Purchased additional baggage and the flight was canceled due to covid. When they rebooked us they didn’t carry over the extra baggage. They wanted to charge 3x the original ticket price for “added” weight… 6000 bhat for an additional 15kilo (which would of been easily covered by what we originally booked) took nearly 2 hours to work out and they only let us check in minutes before our flight boarded. Very unhappy.

Cons: I wasn't able to go on this flight, or on the trip at all due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the airline has not responded to my request for a refund or credit yet.

Cons: The charge for extra baggage was three times the cost of my ticket. Outrageous!

Pros: The flight attendants were very attractive

Cons: I had to check a bag. My friend, who is Thai, Called the airline and was given the price of 450 baht to check a bag. I called about an hour after that to actually pay for checking a bag and they told me that it was 1225 baht ($41). The other person had made a mistake and that the price was 1225 if I want to ship my bag. I had to pay the high price because I had no other way to get my bag to Phuket. Afterwards someone I met told me that the price for the Westerners is always higher but three times the price is outrageous and I will never fly with that airline again.

Pros: Cheap flight!

Cons: Damage to luggage and their compensation is a pittance. Took the legs off my suitcase and gave me USD $6. The flight was very uncomfortable as AC is not used until up in the air, so we boarded and sat in 25C+ until we were airborne.

Cons: Luggage fees are exorbitant! $100 for two suitcases of 20 kilos.

Pros: Fast to board Economical

Delay of 1,45 hours without explaination

Cons: No explanation why a long delay and change of gate at DM airport

Strange rules

Pros: The plane appeared clean, and they gave us complimentary small bottles of water.

Cons: They wouldn't allow me to eat some dried banana chips I had purchased at a shop outside the airport. I think they only wanted you to eat snacks purchased on the flight. Also, they required everyone to turn all electronic devices completely off during take-off, ascent, descent, and landing. They wouldn't allow you to use them even in airplane mode for some reason, despite most other airlines worldwide allowing airplane mode throughout the entire flight.

Awful customer service

Cons: The service upon arriving to the airport was absolutely atrocious. We attempted to check in and the woman behind the counter gave us a huge problem. When I booked, I must have put the ticket under Susie instead of Susanne and despite showing her my passport she said I was going to be charged 800 baht to fix my name. It took two separate supervisors for them to realize that the passport number I booked with was in fact the same passport number I was presenting to them. I also wanted to check a piece of luggage and had to go to a different counter, waiting on another line to pay for the luggage. Not one person explained that upon landing in Bangkok for my layover that I would need to take my luggage off of the carousel and then repeat the process I did at the Chiang Mai Airport. It baffles me that they have no organization because prior to getting up to the counter, 4 people were clearly unhappy with the customer service. I would not recommend this airline company to anyone, in fact I would advise that people wouldn’t use it.
