The decor, the pool, the staff The flies and the smell of insecticide
This hotel opened just few weeks before our week-end with the familly. We choose a room in front of the desert (lowest standard in this hotel). They was no direct access outside by the window wherase others have a terasse in front of a nice pool. We liked the view and spent nice time in the pool. We liked its location on the way to Liwa desert. The buffet for diner was good for the money (117ead) - especially fresh starter, hot meal not sophisticate but good. We didn't like the service at all. We had to book in twice as the first room was already busy! We were asked twice to pay for the diner before the check out (during check-in and at the as we were about to sleep!).
It's a beautiful hotel. The room service staff were very responsive. We requested a twin room, but were put in a queen/double. The walls were very thin so we could hear those next door.
The hotel has a wonderful pool which allows you to enjoy the dessert scenery while swimming. Nearby there is a camel race track, where you can spot often camels during their training.
The hotel staff service and the location
the great dessert surrounding rooms and food overprized
Very friendly staff, always helpful. Silent location in the desert, children enjoyed it. Nice Arabian decor in the entire hotel.
the peace and quiet
I like the room space and design, welcome staff and good classic restaurant. amazing to spend a weekend and have peace of mind.
Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Would like to have seen some entertainment offered in the evening. There were a lot of flies around the swimming area and no warning posted of dangers of scorpions or snakes form people who wanted to walk in the surrounding desert.
