Iguazu Jungle Lodge - Puerto Iguazú - Pool
1
9.2 Excellent (2,133 reviews)
AED 470+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Iguazú Jungle Lodge in Puerto Iguazú, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Aripuca and Guira Oga. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly staff. They always went extra miles to help. They provide luggage transfer with a golf cart which can be requested anytime when needed to get around the resort. Dinner food was great especially octopus and beef although food was a bit too greasy. Chicken Caesar salad was not recommended. Breakfast was mostly sweet pastry but good selections of fresh fruit.
Cons: Although the breakfast pastry is tasty, more hot food would be appreciated to avoid too much sugar. The on-site tour agents were extremely friendly and helpful but more information for the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls trip such as purchasing tickets before going there to reduce the wait time and driver should advise customers to visit the Falls first instead of the Bird Park to increase the stay at the park. They usually advised 3-4 hours at the park was sufficient but really a day should be planned. The park admission fee is 72 real instead of 55 which agent should update the information.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Deluxe rooms very nice. New modern with soft touches. Euro bathrooms. Excellent kitchen! Top food quality! Fine dinner selections, and great continental style breakfast with regional jams, local fresh fruit and typical Argentinian mini croissants! Great pool area and completely relaxed resort feeling
Cons: Weak WiFi in rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is lovely and feels removed from the tourist crowds. The staff was especially friendly and helpful including making transportation arrangements for us.
Cons: We really liked the food in the restaurant though for one night it would have been nice to have more casual food available especially since we had a 10 year old with us who needs breaks from fine dining. I understand that a second restaurant is in the current construction project so perhaps that will be more casual.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall it's a very nice facility
Cons: Swimming pool: the operation hours are odd and short: from 10 am to 8 pm. It should be from 7 am to 10pm
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They have cabins (small houses) and rooms. We stayed for three nights in a room. Very nice decor and very clean. The room had everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were large. Included a balcony overlooking the river across to Brazil. The grounds are lovely. The pool area is great. Good breakfast. Excellent food in the restaurant for dinner.
Cons: Staff in the restaurant was mixed. We were there over a holiday and that might have made a difference. Some waitstaff was very good and others need more training. While it is very nice, the restaurant was a little high priced for Argentina.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the deluxe room with jacuzzi tub and rain shower with two comfortable queen beds. Loved the view from the bathroom and balcony. The staff was amazingly friendly and there is a golf cart to provide transportation when needed. The restaurant and complementary breakfast were excellent. We also had an excellent dinner there one evening. They had a naturalist which I wish we had better utilized. They had a game area and we had fun playing croquette our final day. Alexis helped us plan our final morning to tour a wildlife rehab center, take pictures at the river border of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil, and enjoy a good lunch and he called a cab and arranged with the cab driver so all wishes were clear. All staff were very helpful but he went way out of his way to make our last day memorable.
Cons: There was construction going on but it did not impact us until our last day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place in the perfect location for a 2/3 days trip to the Iguazu falls. Rooms and restaurant are fantastic! Everything you need to arrange for your visit at the falls you can book here, as it costs the same as buying it at the national park entrance. Very nice hotel staff and drivers.
Cons: Check out time is a little early (10h), but we could extend a bit free of charge and could use the facilities all day, since our flight back to BA was late - thanks for that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very good amenities comfortable rooms. I rate this property one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was great, nothing was too much trouble for them. The lodge restaurant, in my view, the best in Iguazu. In particular I would like to mention Alexis at the Macuco Tours desk. He was fantastic! He arranged a perfect programme for us and made our stay truly memorable
Cons: Could not find any faults
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, great and large room with a view on the forest, very good restaurant
Cons: To much chlore in the pool

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and there were plenty of amenities and services. The grounds are very nice. Also, we were able to walk about 10-20m to several very good restaurants.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool area. Good sized rooms. Comfortable stay. Good facilities including tennis courts. Good taxi service.
Cons: Service could be quite slow in the restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Besides what we stated, everything was perfect. Beautiful swimming pools and the dinner was very delicious. The room was very spacious and clean.
Cons: We booked a taxi from Iguaz Falls and waited for 45min as the Taxi driver was waiting for the different person as they misheard our room number. Considering we called the hotel several times, they did not seem to do anything. We ended up speaking to the driver who was standing there for such a long time with different name of the guests. The receptionist later apologised when we asked. They thought our room number was 424 not 404. After calling twice from Iguazu Falls, we would have thought she would do something.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, great service! Lovely food!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient and the staff was very helpful and warm.
