Pros: Jefferson staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful!
Pros: Staff was accommodating, put the flower in the room I asked for. Upgraded us to a better room after checking in, was attentive with needs for ice and deliveries
Cons: Pool wasn't open, it was easy to get lost and enter the construction areas of the hotel. We couldn't get into teatime which was frustrating
Pros: Love the charm of its period decor.
When you stay at The Jefferson Hotel, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Greater Richmond Convention Center and Virginia State Capitol. You can grab a bite to eat at one of the 2 restaurants, then indulge in massages, facials, or mani/pedis. 2 bars/lounges and an indoor pool are other highlights at this luxurious hotel, and rooms offer up nice touches like deep soaking tubs and Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: The staff was really great, the lobby is clean. The breakfast was perfect and well stocked. Really good shower pressue! I would return
Cons: The room was dark, small window for such a large room.
Pros: The hotel staff were professional, helpful and polite. The general appearance of the hotel was of a good standard being clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: I had no issues with any aspects of this hotel.
Pros: Rooms was very clean & big! Breakfast included is always a bonus. Would stay again. Checked in on a Friday evening. The man at the front desk was very helpful with ideas for dinner. I find it refreshing because some of my travels have a restaurant in the hotel & the only place they suggest is in the hotel. This hotel does not have a restaurant but breakfast was very yummy!
Cons: The book in the room had a list of restaurants you could go to. However, there was no addresses or what type of restaurant it was. I like to try local places & not go to chain restaurants that I can find everywhere.
Pros: The whole hotel was very clean, everything was pristine. Every employee was helpful and kind, making the stay welcoming and comforting. The breakfast in the morning was great with more than enough options. There isn't too much to say, in all honesty. This is a great hotel that offers a superb experience. I recommend this for all.
Pros: Staff went above and beyond to please guests! We loved the common areas. The place sparkled and it even smelled great!!
Room was very very clean, and we are quite particular about cleanliness in hotels. Beds were SO amazingly comfortable!! We stayed only one night, for daughter's sports competition, wish it could have been longer. Also, breakfast was excellent, with a variety of hot and cold items, fulfilling and they had something for everyone, and it's free!! Loved this hotel -- we will be back!!
Cons: The only tiny thing we noticed was that the pool towels weren't stocked for the amount of guests with young people staying in the hotel on this particular weekend. Wish it had a hot tub!! Not much else to complain about, which is rare for us picky folks. This is a terrific property, well maintained, beautiful grounds, clean and friendly!!

Pros: We wanted to stay in downtown Richmond but the other hotels were very expensive. The hostel was perfect with a spacious room to ourselves and a private bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was simple and very clean.
Cons: The walls were a bit thin, you could hear every conversation in the hallway and every door that closed in the hall.
HI Richmond - Hostel puts you in a great location, within a 15-minute walk of Greater Richmond Convention Center and Virginia State Capitol. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails and kayaking, and free perks include WiFi and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. Pros: Room was clean and check in was courteous and professional
Pros: Ideally located, clean, breakfast, friendly staff, and reasonably priced.
Pros: Great reception upon arriving. Quick check in. Great property, i.e., clean, conveniently located, clean room, great breakfast and just overall a great experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay and not wanting to spent more of their budget on a hotel stay than necessary. My choice on my next visit to Richmond.
Pros: Nice, clean well maintained facility. They were able to check us in early, glad this was possible - it was a very long day of flight issues.
Pool area was clean.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like - tip, balance your pool chemistry. Chlorine odor should not be that prevalent. Thanks
Pros: Clean, new, comfortable, nice staff, great breakfast.
Cons: I'm a picky traveler with high standards but I can't find anything to comment negatively on our stay.
Pros: The staff was friendly. The room was a nice size and clean.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable.. the mattress was hard, the pillows were flimsy, and the blanket was too thin. The hotel pool area and breakfast area were packed with kids so we did not use either.
Pros: The location was great for the U of Richmond graduation. The rooms were generously sized with a kitchenette. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice. Breakfast was standard but very good with very friendly staff. All over, a great 2 days.
Cons: Nothing really.

