The staff was very nice, the food was good, location can't be beat. Good price, the room was clean. Would definitely stay here again!
The pool deck opens up onto the beach and the room was spacious for the fee Main elevators closed after a few seconds with poor sensors as my youngest was closed on twice. Room door was broken (barely hanging on) making getting into the room an event.
Everything. Everything was misrepresented in kayak. No room like mine was even shown in pictures and that's exactly what customers look at. oh there's also two VERY DIFFERENT buildings that are Westgate: ones a very nice condo, the other is literally a shitty roach motel. There's no differentiating the two when you're booking a stay. The staff talked to me and treated me like I was a child. I didn't even stay there the night I checked in. Kayak also informed me that I might not even get my money back even though I wasn't even there 24 hours. Unfortunately I won't be using kayak again.
We did not feel welcome at all!! Everythimg we ask for was only for "owners" ( parking, umbrela and beach chairs, lobby) staff were more interesting in selling time share vacation than make a guess feel confortable.

Loved being at the beach! The room was clean and had a great view. The rooms with a jacuzzi were fantastic!! (This is in the new/nice building). I didn't like the fact that they have 2 completely different buildings and your parking area depends on the building you are staying in. One building is really nice and has the parking near you, but the other building is not very nice with parking across the street. I think you need to know this when you are booking a room.
Our room an our view we spectacular. I loved the clenleyness of our room. The staff was amazing and treated us great. We were very close to attractions which made it a lot more fun. I didn't like the fact that room service ended so early. I also didn't like the fact that because my husband wasn't 25 we couldn't get tickets to one of the dinner shows. But even with that our vacation was lovely and we plan to return

It was clean and a nice facility for the money I paid. Overall a nice place and good location. I didn't like that for wifi for 7 days I had to pay 40 dollars and I could only use it one device at a time. That is ridiculous!! Also the walls were kind of this so I could constantly hear my neighbors. The outlets in the room were crappy so none of my devices would stay plugged in and sometimes they didn't work.
I liked the location and amenities at Westgate. The onsite restaurant/sports bar was great also. The location is right across from the amusement park on the beach. There is also a water park next to it also. Our room was nice and the staff was friendly. The only thing I noticed that could be improved was having a laundry facility in each building instead of one. Being on the beach does lead to dirty clothes and there is only one building that you can wash. Not a big deal but room for improvement. Most Westgste properties have washer and dryers in the rooms. I think this would be a decent compromise.
I enjoyed jerry he made the trip for what it was lacking worth while Hotel food and drinks were terrible, needs better menu especially if you want men with families to stay or married couples with no children who enjoy food and drink
The hotel was fine,I booked it for $---a night for 2 nights. I reserved a king suite oceanfront room, upon arrival they put me in a side view room. I called the desk to explain my plight, they did nothing to solve the issue without me paying $129 more. The reservation process, I'm an assistant manager for a hotel, I wasn't pleased with the booking.

It was near the ocean. 1. The Hotel was hard to find at night. 2. The smell of weed was all in the hallway; please note that I had my daughter with me on my stay. 3. The staff did not answer the phone on the night I was trying to locate the hotel 4. The stove would not heat

The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. You are sent to the time share representative to find out about parking instructions; this only happens after the sales pitch. I had to ask where to park because the sales person forgot to tell us after he completed his sales pitch.
We were in an oceanfront suite. I liked that the suite had two balconies. One from the bedroom and one from the living room. Oceanfront is always a favorite. Also, both rooms had individual units for the AC. The bedroom bed was very comfortable. The room smelled very musty when we walked in. We came home with sinus issues and this could likely be the reason. The mattress protector on the murphy bed was torn and the sheets that I asked for, for it were stained. Also, there were no pillow cases.
Location The smell was absolutely horrible!!!! Our whole floor stunk and when we got to our room it was wet....the whole room was wet! The beds, the cushions, the floors (carpet and tile) I just don't understand it! will not be staying here again.
Hotel was a good price for the quality. I had read both good and bad reviews so I didn't know what to expect and thus the hotel exceeded my expectations. Our room was nice. Parking was not the best situation but I guess it is Myrtle Beach. Not every hotel has a parking deck beneath.