Cons: I went in winter holidays and there was a lot of people. It was a bit messy at breakfast time, you had to wait a few minutes to get a table.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is excellent, the decor and the facilities. The food was also excellent, service in the restaurant was very professional
Cons: All was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. I wouldn't want to stay at the Sheraton as it is run down and in the middle of the jungle! Loi suites is much more beautiful with great views and fantastic pool area. Also the breakfast is regal. Fantastic! The staff is extremely courteous
Cons: WIFI in the room is extra charge Bar and Restaurant service is EXTREMELY slow. On multiple occasions and with different waiter I had to wait 20-30 (!!!) minutes for a cocktail to come out
7.5 Good
Pros: The location in the jungle was amazing.
Cons: There is a bad smell in rooms and sometimes restaurants. The taxi who was supposed to pick us up from the airport did not show up.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, picture perfect setting. Close to the falls, in the jungle, nice pools
Cons: Extremely slow service on the restaurants
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely setting with unique 'suspension bridge' walkways to rooms. Pool area beautiful. Flora and fauna of jungle all around.
Cons: Service in restaurant terrible especially considering price for dinner was double that in town. Slow and disorganised. Bar was even worse, we saw some people wait for 30 mins to get a drink! Hard to get anywhere without a car, need to book a cab / driver every time. Information about transport, facilities etc is not clearly spelled out at check in so you need to ask lots of questions to find anything out.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing it’s old outdated and smells terribly
Cons: Everything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, room..the place is a must have experience.
Cons: Poor level of english and low quality of service for a 5* hotel.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, beautiful pool and property BUT the rooms are dated, mildew smell and bare bones. Also the safe was provided but NOT BOLTED down?! For the amount we paid, I expect a room that doesn’t smell at the least.
Cons: Update needed. Get rid of wood with mildew smell. Bolt down the safe!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Relaxing environment. Nice swimming pools. Room was very clean. Friendly & helpful staff.
Cons: If I’m being critical, the only complaint I have is that the cocktails had to be sent back a few times.

AED 1256+

Every detail has been designed surprise you, from exclusive decoration replete with work by regional artists, to the ''Welcome Elixir'' made from yerba mate and a secret ingredient taken from the jungle. Rest in our rooms and suites, all with views of the falls, relax by the infinity pool or savour the exquisite Argentinean cuisine. Note: Entrance to Iguazu National Park is not included in the rate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: The only thing that really disappointed me was how I had to take a hotel taxi to the National Park information centre for the full moon night walk. It is a 5 minute journey. You are not allowed to walk there because it is forbidden to do so in the park after 6pm. I was charged a flat rate of 500 pesos each way. Daylight (moonlight?) robbery.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The honeycomb, that was a real treat in the morning. We loved the cappuccino, and the service at the restaurant was excellent. The lunch menu was so tasty, and I highly suggest the linguini with the shrimp. The view from our Room was Specular. It Was well worth the value. I would have been upset to stay on the parking lot side! If you can, makes sure to book a room with a view, It is like nothing I've ever seen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel rooms , the cleanliness , food menu , ambience
Cons: The mattresses / beds could be more comfortable . The power cuts were very brief due to construction. The elevators are small : this would be a problem in peak travel times
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful and the location and everything made it very relaxing
Cons: Could not fault it apart from the New Year dinner and dubious entertainment was way too expensive
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location inside the park so nothing was far
Cons: The price is very high for what you get - an average room with average breakfast. This hotel doesn’t even offer free water bottles. There are also no signs from the property to the different locations or from the park to the hotel so if you’re directionally challenged like I am this is less than ideal
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location within the national park
Cons: Large hotel so impersonal
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff friendliness.
Cons: Very slight mustiness in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service
El Pueblito Iguazu - Puerto Iguazú - Bedroom
6
9.0 Excellent (696 reviews)
AED 430+
Overview Reviews
Located in Puerto Iguazú (Zona Granja), El Pueblito Iguazu is within a 15-minute drive of Cataratas Avenue and Three Borders Mark. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Peace and quiet. And the gardens and animals were a pleasant surprise. You have to see the butterfly enclosure, wow. This place actually has the feel of a small village in the jungle.