Cons: Arriving after a 9 hour drive, and planning to meet family staying at the same hotel only to find out that they had given my room to someone else--double booked. Then had the audacity to say it was because I booked through a "third partvendor" i.e. Expedia located via Kayak. Fortunately they paid for my stay at the Marriott 2 mi away , where I learned they did this to 3 other people. Next time , book the Marriott instead. Not the best way to start an important graduation weekend.

Pros: I liked the simple neatness of the room as well as the ease of checking in. There were no problems going through a third party. It's a little out of the way from downtown, but I knew that ahead of time. Soft towels and a comfortable bed.
Cons: The room was fairly clean. Could hear any noice outside in the halls, but I supose that's just a hotel.
Pros: We stayat the Richmond Westin a few times a year. Always great staff, always comfortable beds, always super clean and welcoming. Great food...love the starbucks coffee in the lobby . Just a perfect Westin!
Pros: The Westin is nice, clean and I like the location. A bit pricey for what we got. Staff was super nice.
Cons: Our room was directly under the Executive Club and noisy as hell. We were kept awake too late and awoken before 6am the next day. Ugh.
Pros: Room- clean, very comfortable, nice bathroom
Staff- professional, efficient, very nice
Amenities- free parking, free wi-fi, executive club lounge with continental breakfast and complimentary drinks/snacks throughout day
Cons: Location- area around hotel isn't bad, just a bit far from downtown Richmond

Pros: Impeccable Customer Service. From the first step out of my vehicle, and it being promptly valeted, to checking out and the Front Desk kindly offering to hold our bags or load into our cars for us. Simply remarkable. The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Reading the history of the hotel and all of the reclaimed and repurposed features was inspiring. Fabulous atmosphere, top-notch cocktails and the Maple-Pine's dinner was out of this world! The Quirk is doing it right!
Cons: We were disappointed the rooftop wasn't open yet, but, that just gives us more of a reason to return!
Quirk Hotel features a rooftop terrace and puts you within a 15-minute walk of Greater Richmond Convention Center. After getting a workout at the fitness center, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like bathrobes, designer toiletries, and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: The hotel was awesome and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: Should offer Valet parking. I would have definitely paid more for a valet rather than worry with the close parking in the parking deck

Pros: Loved the location and the style of the hotel (very modern with pops of color). The room was beautiful and had everything we could ask for. The location is the best in Richmond.
Cons: Our room was only surface clean when we arrived. There were dishes in the dishwasher that were still dirty, and the dishes in the cabinet didn't look too clean either. The floor felt like it hadn't been vacuumed since the previous residents' stay, and there was a suspicious stain on the comforter. The sheets, bathroom, and kitchen surfaces did appear to be clean.

Pros: The staff was extremely cheerful, ready to assist, and helpful. The location was very convenient. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Cons: The bed was a bit too firm.
Pros: We stayed only 1 night downtown.....but it was wonderful. Valet parking was quick and courteous. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was a wonderful bonus since there is so much to do in Richmond. The room was clean and tastefully decorated and the bar and restaurant were also wonderful , clean, and the staff courteous. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: parking is not included, valet parking rated @ $ 23 per day. For those on personal trips: Across the street, public parking is available at $8-$18 per day, depends on timing.
Pros: Enjoyed that the building was a urban refurbish. Every staff person went beyond what I expected regarding service. Our room was made available early in the day to meet our schedule. Very prompt transportation service.
Cons: Would have been nice to have a more upscale restaurant in the hotel, but the large bar area and regar dining area were great for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Pros: Easy check-in, adjustable beds, free coffee, close to the Richmond Coliseum, free shuttle
Cons: Valet took way too long--both days seemed to lack enough employees. We had to wait in a long line for 20+ minutes during both check-in and check-out.
Pros: clean and nice
Cons: the heater made way to much noise. hard to sleep.
Pros: Friendly atmosphere
Cons: The price
Pros: The location to downtown Richmond is excellent with many restaurants nearby.
Cons: Wish there was a schuttle to the airport which is only 15 minutes away.

