Great location to be at in front of everything. AS well as free parking and plenty where I was staying at. The only thing that needed to be improved was the shower. It would not drain but other than that good experience with my friends.

The remodel was good, the place was clean and freshened up. The casino and baby sportsboook were lame. The food in the cafe was terrible and the staff throughout the hotel were worse.

Pros (+) Location was great. Bed very comfortable. Nice friendly casino staff. Mexican restaurant was great!
Cons (-) All hotels, including The Sands, need to get rid of the fraudulent 'resort fee' which is just another way to collect money but make the room look cheap in a search engine!

Cons (-) When I walked in to hotel to check in there was a dead body on the floor and they did a very poor job of covering it up they left a arm hanging out of the sheet. I had night mares all night. The room was very old and ac didn’t work very well.