Cons: The entrance/parking area needs some work. The gravel has a few deep pot hole entering and leaving. A little more attention to the corners in the bathroom would make this a 10. Paying was a bit complicated and ended up being more than advertised on booking because of exchange rates, they took what was quoted in dollar converted it to pesos and then charged my card that amount, $10 more in the end.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: nice hotel but you need a car to get to the falls, it’s 20 min drive at least, otherwise the taxi is 700pesos each way.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean & spacious rooms Friendly staff Mini zoo located on the property Tropical gardens Lovely pool area
Cons: Limited breakfast buffet Located a little way out of town, but on the main highway
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Food - honestly best food I’ve had in Argentina. There was a good diversity in flavour and menu options. Environment - the whole hotel is super cool. Spend some time wandering around the eco park. I got here really stressed but instantly relaxed when I explored the surroundings. Location - easy to ask the hotel to order a taxi for you to get to the Falls. My driver even offered to take me around other places in Missiones but I was too tired. Costs ~$30 AUD for a two way trip and a very friendly driver. Pro-tip: download Google Translate on your phone and make use of the Conversations feature!
Cons: Check-in - They were pretty strict on wanting me to check in at 2 pm because the rooms weren’t ready. Thankfully I managed to get my room at 1 pm and was able to chuck my stuff and leave for my tour. Probably best to ring and make sure they can give you early check-in.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was large, pool was nice and good food in the restaurant.
Cons: N/A. It was a great place!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and quiet, staff helped organise my time at the falls and it’s good value for money. Food was good
Cons: It’s far from town but I know that in advance
7.9 Good
Pros: - Taxis were arranged perfectly - Nancy, the owner, was really kind and waited on us late in the evening the first night. - The rooms are clean and the bed is good. - There is a nice small pool in front of the rooms.
Cons: - The breakfast was too simple and always the same (the small cheesy balls are not good). We missed fruits. - There are 2 different receptionists. None of them speak english. The one in the morning tried to speak a bit slower in spanish, but the one in the afternoon/evening didn't make effort to simplify or slower her spanish. Therefore it was impossible to understand. - A little bit far away from the main road, but nothing too bad.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is out of town, about 15 minutes walk down a quiet road which is just off the main road in from the airport. There is a bus stop nearby where you can catch a local bus into the town itself. The hotel is very close to the Animal Refugio. Pamela was really helpful and helped arrange transport including a taxi to take me to the Brazilian side of the Falls. It is also possible to get a bus from town but I was quite short on time and Raul was really helpful with the immigration side of things.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome from the staff member on the day shift, she was lovely. The rooms were clean, comfortable and felt safe. The pool was nice to relax by.
Cons: There is no kitchen on site to prepare your own food which is fine, however the quality of food is not good. White bread, jam and fried cheese balls for breakfast with a very limited and average food menu. On our first night, there were four people including us in the restaurant. Our food took two hours to come and it turned out to be two shop bought pizzas which were cold in the middle. The staff member on duty in the evenings was fairly rude and came across like she didn't want to be there (but also didn't want any guests to be there either)!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We really liked that we could enjoy a cold beer in the evening at or in the pool. Also, the shower was quite spacey and everything was clean.
Cons: It was a bit of a problem that sometimes, the employes wouldn't understand a single word of English. However, we were always able to figure that out in the end.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and meals were great. We loved it!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel has really nice swimming pool area, nice garden and pool bar with very friendly staff. Restaurant food was also very tasty and affordable. And thats all about positive aspects.
Cons: This is not really 5 stars hotel. We had big expectations coming there, we left disappointed. The service staff is not well trained and it’s hotels fault. The room we got the first night was really old and dirty, next day we got upgraded to better room but to be honest, that should be normal room in 5 stars hotel. They have some problems with housekeeping, also restaurant and bar staff don’t seem happy at work which makes atmosphere a bit strange. If you can just take some other 5 stars hotel in Iguazu if you want to have relax time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The chocolate volcano dessert!
Cons: The service in the restaurant & bar is pretty poor
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything!! The hotel and rooms designed with good taste, very comfortable and the view from the window is like an amazing jungle! The pool is stunning and it's fun to take a day and drink cocktails near the pool :) All the staff were helpful and nice and the breakfast is very good!