Pros: Elegant clubby atmosphere. Well appointed room and comfy bed.
Cons: Plumbing made noise during the night.
Pros: -Great location
-Very friendly and helpful staff
-Pizza deliveries right to room door
Cons: -Menu was not as expanded as I thought it would be
-Reserved room w/ balcony. To our major disappointment, our balcony had a 5 1/2 foot wall that was not noted in advertisement - major let down.
Pros: Clean. Great location! Comfortable bed.
Cons: Broken coffee maker. No biggie, Starbucks is across the street.
Pros: Room / Hotel staff overall was clean and hospitable
Cons: I didn't like the fact that we were stuck in a room in the back facing a wall. I will probably go back to the Omni or try the Renaissance Hotel next time in Richmond. At least there you're not looking at brick walls. I parked on the street couple blocks up due to over priced valet......it simply isn't needed with the parking garages around.
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet.
Cons: Lighting in the room was not bright enough; at least one mirror should be available in the room, outside of the bathroom; headboard was not attached firmly so it banged against the wall with any movement(had to wedge a towel between it and the wall).
Pros: Quaint and location was great! Staff was fantastic! Every one of them during our stay-- from the valet to housekeeping.
Cons: The noise from the street and the bed mattress seems to be old.
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and willing to support with all our needs! Great location in downtown Richmond. Walking distance to great resturants and bars.
Pros: The hotel was nicely maintained and clean with very nice rooms. The location was great and walkable to many restaurants and shops.
Cons: I was disappointed when they confirmed my request for a small refrigerator via text message but once I got there couldn't find it in my room. I called the front text who notified me that there are no rooms with refrigerators but they could refrigerate things for me for 31$/day. NO thanks because I was also surprised by the 21$/day for parking.
Pros: Location was great. Staff was responsive to an issue we had. Beautiful lobby and restaurant. Room just the right size unlike other boutique hotels.
Cons: Parking is too expensive. Housekeeping was a little too anxious to clean the room.
Pros: The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms spacious. The beds were to die for! By far the best rest I've had in some time.
I would definitely return when in Richmond again.
Pros: Alfreda and Lilly were absolutely wonderful at the front desk!
Pros: Location is great but unfortunately I did not have time to enjoy the area.
Cons: In the AM the maid knocked on my door a little early.

Also available are a variety of options to accommodate meetings, banquets, and other events.
Pros: Everything is great.i never left the hotel and was very happy the entire time.
Cons: Only thing missing were the luxury robes. I like to sit around and pretend that i am VERY wealthy
Cons: I checked in, saw the room, laughed, and left. Reception would not return money. Fought the charge with credit card company. Stay away.
Pros: Location was very convenient to dining in Short Pump.

Pros: Nice room, great price , good location.
Staff is great.
Located in the cobblestoned Shockoe Slip district, Omni Richmond Hotel is an 8-minute stroll from Virginia State Capitol and Governor’s Mansion. It’s a 15-minute drive from the hotel to the historic landmarks of Monument Avenue, and 7 minutes to Hollywood Cemetery.
Pros: Close to many Civil War Museums. Edgar Allen Poe lived across the street. Was a frequent visitor.
Cons: Breakfast area was unattended. Trash piled up in can. However, I would stay again and recommend to others.
Cons: price, old.
Pros: Room was excellent but had no mini fridge. Only window in the room was painted shut.
Pros: Wonderful venue. Very historic. Staff was very helpful checking our luggage for the day.
Cons: No self parking
Cons: We were originally placed in a ground floor room (after requesting a room on a higher floor), which was dark and had a window into the hallway corridor. It felt as if you were in a dungeon. After our first night (of a two night stay) we discovered two bedbugs in our bed. We immediately notified the front desk which kindly agreed to change our room. Although the second room we were placed in was much nicer and on the top floor of the hotel, our stay was less than comfortable given the fact that it was difficult to sleep when imagining bedbugs crawling in bed with you. The hotel staff did not offer to compensate us in anyway for our troubles other than a gift mug. Although the hotel was booked for the weekend and we had heard good things about it, I would strongly recommended finding somewhere else to stay if visiting Richmond.
Cons: In room refrigerator made an awful noise, had to unplug
Pros: It was comfortable . the staff was super & pleasant enjoyed my stay
Cons: No place to park
Pros: Location made it easy to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants and bars. Old town feel and culturally diverse area. Felt safe with strong police presence.
Cons: Not a downside really, but no easy way to carry luggage to room. Uneven walks and paths for us that like our rolling luggage. You get what expect from a hotel built in the 1800's. Neat place. Rooms are dingy.
Pros: The carriage house rooms that are disconnected from main Inn is where I stayed and it was lovely. The room was clean, the bathroom newly remodeled, the Queen bed soft and inviting. I had to leave before the included breakfast but I liked everything I saw.
Cons: The area was near downtown but still a bit sketchy. I started walking to find a cafe or restaurant but then thought better of and turned around. The parking was valet for an extra $12 or street parking but if you parked on the street (if you found any) you would get towed if you didn't move by 7am or 8am.
Pros: Never disappoints with convenience, location, charm. Had a different room this time, garden suite, and liked it. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, no noise issues.
Cons: Lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, but otherwise great.
Cons: Price, and location specific to event I was attending. Very inflexible and relatively early check out time 11am only negative but well offset by price and location.
Pros: The decor and facilities were charming and attractive. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast options were good.
Cons: The only downside was parking, which was basically impossible to find without paying for valet parking.

