggage and calling taxis for us. They brought us extra towels when asked. Clean white linens. Wonderful location with a lot to do and eat within walking distance. Wifi was fast! Best value for money!

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Abd the hotel director organised our trips to Wadi Rum, Petra and the Dead Sea with a private driver, Sameer, who was informative and very patient and accommodating. Both Abd and Sameer were very helpful with all our travel requirements whilst we were in Jordan. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The hotel is located just a short walk from the sea and the town centre/tourist office.

6.0 Good
Pros: The staff was really helpfull, especially during the check-in. The receptionist proposed great places for food & drink and the hotel is in short distance from the city-center. Good location, quiet and easy accessed.
Cons: There was too much humidity in the bathroom and on the walls. Very hard bed mattress and the breakfast had very limited options. The icing on the cake was during our check-out. The receptionist told us that the room was not paid at booking.com. We told him that it was, he checked the system and explained us that the payment had not been completed. We had to catch the bus, so we just paid with credit card and left. We checked the email from booking.com almost an hour later and called back in order to cancel the recent payment. Instead of that, the hotel cancelled our first payment. As a result. we had paid 44.27 euros from booking and finally we paid 47.85 euros (+3,50 euros) because of this incident.

Pros: Staff is amazing, very helpful, taking care of guests.Hotel is centrally located and very clean:)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional hotel, staff, food and facilities. First class in every espect you need in a vacation.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great. We had a great view of the red sea. Breakfast and in room dining were very good as well as the beach facilities. The layout and design of the hotel is very good.
Cons: I had no idea the swimming pool was not working contrary to what the person behind the desk told me. I had received no word from booking or Kempinski themselves and I was very disappointed

Pros: Double showers Very good breakfast The staff was really competent, professionnal and nice. They make everything perfect

7.0 Good
Pros: Location was excellent. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, a nice atmosphere around. Very good value in January. Staff were very friendly. Free parking on the street in front of the hotel.
Cons: Rooms were a bit dated/old. Breakfast not really suited for people from West Europe/America
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel immediately surpised us in most positive way by giving the key to room 701 on 7th floor. It was a big suite with big balcony and view to the bay. We loved it. We also loved the atmosphere and friendlyness of the staff. We booked a Jordan hotel in favor of one of the famous chains. It gives you a better idea of the place you stay and the people living there. Sure the hotel is outdated but when accepting this upfront and book such hotel for above reason you will appreciate it. The location is very good. There are many restaurants around, You can find a very good coffeeshop (V60) about 10 metres to the right when leaving from main-entrace. There are fast-food options and more authentic options to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All very close, within walking distance. When turning left (direction of Double Tree Hilton) you can find a bakery store that is open 24/7. This shop is exactly on the opposite side of the road from Double Tree Hilton. We went there a few times. Easy and cheap. The bed in our room 701 was spacious and good. We had very good sleep. We had a shower and bath. Tip: keep on the button for hot water at the side of the door and the watertemperature is more then good. They clean the room every day and give you new towels and so. No worry. We did not use TV, but noticed it had CNN and BBC world in English. Rest is Arabian TV as far as we could see. There is a fridge with some drinks and chocolate bars. The breakfast is very limited and to be honest not as a European traveller would expect. A said above; good coffee just outside the hotel to the right. The staff is willing to help you with any question. We went by foot to the public beaches. The closest beaches are private and you cannot enter without ID. One day we went to Kempinski hotel, showed passport and got access to the pools and private beach of Kempinski for free!! (take this advice!). On the public beaches in Aqaba there are also the simple glass boats touring in bay.
Cons: A lot of Aqaba is under contruction.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very central and conveniently located hotel. JTT ticket office and bus 5-10 mins walk. Friendly staff. We were upgraded to the penthouse room, which was huge and included a free minibar, Queen bed and balcony! Very comfortable. Good breakfast variety.
Cons: Just needs a little uplift otherwise great!
5.0 Okay
Cons: Very noisy Poor breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Due to an upgrade, we were given two rooms instead of the triple room we ordered. This gave us a lot of space. The staff was pleasantly reserved and friendly. Breakfast a bit exotic but plentiful. There are numerous shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness, breakfast, facilities
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A good hotel, in a good location, near from all restaurants. The staff is warm and helpful. Lately we changed from 4 persons to 5, they arranged the situation and gave us rooms for 5. Rooms are also spacious and comfortable. Good hotel to stay.
Cons: Windows are little bit old and we could hear a lot the road noises.
7.0 Good
Pros: Otel has a great location, close to many restaurants and shops. You can walk anywhere you want. Staff is helpful. Fair price.

Pros: This is a great hotel and a great value. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and well laid out, with lots of wardrobe space and a refrigerator and kettle, plus a large TV. The bathroom has good space to put out toiletries. The location is central to the city's sites and the public beach, as well as perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. Plenty of free parking is at the doorstep. There is a useful gym, and there is a pool on the roof with views over the city in all directions - a great place to idle late in the day. The breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of food choices.
Cons: The AC works very well, though it blows across the bed...not ideal for sleeping, but with some adjustments we were comfortable.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at My luxury hotel for four nights in March 2020. Everything was perfect - the room quite big and with new decoration. Good bathroom. The staff was excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect. If they start the panoramic bar at the pool and the Spa center - it will exceed the expectations for a four-star hotel.
