Belmond le manoir aux quat' saisons is set in secluded private grounds seven miles southeast of the historic city of oxford in the rural cotswolds countryside. Belmond le manoir is located in the ancient village of great milton adjacent to the parish church of st. Mary in the heart of the oxfordshire. Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, belmond le manoir enjoys an idyllic setting. Facilities at belmond le manoir feature foremost its michelin 2 star restaurant, the centerpiece of founder raymond blanc. In addition to the restaurant, belmond le manoir features a cookery school offering a wide range of classes for both advanced and novice students. The hotel's extensive grounds offer many tranquil walks and even a japanese garden with tea house. Bicycles are available for those who wish to explore beyond the hotel's grounds. Additional facilities include a bar and lounge, private dining room suitable for several types of functions and events, jacuzzi, game room, business services, spa services, 24-hour room service, complimentary wireless internet access and accessible facilities. Pros: nice room, though a little small; helpful staff, good location to visit Oxford, quiet but on main street with bus service very close to get into oxford
Pros: Meticulously clean, excellent room, very quiet and wonderful staff
Cons: We only stayed one night
It was a short walk to Summertown. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean.
Pros: Modern, comfortable, convenient, and personable.
Cons: There was a little bit of noise between rooms. My neighbor was a crying baby. I was able to remove the sound with my ear plugs. I also had trouble getting WiFi working in my email configuration.

Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead.
In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!

Pros: It is in an excellent location for visiting my daughter who is studying at Worcestor college.
Cons: We were in a room with heavy scaffolding blocking the entire two windows. Men were talking, yelling & working/pounding in front of the two windows every morning. They totally ignored us who needed sleeping in the room. There were no privacy nor courtesy. We were not informed or asked if it's Ok for the reception to assign such a downgraded room (the windows were blocked by scaffolding entirely)to us at check in either. The service and facilities were at most a one star hotel this time. I stayed in this hotel for about 5 times in the last two years because we were visiting our daughter who was studying at Worcestor college(one block away). They've been always about a three stars hotel standard. But this time was the worst. We will not use this hotel any more. It's totally not worth the price & the poor facility.
Pros: excellent location in central Oxford, minutes away from historic colleges, the central market, and the bus station.
Cons: Rooms were small, extremely overheated and poorly ventilated. Old carpeting triggered allergies. Breakfast not included in the room price and very expensive ($30 for a continental buffet).
Pros: Clean bedsheets and towels
Cons: Very small rooms for the price; You can't reach the reception directly; you basically have to go through hoops and being on hold before someone picks up; the staff are not quick in responding to issues or concerns. Wifi was really quite poor--it bounced off every five minutes.
