Pros (+) Walking distance to beach and Nye Beach area. Staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) Breakfast bar very small with only a single coffee pot; selection mediocre. Grounds untidy and messy & smelly garbage container near rooms and ice machine. Building needs upgrades and repair.
Pros (+) The breakfast was awesome with eggs, waffles, cereal, juices, hot chocolate, fruit, bagels, muffins and probably more. Knocks $20+ off the price of the stay, in my opinion.
Cons (-) Check-in was a minor hassle because of Costco firing American Express and switching to CitiBank Visa cards. This resulted in the credit card I used to book the room earlier this year being denied when we attempted to check in. Cons (-) No elevator. Funny smell to room. Lumpy mattress. Place has a very old and worn feel to it.