Cons: The only thing that was a little disturbing is the ants that showed in our room. It's obvious that we're sleeping in a jungle and there are a lot of bugs near by but the room should be sprayed against it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very well laid out property with size-able rooms, a helpful front desk (even in English), and surprising comfort for the Iguazu Falls area.
Cons: The included breakfast was good but dinner could have been better for the price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice facilities incl the pool
Cons: Poor service, poor breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: - peaceful place - pool in jungle
Cons: - simple breakfast with not many choices - no free water served in room -Flys in restaurant disturbing my lunch - water pressure in shower not enough
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel. Very comfortable room facing the trees. Nice place to relax. Good restaurant.
Cons: Hard to find: located in a side street and no indication on the main road.
6.3 Good
Pros: Pool and gardens, surrounding forest were great.
Cons: Pool deck was way too hot t walk in with bare feet. (Dark timber- bad choice of material) our first room was full of large flying ants. We were then relocated to another room.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Junior suite with river view was normal room with no views. Hotel really in old shape. I would not recommended to choose this hotel. No value for money at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is incredible - from a hill in Argentina you can see both Paraguay and Brazil across the river. The spa is sensational with jacuzzi, sauna, steam, and multi jet showers. A one hour body massage during my stay was 1300 pesos or about $25 USD at that time! Tasty breakfast, great pool and Roman bath, in and outdoor bars, and a casino. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and bars.
Cons: The bed was clean but had a bit of curvature from use. Not uncomfortable but noticeable. They were painting a room on my first night so The odor was noticeable but I assume this is uncommon.
6.0 Good
Pros: Day person at reception was very helpful
Cons: Restaurant food was very slow and was literally cold when it arrived. Obviously waits staff forgot about it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: View Location Room Staff Flexibility to shower in spa after check out
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Sound proof problem in the rooms
5.4 Okay
Pros: The pool.
Cons: The first night we were there, there was a leak from the ceiling that caused a large puddle in the hall outside the bathroom. The leak was fixed but the room began to smell strongly of mold. The air conditioning also did not work well. Our room was 77 degrees in the last night. The bathroom had mold in the vents as well.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The pool.
Cons: Pretty much everything. It's supposed to be a 4.5/5 star hotel. Michelin rate chef. The food was barely basic. The staff was uncooperative. They failed to tell me that breakfast was included with my room rate. Never ate breakfast the 4 days I was there. My king bed was two singles put together. One higher than the other. Listed as having a tour test and concierge. Neither available. Shuttle to town? Nonexistent. Unless it was for Spanish speaking guests only. The best is I booked a 50 minutes massage and barely got 40. I mentioned it to the masseuse and she pretended she didn't understand. What else? Asked for ice with my warm Coca Cola and they said no. Funny the bottles of beer in a bucket for the other guests got a lot of ice. I believe it was the fact that I'm American and don't speak Spanish that I was ignored. Puerto Iguazu is pretty much a tourist town yet they have no customer service. Never ever going back.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok. The location and views from the Hotel were very good. Swimming pool was also very good.
Cons: Rooms are very old style, They could do with a refurbishment.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Staff speaking some English, food was okay.
Cons: Not a 5 star hotel, standard and service rather 3 to 4 stars. At our check in, we mentioned to extend our 2 days stay for one night. But apparently they didn’t book it into their system. Two days later they told us there is no room available for us. After asking to talk to their manager, we had to wait for an hour.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool was good! Big room. Some of personal absolutely not speak english, even not understood!
Cons: Dirty floors. Lobby bar in midday and morning does not work.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing much
Cons: Drinking water provided at exorbitant prices, no tea/coffee service in room, food very ordinary, surly staff. Far from anywhere. Very poor value for money
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and very friendly staff. Great swimming pool.
Cons: Internet was terrible, the property looks quite old fashion, needs to be refurbished
4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice view of the river and the service people at the restaurant Was excellent, but not their food ! They could use a new cook and management
Cons: They overcharged my account and them they pretend that my 3 days pay was just one day, the front desk staff and management was very rude while I was not able to see well due to a Cataratas operación on both eyes. Be careful with their account info practices!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The villa like rooms are situated in a tropical jungle setting surrounded by lush green.
