|Top route||Ulaanbaatar Chinggis Khaan to Incheon Intl|
|Top airport||Ulaanbaatar Chinggis Khaan|
Pros: Crew was great. Food was good for airplane food. Service was excellent.
Cons: Comfort was poor, the plane was old, no entertainment. Very old style airplane.
Pros: We were left alone and flight crew didn’t bother us too much
Pros: WE travelled in business class so it was very relaxing as well
Cons: Boarding was the only issue with people pushing into the line - we off loaded on an aero bridge so all good
Cons: Flight was late. These things happen, but made for a late night.
Cons: Old planes, very tight knee space if you are over 5’11”
Cons: Food was boring and American style. Seats rather tight. Service was not as good as in previous years. Landing was unusually rough. Other than that a perfectly average flight. MIAT used to impress me, though.
Pros: Friendly staff, good service, on time flight
Cons: No vegetarian options, very basic entertainment but the flight was short (less than 5hrs)
Pros: The crew was excellent.
Cons: The seat was too small.
Cons: This flight was operated by MIAT. I have never been on a plane with such cramped seats. If the person in front tipped their seat back it was almost touching your nose! Nothing on screen for 4 and a half hours and the AC barely functioned, so with a full plane it became unbearably hot!
Pros: Was understood and flexible
Cons: This was not my flight I did NOT book this flight, why am I getting these messages
Pros: Professional and attentive service. I also appreciated that all announcements were in English.
Pros: MIAT has one of the most comfortable sets of B-737. Crew was very friendly and polite.
Cons: I'd like to have additional food for extra money
Cons: The food was terrible. Need more water/liquids.
Pros: They did give us a snack on board
Cons: We were delayed 3 hours. I had no Mongolian money because I was leaving the country. The crew at the airport had no idea about giving people at least a bottle of water. They ignored our requests.
Pros: Liked the food and didn't expect it on only a 3 hr flight.
Surprise baggage charge
Pros: The airplane was quite new and felt comfortable. The food was delicious and hot. The attendants were helpful and attentive to our needs.
Cons: I wasn’t aware of the $70 (!!!) charge for a second item of checked luggage. In addition to the unanticipated cost, it was a real hassle to pay. The MIAT agent at the ticket counter could not accept payment and I had to leave my passport with her as I waited across the terminal on a different line to pay. Then I had to bring my receipt back to the attendant to get my passport. Now that I know, I would try to find a different airline to fly.
Pros: Food and service good
Cons: No sound on at one seat, no picture at other
One of the best!
Pros: One of the Best Airlines except heavy food.
Cons: I don't like
Cons: The flight was delayed for almost 2 hours. I wish to get compensation.
Ticket agents were worthless
Pros: Getting from point A to point B was fine, it was the ticketing agents beforehand who were the problem.
Cons: I had to change my ticket dates and the ticketing agents took FOUR days to respond the charged me almost $900 for changes that were NOT made then we had to go through the process again before the changes were finally made
Cons: Crew took off with snow on the wings
mongoluan airljne was good
Pros: but Beijjng aeroportvwas not good.
Pros: Food is always good on the MIAT flights. I wish that you could check-in in advance to get better seating; I was in the last row of the plane. Service in also great. The run one movie on the screens but the offered headphones are substandard today
Cons: Frustrating that MIAT doesn't partner with more airlines, since they are one of the few airlines into Mongolia. Although you may have 2-3 bag allowance on international carrier you have to pay for more than one checked bag on MIAT unless flying on United
Pros: Check in was easy and the bags were checked through to my final destination. I had lounge access as I was flying business class.
Cons: My flight time was early so some parts of the airport were not open...not MIAT's fault!
Pros: Stewardesses service
Cons: Food, entertainment, boarding and comfort.
Pros: A lovely new airplane, a warm and friendly service, and a very comfortable Business Class cabin.