Pros: Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean.
Cons: The front desk seemed a little under staffed and the staff seemed overwhelmed but they still met my needs.
Pros: Th room was very well designed as far as the layout and the bed was quite comfortable.
Cons: The location is not the greatest. There is not much to do nearby.
-Oversized guestroom featuring a Hyatt Grand Bed-42 inch Flat Panel High Def TV with Electronic Panel-Free high speed Internet Access-Cozy Corner Couch with oversized sleeper sofa-Complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet, which features breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal daily.-24-hour Grab & Go food outlet offers hot breakfast, made-to-order entrees, sandwiches, soups, and salads
Cons: I asked for a copy of my billing and was told that I had made the booking online so no copy.I was reading
the information in my room and it mentioned the possibility of having swim wear available when I asked at the desk the girl was lost or should I say clueless as to what I was talking about.
Pros: Very quiet
A lot close by
Pros: Clean and comfortable! Nothing smelled or looked dirty. The free breakfast included eggs, bacon and waffles, which was unexpectedly nice.
Cons: Wish the blackout curtains could pull shut, but only the sheer curtains went all the way across the window. We had an infant, so extra darkness would have been nice.
Pros: Guarenteed stay - no need call if you're checking in late, black out curtains, hot breakfast included until 10 a.m. with a great pastry/waffle & beverage selection.
Cons: ADA compliant bathroom door swung in crowding what would have been an otherwise large bathroom, the eggs were bland & there was no hot sauce or cheese to make them more palatable, the bacon was oddly excessively smoke flavored.
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: I could here the guest using the restroom upstairs.
Pros: Great location, clean, higher end finishings, friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast left a lot to be desired.
Pros: It was clean overall and the room was spacious. Good location.
Cons: The radiator was very loud and seemed to come on about every 20 min. My mom said the same thing about her room (before I even mentioned it). Also the wifi signal in our room was weak and often I had trouble staying connected.
Pros: I never made it there. Trip was cancelled.
Pros: Easy check in. Decent breakfast.
Cons: Absolutely worthless internet. Apparently this has been a problem for months. A crucial feature in any hotel and owners refuse to fix. We were connected to tech support who ran us through the paces which did nothing. Constant signal fluctuations and drop offs. Would never have wasted our money if we knew their was basically no usable internet service.
In addition key cards repeatedly failed. At times we had to make 3 trips back and forth to get a working key card. Front desk blamed in on cell phones.
Obv. the owners of this Wingate franchise went with the lowest bidders on all services. Shame. Always had good experiences with Wingates until this one.
Pros: The room was clean and the cleaning staff great
Cons: The Desk person was very very annoying and unprofessional
Conveniently located off Interstate 64, this Wingate by Wyndham Richmond Short Pump is near shopping at Short Pump Town Center, Richmond International Raceway, Colonial Downs, Metro Richmond Zoo, Kings Dominion, and many local restaurants. Ideal for both work and play, this smoke-free lodging offers complimentary breakfast, complimentary internet, airport shuttle, exercise room, indoor pool, hot tub, meeting and conference rooms, and 24-hour business center with complimentary print, copy and fax services. There is no charge for kids under 17 when staying with an adult.
Pros: Parking is way too expensive but guess that's how you keep room rates down. HATE paying that much for parking
Pros: Location to the convention center is excellent with the sky walk. The staff was outstanding on all fronts.
Cons: You really have to pay $15 a day for Internet? Is Marriott the last major chair stuck in the 20th century?
Pros: Staff was very courteous.
Cons: I chose the wrong time to come kids were running up & down the hall screaming.