Cons: The manager overcharged us. We booked two triple rooms. We had made a reservation for 5 but had 6 family members traveling. We had assumed booking two triple rooms meant that 6 people could stay. However the manager insisted on charging us 30% extra for one of the rooms. This made no sense since both rooms were billed as Triple Rooms and had 3 persons staying in them. It felt very extortionate because the cost of reserving the rooms with 5 or 6 travelers was the same.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, in the middle of a rain forest.
Cons: Website is wrong when it notes free airport transfers. They do not provide transfers. We wasted a lot of time finding that out. (Hotel phones didn't work). Also a miscommunication with the booking website. Only one of our two rooms was reserved, despite a confirmation email saying otherwise. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate us anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique location of the hotel
Cons: Dining and lobby temperature was warm.
5.4 Okay
Pros: We booked this hotel because it had good reviews and we liked that location is not in the city. We arrived at 9pm - no one at the reception (officially it was opened till 10pm). Someone, I guess it was a waitress, gave us the key. We got no info about when the breakfast is; what is WiFi password etc. we had to go back couple times till we got a paper where everything was explained. Breakfast is... ok, maybe it is Argentina style. Room looked different, than advertised and this brought is to even bigger disappointment. We didn’t like breakfast so much that we didn’t dare to dry dinner at their resto.
Cons: Service, food, room looked different than on the picture (smaller and simpler)
7.0 Good
Pros: The place is lovely, you are surrounded by lots of huge plants and nature
Cons: The restaurant service was really slow, I thi k they only have one chef so it can take a while for your food to come. If you eat early you'll be fine. They could do with some music in the restaurant... Taxis are expensive, use local instead.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, close to some major attractions like La Aripuca. Near Rainforest.
Cons: I would have given the hotel a much higher rating if not because my money was stolen from my wallet while I was having breakfast at the hotel. The staff may be working together as I see them watching us at the BF place closely, maybe to check when we will leave so that they can inform the cleaner to leave our room. They are smart that they only stole one out of the few hundreds I have. I had USD in 100's and Peso in Thousands, and also CAD in 50's. upon return to my room from BF, I noticed my wallet was on the table and zipper opened. I didn't realized my money was missing until later that day when I tried to purchase something. In total, I lost 1 x 100 USD bill, 1 x 1000 Peso bill and 2 x 50 CAD bills. I was very certain it was at the hotel that I had been stolen the money as I counted my bills just the evening before and I had not gone anywhere before the money gone missing, except to Breakfast. My door was locked, so only the cleaner or other hotel staff can get inside my room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the comfort and the sounds of nature. The swimming pool is a fantastic feature. The service was very attentive and friendly. Good food too
Cons: It exceeded my expectation. Perfect place to relax and rest immersed in nature after a whole day out. Internet connection can be improved as don't think can support any remote work, if required.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, a lot of interesting jungle plants and flowers, 24/7 pool. Room have safe box and alarming system, air conditioner and heater. English speaking staff.
Cons: WiFi was a litte bit slow.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room, pool and lodge were very lovely. It was extremely peaceful to be in the middle of the rain forest with such comfortable accommodations. I especially liked the hotel kitty that would visit.
Cons: The WiFi is non existent and the bathroom could use a bit of an update but the value for money was great. We chose to have dinner one night at our hotel and one night at each of the hotels next door, definitely worth the walk for the variety and change of scenery.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole physical environment of the lodge was just lovely. There are wooden boardwalks cutting through the jungle to get to your own cabana area. The room was spacious and charming. Breakfast was part of the stay and it had a decent buffet. The lodge was also fairly close to town. Overall a delightful experience!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool was absolutely great! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Thank you
Cons: Our room needed a bit of maintenance! Our outside door handle was broken and the aircon didn’t work properly! Restaurant and bar was very expensive and expected a bit more for the price!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. There are a lot of bugs, but that is because you're in the jungle. Overall, we had a very a nice stay.
Cons: The food was okay, could have been better.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is just on the edge of the National Park so close to airport and falls. The waitress at dinner works exceptionally hard.
Cons: Everything else. Check in was fairly smooth. Got taken to our room, we’re told there was water in the fridge, there wasn’t. Was meant to have a safe in the room, we didn’t. We eventually got one drilled in the next morning. We arrived late from our flight and were starving. We ordered a simple tomato pasta and it was nothing short of vile. It was a congealed mess. The pasta could be picked up on my fork in 1 lump and that’s no exaggeration, I actually did. My husbands was the same. We then ordered a risotto hoping it would be better, it wasn’t. That was also disgusting. They chef should be embarrassed. Numerous other things happened but I can’t even be bothered to waste my time going into it. The pool is filthy dirty. I’m not sure where they have got their 4* from. It is not 4*, a 3* at best.
