The veiw from the room of L.B. harbor, parking was close, able to explore the boat ungiuded. My wife had a fun time. Did'nt see one ghost.
The price you agree is not what you pay. The self park is expensive as is the must take incidentals. The rooms are tired and need some TLC. The member of staff at reception was not helpful and appeared uninterested when I explained we had booked 2 Double rooms but had been given 2 singles instead, said was our booking agents fault even although I had paperwork indicating the opposite. We had an ok meal in the restaurant however we we're only half way through our starters when the main meals were plonked on our table. Definitely will not be back. Being ripped off

$26 parking for hotel guests. Receptionist just said "yeah, this is Long Beach"

Went through Kayak to purchase this room. Kayak seemed to think it was a 4 star. It is it not a four star, 2.5 to 3. Took 25 minutes to check in with only one person in line ahead of me, mold in the shower, shower was over all dirty and old, room was stuffy the whole time I was there, parking was 26.00, which is NOT advertised, found out when I got there, Internet was 14.95, which I was advised of that when I arrived although my receipt showed a king size room - Internet. My fault for assuming that if was included. won't stay here again, especially for the rate that I was charged. Hmmmm... Large bath towels

Modern feel, staff friendly Parking 16$ extra per night! (Hidden cost) pool not heated and small. Did not like outlet mall being attached to hotel.

Booked online for a room with a double bed. Reservation confirmation after booking the reservation snuck in "double or king." When we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms with double beds and not even any rollaway beds. So I canceled the reservation. Kayak may not be the responsible provider, but when the website option selected is room with double beds and that's the primary reason for my selection of the particular hotel, they better have that kind of room available to backstop my booking. Otherwise, it's false advertising. I will think twice before using Kayak again to book a hotel room.
The hotel itself was great. Clean and well kept! The room designs are modern and crisp & the staff was nice enough as well. Parking was a nightmare. The hotel shares a parking structure with the World Trade Center business area and you are unable to enter the garage past midnight and valet was nowhere to be seen when we got back to the hotel around 1:00 AM. With so many destinations like Disneyland not too far away that are often open past midnight it was a bit odd that you were out of luck come that time of night.
The staff was rude and even lied about the rooms I booked. I had booked a room with double beds only and they gave us a king. I told them I had comfermation that it was double beds and they said it I could not find them and print it out, it was just too bad for me. Luckily, I did find it....it said double beds only....so they finally gave us the room. The staff person to.d me I booked a king...I I to.d him he was wrong and he hung up. It was a bad experience. I had to speak to the manager and the home office and print out the paper that promised me a double bed room before anything was done. Never had such a bad e perience.

When I went to check into my hotel they told me that they are full and don't have my room. I have already paid for the hotel yet they told me they don't have a room with two beds anymore and they only have one king bed room left. This left me speechless because how is it possible to sleep on a king bed with three guests. When I asked the front desk person to let me speak to the manager she tells me, i have to wait 30 minutes and she said that instead i could just take the king bed and be fine with it. Also, another thing she suggested was to get a refund if i don't wanna take the king size bedroom. It was HORRIBLE experience because they over book the revenue of the hotel and people like us gets left with no room.
Walking distance to many restaurants and shops, and the convention center area. Recently remodeled hotel. I've stayed here twice and it's a good value, clean, and comfortable. Nice enough to take your wife, but it's not fancy. It's possible to find street parking instead of paying the $15/night hotel parking.
The hotel is clean and the rooms look modern and up to date. The location in downtown Long Beach is pretty central if you want to be in Long Beach. Two double beds instead of two queens, lots of sound traveling between rooms, not a very good shower, room was on the smaller side, check-in issues were an annoyance and were due to staff's actions. Price quite high for what we got.

