Pros: Hotel is clean, most staffs were attentive and helpful.
Cons: My family and I were extremely disappointed of the services provided by the breakfast restaurant. It was poor and much below standard compared to other 5 star hotels. Staff were unfriendly and not helpful, in fact rude to a certain degree. I would not recommend having breakfast or dine at the restaurant.
Otherwise services from guest services, front desk and butler services were outstanding.
Pros: BEST SERVICE~~~~!!!!

Pros: Excellent service .. I forgot my passport in the safety box
They contacted me directly and asked me how do I want to receive it.
Pros: concierge is very good
Cons: no welcome fruits, nobody helping to open heavy entrance door, poor choices for breakfast. At least for New Year they could do something nicer for breakfast.

Pros: Hotel Universal Port is a nice modern hotel catered to families. The minute you walk in your are faced with all types of minion characters as part of the decoration. Our kids loved it. They also have special Minion rooms which we did not know about ahead of time. Staff was professional and attentive. One of the few hotels we could find that could accommodate four people in a room.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was ok. Very little western food. We expected an omelet ststion but they didn't have one. An abundance of Asian food. location of the hotel is out of the way from the center of Osaka so takes a couple of trains to get to Dotonbori but you get used to it.
Located in Konohana, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Osaka Takoyaki Museum and Universal CityWalk® Osaka. Sanja Shrine and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Pros: Best hotel to stay at when visiting Universal Studios
Cons: The smoke coming from the smoking lounge gets into the elevators.
Pros: When you arrive at Universal City, you simply have exit the station and you are less than a minute from the hotel. Then to make it better, you are just across the from the park. Food, staff, and area were great. Bed a little hard, it is to be expected. Very easy to get to the aquarium and huge ferris wheel (only 10 mintues by ferry, which is across the street). Truly enjoyed the hotel and because of this, we were able to enjoy our time in Osaka.
Pros: The location can't be beat if Universal Studios is your destination. It is also right next to the Universal City train station. The lobby is grand and swanky - reminded me of the recent Great Gatsby film. You can buy your Universal Studios tickets and Express Passes at a desk in the lobby. We were not able to check in early, but they did hold our bags, and even delivered them to the room when we came back at check-in time.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is expensive; it is not included in the room price.
Pros: You couldn't get any closer to Universal Studios and the staff were so amazingly helpful they went above and beyond. Beautifully rooms, beautiful hotel, great food and a touch of luxury. Thank you.
You'll be in a fantastic location at The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan(R), just a 5-minute walk from Osaka Takoyaki Museum and Universal Studios Japan®. Guests can indulge in facials, and Buffet Dining 'Alaka, one of 3 restaurants, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms offer up nice touches like deep soaking tubs, pillow menus, and slippers.
Pros: I got a lot more than I paid for at Hotel Nikko. The room was comfy with great dimmable lighting, quiet AC, and clean. The staff was incredibly helpful- carrying shopping loot all the way from my taxi to my room, and generally available for any questions I had for them.
Cons: One pet peeve: a power outlet closer to the bed would have been nice, but this was not a problem.

Pros: Located literally next to Osaka's Sky Tower and rotating garden/restaurant. Not far from Umeda station as well. Hotel is also very nice, but best of all was the service, which was impeccable.
Pros: Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar near the lobby was absolutely great. Bartender was very genuinely kind and knowledgable.
Cons: lady at check-in office was very curt in her communication (smaller woman with glasses). The hotels restaurant does not offer 24 hour room service, and the hotel does not allow deliveries, so if you find yourself hungry past the kitchen hours, you are screwed. Concierge is off duty after 10pm, so again, any late-night info is non-existent. Location was very far from any nearby attractions, even any row of shops/restaurants.

Pros: I liked the staff. They were very friendly and they do their best to accommodate you. The facilities were good and they have everything to meet your needs. Best of all, the hotel location is at the heart of the shopping district of Osaka.
Cons: It would be great if they had a bit of variety in their breakfast buffet. It would also be nicer if you can watch TV with an option to have English subtitles at the very least. They can also improve the wifi because the signal was very erratic. Other than those, everything was great and we had a wonderful stay.
Cons: Dirty. More like 1.5 star motel.
Pros: The staff at the front desk was very kind as everyone is in japan
Cons: The entire hotel smelled like bleach and smoke. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Walls were stained, rooms smelled over bearing like bleach and cleaning products I had to leave early. The carpet smelled I felt dirty after leaving. None of the previous reviews held up to the facility. Like staying in a run down hospital. Will never book a hotel through kayak again. And I travel for work and pleasure very regularly. Might be the worst experiment at a "4 star hotel" I've experienced in my life
Located in Chuo, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Hozenji-Yokocho Alley and Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade. Tsutenkaku Tower and Shitennoji Temple are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Cons: Our air conditioner did not work. They called someone in but told us it the coldest it would get. We took them to our other family room and showed them how cold it was in that room. She said she'd talk to the manager and see if we could move. That was at 12:00 noon. We never heard from anyone that day or the next. So we left.
Pros: Location was just next to Dotonbori.

The hotel is located a 40-minute train ride from World Heritage sites in Kyoto, Nara, and Himeji. The renowned shopping street Tenjinbashisuji is a 6-minute train ride away.
Cons: Wifi not complimentary. At a rate of $17/day I think it is too expensive...
