Good customer service. Room comfortable. The bathrooms need to be updated. Pool wasn't available, was under construction. No notification about it.

While the hotel was otherwise pleasant... I had about $3,000 worth of belongings stolen from my car during daylight hours. When filing a report with hotel security, it became clear that their job was not to assist me but to protect the hotel, as the first words out of each of their mouths were, "The hotel isn't liable for your stuff." Security also refused to show or provide me the security video from the parking lot, although supposedly shared with the police. A shame they can't keep their own parking lot secure.

10.0+Everything was great, good hotel, excellant location.-Should be a mini fridge in every room I had a small ice chest with that I always bring on vacations so I just kept refilling with hotel ice machine to keep my food cold.

9.1+I have to wait for one hour while my room need to be cleaned first, it was already about 7 PM when I checked-in. Good thing I was travelling with friends and can stay at their room. The room was clean, good size, and comfy, I don't have any complain considering it was holiday time and lots of people in and out.-The only issue is parking. Most of them is compact size and lots of minivans just jamming in without considering other people. Need to work on that.

The shows. The cost was almost $200 for one night for a room to sleep in, nothing more nothing less. The reason for booking was for the midway when we got there we realized the midway for the kids was open to the public we should have booked a room with perks (a pool, free continental breakfast something!) and just gone over to the midway for a couple hours. Not at all financially family friendly. When I asked to cancel the room we were disappointed the woman at the registration could care less. Wont do that again.

7.1+Great value for the money-Upon check in they tried to charge a resort fee that wasn't mentioned anywhere in my reservation. I was able to get them to waive it but they seemed perturbed. Also the cleanliness of the room was pretty bad. At a glance it looked great, but a closer look revealed stains on the sheets as well as sand or something crumb-like. The bathroom needed a deep cleaning as well.

Great room very clean. Very large room we had a great view from our room. Loved the Casino area. The drain in the shower was clogged and you were standing in water.

The room was adequate for what I needed. Loved the breakfast at 9:30 p.m. at Millies. Cinnamon french toast was awesome and my omelet was huge! Although the room is smoke-free, getting through the casino and front desk is very much smoke filled. So just a heads up if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke!

6.5+Friendly & efficient front desk staff and housekeeping, good beverage service in casino, adjoins the Silver Legacy and Circus Circus, large separate parking structure-Rooms are small and seriously need to be updated. Our A/C was on steroids, couldn't get it to calm down, so we had to bundle up in the room, which is better than being too hot, but still.... 95 degrees outside and really too cold inside. Food in coffee shop was pretty bad (and we generally are quite happy with generic hotel coffee shops).

Employees were grear! Room was dirty and worn. Didn't have enough staff at the front desk. Two days I was there saw a constant line with only one to two desk clerks.

6.2+Very good location! Easy to find foods and activities.-Tv was not able to turn on. We made call after calls to front desk & service center. Then, we waited over 5 hours before someone showed up past midnight. All they said was sorry.

4.0+Didn't like much. Poor experience at the buffet. Parking garage full each night I was there. Not enough tables open in casino. Jacuzzi and gym shut down due to broken pipe. Not friendly. Dirty bathroom and carpet filthy.

8.0+Location, good service and cleanliness. Non smoking a plus. Good size room.-The finish line to a marathon was right outside the hotel and someone was using a loud speaker at 7AM IN THE MORNING to announce runners crossing and getting the crowd riled up. Then police on a motorcycle proceeded to use their sirens as the runners were getting getting close and finishing. Went on foe more than an hour. That was awful. Had I known I would have stayed somewhere else. Did not get the sleep and rest I was looking for Sunday morning because of the marathon. It was awful.

Bed was big enough. Bathroom was spacious. looks pretty on the outside & lobby. Self parking is huge. Affordable pricing. Pillow was too soft. Shower head was old, water pressure was too soft. There was no vent in the bathroom & couldn't lock the door. Not enough outlets to plug near nightstand & speaker dock was only for iPhone 4, needs to be upgraded. Casino was closed.

Stayed out late on New Year's Eve. Woke up the next morning and there were no pillowcases on the pillows that we were sleeping on in the bed. Also the inside of the shower was not cleaned the glass was not wipe down. Ran the thermostat on 80° and it never got hotter than 70° in the room it was cold. And very low water pressure in the shower, impossible for two people to take a shower at the same time.

3.4+The hotel room was cleaner than the rest of the property. The hotel is in the process of becoming a No Smoking and No Gaming property. Which for me is a huge plus-Hotel under renovation as it is converted to Renaissance. Had trouble finding hotel due to lack of signage. Air Conditioner unit is in room with no thermostat control Mattress was extremely uncomfortable Rooms were not well insulated for noise. Noise in the corridor all night long.

6.5+I liked that parking was "free"(although they charge you a hotel fee so i guess it isn't really) and the rooms had a refridgerator already in them. There was a convenience store close by. The hotel was quiet and not as busy as the casinos down town.-It wasn't downtown. I thought the walk would be a little shorter but due to the construction sometimes it took a little longer. Also, there was no casino for gambling.

4.3+The only redeeming factor in our stay there was the location.-Of the two elevators, one was out of service (apparently for months) and the other one was extremely slow, taking 18 seconds to open on each floor. This lone elevator serviced 18 floors and gave me the impression of it might quit at any time. Additionally there was a sign on the stairs saying “For emergency fire use only.” Talk about having a trapped feeling. The Cal Neva's rooms show obvious neglect in maintenance; there were holes in the bathroom door, flooring coming up in the bathroom, faucets that barely functioned and a broken chair at the desk near the bed. In all it was not a good experience and I will never stay there again and do not recommend that anyone else stays there either. The Cal Neva should use some of their profits and maintain or better yet update their stinking hotel.

3.0-Sheets made me itch. Carpet was really dirty. Bathroom doesn't flush properly. TV needs upgrade. Smelled really bad. Light bulbs were disgusting and a couple weren't working. Elevator is outdated and feels like it's gonna break on you.