6.7 Good
Pros: Jungle lodge feel was nice. Dinner was good. Breakfast was okay.
Cons: Service is slow. Rooms are too far from the lobby. Rooms are average. No free drinking water!

Pros: Very good location near bus stop and near Hito monument. Lovely and helpful staff. Quiet accommodation, nicely decorated, with a luxuriant tropical garden, a pool and a jacuzzi. The restaurant is a must, the Chef, his brigade and the service team delighted me with very original and generous cuisine ! Muchas Gracias por todos
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Bit difficult to mention the positives when we had things stolen
Cons: The theft of clothing items mainly and management did nothing to assist or compensate
6.3 Good
Pros: Calm place, nice staff, good restaurant on site, clean
Cons: A bit oldish, and need some upgrades and repais
7.5 Good
Pros: The room and the bathroom were spacious.
Cons: The matrassess were uncomfortable. The room had only one little window and thus almost no natural light from the outside.

Pros: Great hospitality, helpful staff, excellent restaurant on site, rustic and artistic atmosphere
Cons: Breakfast (was ok, not bad just not to personal taste but they were as accommodating as they could be!)

5.4 Okay
Pros: Independent lodge in the jungle and swimming pool
Cons: Bad breakfast, amazingly bad restaurant for dinner, only 1 blanket (freezing cold in the morning in June). Way too expensive for the quality
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Chalets nestled in the forest, clean and comfortable. Air con worked a treat. Nice forest views, comfortable. If being ultra critical some parts looked a little tired but nothing essential. All clean, heaps of space and comfortable. Staff very friendly although very limited English (Spanish speaking nation after all) however a mixture of some English, google translate and hand signals more than covered it. Very accommodating. Booked tours and provided maps. Were horrified at price of Viator tour although probably an English speaking tour to Brazil might have helped (on other hand very cheap $1200 pesos including a fabulous lunch at assistance through the border so worked well). Assured with taxis and directions to bus stop (look for buses with Uruguay on the side, I don’t know why but got me to the Falls at a fraction of a taxi cost). All around a very pleasant stay and would happily stay again. Highly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The cabins were spotless and very the bed was very comfortable. Lots of space and very quiet. Nice pool area, there is work going on to improve the pool area and it looks like it will be beautiful when completed.
Cons: We weren’t made aware we needed to pay for dinner with cash until we were checking out. We didn’t have enough pesos so ended up paying in Brazilian reals which we had kept to pay for our taxi back to the airport.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice parc, very helpfull staff.
Cons: Be aware the region is humid. Towels, shirts do not dry easily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed here for several days and loved the entire experience. Tierra Guarani Lodge is located inside the Selva Yriapu reserve, and the lodge itself is designed to allow maximum immersion in nature. Lots of hotels in the area are sterile and modern and far removed from the natural beauty that draws people to Iguazu in the first place. Thankfully, Tierra Guarani is different, allowing for a true rainforest experience. The lodge is made up of individual private cabins nestled into the lush rainforest. You walk to your cabin on an elevated boardwalk through the rainforest. Each cabin has a private back porch/patio, where you can swing in a hammock and enjoy the sounds of the birds and insects in the trees. The service was friendly and the room was very clean. We ate dinner there one night and enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting the area. We were sad to leave such a beautiful, peaceful place.
Cons: They only accept cash payment for dinners at the lodge. They can't add any incidental charges to your credit/debit card bill, which means any food or laundry services were cash-only.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jungle, banana trees and falling trees are nice, tasty and adventurous.
Cons: It’s a little far from the city, but if you want jungle, it’s perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was great. The surrounds were fantastic. The rooms are seperate cottages in the rainforest. The pool is set in the rainforest. It is very quiet and has beautiful surroundings. The hotel is close enough to town that taxis are not expensive.
Cons: The breakfast was very poor. You cannot eat the food at this hotel. We went to the hotel next door to eat, or you can get a taxi into town to eat.

