Pros (+) The staff was helpful.
Cons (-) The rooms were very dated. The carpeting was worn and not vacuumed every day. The bathrooms were manageable if there were more towels. I don’t expect Air-Con, but the windows only open three inches. Hard to get air-flow in the unusual heat.

Pros (+) Very kind staff and great location next to the coolest neighborhood in Oslo, let us check in way early after arriving at 7am from the train, and only a 10-15 minute walk from train station.
Cons (-) Very basic feel, nothing romantic about it, kind of like a school dorm.

Cons (-) It was our first trip and first stop in Norway in our life, our expierence with parking by Anker Hotel was absolutely terrible and we will not recommend this place to anyone else we care and will never visit this hotel again. Ankel hotel has a parking place BELONGS to a private parking company. But on the entrance of the parking it's written clearly: Q-Park Anker Hotel. The parking lot welcomed us...