Pros: Nice hotel and very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast variety. Although I'm not a fun of the style my wife loved the "lodge style" feeling of the hallways and rooms. Somewhat unique architectural design.
Cons: They cut of my room and building access key 15 minutes before the official noon check out, as I was transporting my luggage from the room to the car thus locking me out of the building (I was in their second building, which is not staffed at the lobby apparently). Therefore access to the building and the room is card access only. I had to call my wife and ask her to bring out the rest of the luggage since I couldn't get back in. It was either that or have to walk back to the main lobby in a different building and ask them to reactivate my card.
Also while this is not the hotels fault I'm not impressed by the fact that you pay three tolls to get from downtown Richmond to the hotel
Pros: This hotel occupies a beautiful old brick building. We appreciated the choice of a decent hotel with comfortable beds that is also pet friendly - thank you Best Western.
Staff is kind, helpful and breakfast choices good.
Cons: Found 2 live roaches in my room. Notified staff who were willing to relocate however no other rooms were available. Suggested construction workers were likely culprits for bringing bugs into room.
Pros: Clean room great breakfast
Cons: Lady checking us in was little rude other than that other staff was very nice
Pros: It was clean and functional. Wake up call came on time.
Cons: Outside entrance not locked at night, needs renovation, old noisy window AC units.
Pros: The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable!
Cons: We could easily hear people talking in the next room.
Pros: Easy and good
Cons: There are two buildings
Pros: Nice public spaces
Pros: Continental breakfast was GREAT!!!
Pros: In town for a wedding. Booked 3 rooms for extended family. Well pleased with rooms especially double queen w/sleeper. Breakfast was very good and above typical fare.
Pros: We stayed in a king suite and our room was enormous and very clean. The staff were all very kind, and no complaints about the breakfast or dining room, either. We would stay there again.
Pros: I did not stay at the motel. I paid for rooms for family members visiting for Thanksgiving.
They didn't have anything positive to say, except that the single room with two double beds that they all had to stay in was okay.
Cons: The reservation was for two rooms, three people. The motel only reserved one room. It was a late check-in and the desk clerk couldn't handle the mistake. The guests offered to all stay in the one room. However, I don't believe the motel was completely booked.
My father, one of the guests, recommended I not use the motel again. He likes cheap, so for him to say that is telling.

Pros: I liked everything. Everyone was so friendly and professional and the room was clean and the whole hotel was very nice.
Cons: Nothing, I loved everything!
Pros: I was most impressed with the cleanliness of my room and bathroom. It is so nice to arrive to a clean room after a long day of travel. The room was also spacious. It is also nice to have a complimentary breakfast, although the quality of the food was not impressive to me.
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: The elevator didn't work, the toilet paper holder was falling off and the shower rod was loose and hanging down so the shower curtain would not stay shut. Wi-Fi was slow and the TV was not HD
Pros: Clean and felt like home
Pros: Not a lot of people in the hotel
Cons: No one was working the front desk when we got there. Had to wait 10 minutes before someone showed up. Hallways smelled bad.
Pros: The pleasant experience with check-in.
Cons: Too many children running loose in the halls and in the morning breakfast.
Pros: Front desk and staff were very friendly. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was standard and exactly what you would expect. Hotel had a great location for the price. Great price for business or value travel.
Cons: The room was still undergoing cleaning upon check in so I'm not sure if they paid attention to their own schedule or not. It made rather inconvenient to move stuff back into the car and then back into the room 10 mins later. Just to find the floor wet from the steam cleaner. It would have been much easier if they had cleaned the room prior to our check in time.