Small room, but was very cozy and felt clean. I know it WAS clean, but a hotel room also needs to feel as though it is clean and not 'tired' or worn. This place hit the right notes. Love the building, staff was outstanding and I will stay here again. Cannot think of anything that I did not like.
location - 5 blocks from convention center. I booked a room with a shared bath. Nothing wrong with it, just not for me. Never had to wait. seemed clean, but it was a little dark and cramped, so who knows for sure. Price was right.
It was a great deal, close enough to the convention center, the room was big and nice.
The room was a good size, but that's about where the compliments end. Some of the staff were very friendly, but there seemed to be some neglect of keeping things on track at the front desk. *see the rest of my review* The parking was inadequate to say the least. The flooring in the bathroom was coming up in several places. The beds were VERY loud, so not great when you're trying not to wake up everyone else in the room when you move any bit. The breakfast, while I didn't expect much, was even worse then expected. There was only apples, bananas, some prepackaged danishes, mini super sweet chocolate chip muffins, 2 types of cereal in some plastic storage containers to pour from, and then the breakfast drink in a fountain drink style machine. The pool was unheated, not that I really expected it to be, and for some reason, you weren't allowed to get back to your room, after going in the pool, using the elevator. The walls of the hallway had air pockets in the paint. It seemed like it needed a renovation about 10+ years ago and they're still putting it off. Windows don't really do much to keep out sound or air. The AC never got the room cool at night even when we had it at 60° the entire stay. The elevator was very janky and made weird noises as it slowly moved. There were so many things wrong, I'm sure I'm forgetting many. Also, while I was there, someone came out of the elevator smoking a lit cigarette which made the elevator just a cloud of smoke. I have asthma and smoke highly affects me and I was shocked. I braved the elevator with my shirt over my face and trying to hold my breath as long as possible since I was on the top floor and wasn't able to take the stairs. I then went straight to my room to call the front desk so they could do something about it, and the line was busy. I assumed it was still busy down there seeing as I just came from there, so waited a few minutes and tried again, and got the same thing. I tried a few more times over the next 15-20 minutes and it was a busy tone the whole time. I could see the front desk from my room's window and so I checked to see if it was really that busy right then, and it looked empty other than the worker behind the desk. I saw the guy there not on the phone and had called right before and after I looked out the window and still got nothing. As it was already almost 10 and my friends had already gone to bed; I couldn't keep calling the front desk. When I told them in the morning at check out, they basically said that there is nothing they can do about what people choose to do when they know they're not supposed to do said thing. Maybe they could've if they'd picked up the phone and not left it off the hook. They had video camera too. This seems neglectful of them. I will not be going back for many reasons and do not recommend to others.
Great place to stay when you don't want to spend a lot of money for the hotel. The stuff is extremly friendly and helpful, the pool is clean and refreshing. The location is also good and close to the beach. We felt very comfortable there. The room smelled a little bit strange.

The only good part about our stay at this hotel was that the guy working the front desk when we checked in was very nice and tried to accommodate us as much as he could but he didn't have the authority to refund our money. Dirty... Actually, nasty! Doors and doorknobs weren't working. The wifi worked very little if at all (wouldn't connect 90 percent of the time). Couldn't get refund for such a nasty I cleaned room with non working amenities that are listed in the description. It's basically a trap. A people trap.
Having a refrigerator and microwave oven in the room is often helpful, and the location was pretty central. Yeah, it is not the best area, but that is what it is, and I would never fault the motel owners. There is a great variety of food around! There is a small area where children could play, and it features an Indian Royal Enfield DIESEL motorcycle trike, which I recognized immediately, being a motorcycle enthusiast myself. Thank you for a trouble-free stay! The U.S.S. Iowa and antiques swap-meet were great! David from Ventura
Litterally nothing When we informed them that we were bringing our service dog they magically didnt have any rooms left even though we had prebooked. I told them that they couldnt turn us away for having a service dog and they just kept saying no pets allowed, he is not a pet he is a medically prescribed service dog. It is illegal for them to do this and I have reported them to the bbb.