Pros: Everything was perfect! I even frequented the little shop for snacks. I paid a little more than what I normally would. After spending a lot of time trekking around South America, I wanted to treat myself just a little and a little goes a long way! Great room, great service, great views!
7.9 Good
Pros: Good food, nice pool, Good location.
Cons: Rooms had problems with A/C and we had to change room three times. Staff was not super helpful. Bathroom had a leak from the roof.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: As a 3,5 star hotel I would rate this 10/10. Probably the best breakfast we had in Argentina, decent bread, lots of delicious fruit and fresh juice every morning. Very friendly staff, good wifi and a nice pool and fitness room. Quite and sentral location to both Brasil, the park and only 20 minutes to walk downtown. Superb value for money. The restaurant at the hotel is okay. But food in general was way better and cheaper in Brasil.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff from the bar and the buffet in the morning were really good
Cons: The men from reception were quite rude they were more interested in doing 25 things a time than pay atention to the guest they had in front. One of them was also on his phone. The girl was excellent.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location for the falls, and getting across to Brazil. Clean basic rooms, good value. Had a massage as well, good price. Lady on reception organised taxi for me to get me to and from falls and to my onward acccomdation which was great.
Cons: Room was a bit noisy, some maintenance shop out the back and a compressor or something started up regularly. Not a deal breaker though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely lobby and very nice room. Staff extremely friendly. Taxi stand right in front of the hotel with always available taxis. Unbelievable price for such a nice place. Good breakfast although very few non carb options. Scrambled eggs were available upon request but I didn’t know it until we were leaving breakfast on our last day and saw someone with eggs. There was a small sign on the fruit buffet that neither my husband nor myself had seen until the person with the eggs pointed it out to me.
Cons: Needed a big sign informing guests that eggs were available. There were very few to no available adapters for the sockets at the front desk so guests had to leave cellphones and iPads at the desk to charge. The hotel should invest in more adapters or sell them in their shop. My room was right across from the large I ❤️ Iguazu sign on the road into town and sometimes people would stop there in the early morning for photos but leave loud engines running creating a lot of road noise.

Pros: Apartment was secure, clean, comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. We felt secluded with the lovely yard and patio but also perfectly located walking distance from restaurants. Best of all, the host on-site is the best! So accommodating and friendly. Also highly recommend the driver she set us up with, Andres.
Cons: Loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment is roomy and comfortable. It was quiet and the pool was lovely and refreshing after a hot day in the park. The owner Mirta was incredibly helpful in introducing us to the area. We would loved to have stayed longer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Located just outside the town centre, it’s peacefully quiet at night. Only a few minutes walk to the bus stop (to Iguazú falls), close to supermarkets and ten minute walk to the town and restaurants. The rooms are as pictured, functional kitchenette and tastefully decorated, daily housekeeping was received during our 3 night stay. The host - Mirta, is warm and welcoming and English speaking which assisted us greatly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: District, safty
Cons: All ok
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything. The hosts are super helpful and kind, speak very good English, we felt like at home. The garden and the hotel is very beautiful and clean. We enjoyed a day at the pool as well. The room we had at first was very modern, free coffee, tee and everything very clean, lot of storage place. We had to change the room because there was an issue with the water and the second room was not that nice (smelly air con and lots of Mosquitos in the room) but overall our stay in Iguazú was perfect and really recommendable!!!!
Cons: Nothing at all
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent apartment in a great location. Owner was extremely helpful and friendly.

Pros: Lovely room, great service! Lovely food!

Pros: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient and the staff was very helpful and warm.
Cons: I went in winter holidays and there was a lot of people. It was a bit messy at breakfast time, you had to wait a few minutes to get a table.

Pros: Small hotel with fresh breakfast included (fruit, pastries, bread, cereal, ham/cheese rolls, coffee, yogurt, juice) and friendly, helpful staff. Great location for taxi pick up. Supermarket and pharmacy 5 minute walk. Also a 5 minute walk to the greatest steakhouse, El Quincho del Tio Querido. After a hot day of visiting the Falls a dip in the pool was just what we needed! Air conditioning was wonderful... takes a few minutes but works well once it’s running. Highly recommend this spot for an affordable pleasant stay near Iguazu.
Cons: Only one roll of toilet paper in the room.

Pros: Great location in the town. They did a nice job with the breakfast. The staff were very helpful with anything we needed and it was quiet there. I thought the beds were comfortable too.
