Very poor breakfast!
It was very quite and very close to the highway, gas stations, and food. Also, it had a modern tv. The only thing was the tv remote did not work, even with new batteries
Employees were nice. When I went in room it had a horrible musty smell. Went into the bathroom and looked like the toilet was dirty. Closer examination I saw it was the toilet seat had marks on it. We had a baby with us and after crawling on the floor, her feet and legs were black. I was working at the table and when I was done my arms were black also. My friend had a black mark on her face.
Room was neat and comfortable -- our stay, although short, was very pleasant and your staff was very courteous.
I had booked a king bed smoking room and when i got in the room it was a 2 double bed room. The bathroom door had stains all over it and the bathtub had hairs in it. The tv channels were all fuzzy except for 2 were clear.
Great location Hotel was a bit run down. Beds were ok although we were told we would have two queen size beds but they were doubles. Sheets where clean but very thin and worn. I won't be staying here again. You get what you pay for!
Inexpensive, good breakfast. Clean, friendly, central.
The price was good and it was convenient to all things Knoxville. It needs a makeover in a bad way.
Staff friendliness, clean
I couldn't get a shuttle ride to the airport.
Close to shops I needed Needs a up date bad.
Nothing the staff were rude as hell!!! We got told we had to leave at 10:45 the manager came banging on our door telling us it was past 11 and we needed to leave Read above worst place spend $10 more and go somewhere else
Staff excellent Cleanliness
Location, free breakfast, nice, great value
Clean and close to many restraints.
It was a good average room nice colors the bed was good everything was clean we liked it for the money
Staff helped the elderly and made sure their needs were met
I loved the huge pictures over the beds. The room was nice and spacious. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It was conveniently located. I never was able to locate the ice machine.
The lady at the front desk was not very pleasant but the room was good. I have stayed at many a motel and I was actually surprised how nice the room was. It was updated and clean. Cleaner than 90% of other motels. I would stay again.
How easy it was to reserve online, email confirming time location etc. I had to reserve a room for my fiancé and I a week prior for a trip we are taking this stop ended up being a last minute decision so online helped. Just about everything at the hotel. First thing that came out of the front desk clerks mouth when I said I wanted to check in have him my name etc was that he already gave my room away. Like seriously I reserved a room. Drove 9 hours that day didn't need to hear crap. He gave us a different room. And it smelled so bad I'm glad I brought spray. Smelled like liquor and cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. The pillows had stains, tub was rusted. Found a few spiders too. I was done. Never will I go back again probably never go to any days inn.
The value was great!! Staff was great! The rooms are updated, only downfall is he bathroom needed a little bit more work (caulking and such). Bathrooms needed some more work to match the rooms.
access to the highway noise
The price. The pool area actually looked clean and serviceable, although I didn't look closely. The property was filthy, inside and out. The stoops and stairs to the entire block of rooms was caked in dried mud. The room was filthy, un-vacuumed, and disheveled when I arrived. There was junk all over the carpets, they were damp, and were peeling up. There were blood stains on the pillow case. The mattress and box spring were disintegrating. The sheets were not changed for the entirety of my stay (5 nights), despite the room being made-up each day. There were hairs (both long and "short") all over the bathroom and the shower surround. The pressboard furniture was literally crumbling apart. The smoke alarm in the room was beeping incessantly due to a low battery--a clear fire code violation. The staff did not understand or speak one word of English.
The staff was friendly. The reservation was made thrum booking.com and I had no problems with it. Room was one queen bed for$70. It had a kitchenette but the whole sq footage was small. It had a smell like dog but no pets were allowed. Our Pigeon Ford room was 2 queen beds for $70 and was twice the size.
Cleanliness/Professional and friendly staff. Traffic noise from Interstate
Extremely nice staff
Price, location Bathroom not all that clean, crazy people running around making lots of noise late at night. Mediocre breakfast.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Nice breakfast. The wifi was not working.
Great experience most of all very private
The staff was courteous and friendly. The old tired AC wouldn't cool the room and the cover fell off the unit as well. The breakfast was poor quality and small. The curtains were too thin and let a lot of sunlight through.
It was right off the highway The employees were very rude. The room was dirty. Will never stay there agais. Wish I would have never booked there.
Travelling north on I75 and stopped for the night. Lots of restaurant choices nearby and friendly staff (manager). Room is dated and in need of some renovations but overall was exactly what I expected for the price. Free parking and WiFi, good value! Could have been cleaner, stains on carpet and old linens. Don't expect any surprises at breakfast, bagels, cereal, and preformed egg patties (I think that's what they were), standard fare for this type of hotel. Really tough to find the hotel at night.
Location This hotel was dirty. There was hair everywhere on the floor, carpet, pillows, and sheets.
Friendly Staff Not Really
Proximity to restaurants and shopping. There were hairs on our unused towels in the bathroom. The hotel was difficult to find. No clock in the room.
Nicely laid out...very good desk staff and housekeeping team.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
The room I stayed in had laminate flooring, rather than carpet, and it was clean. I stayed on the far end, away from the office, and the wifi was very week; not enough speed to upload photos to the internet.
The price was very cheap. There were multiple bugs killed in our room as well as dirt in the bathroom. When we asked for more towels the desk worker told us we would have to wait over an hour while they cleaned them. Seems odd that a hotel would run out of clean towels. Breakfast was very very slim.
Average cheap 1 night stop over.
Location an price Roaches crawling on walls , spider webs all over the walls , dried urina on toliet could be seen soon as walked in bathroom I had to use my own clorox to clean. The Maintance guy was high on drugs when he came to see about roaches an killed with his hand
Old funrishings. Wi-fi was spotty. Definitely one of the most run-down Econolodges that I've beeen to.
Bugs in bed, cigarette burns in bedspread, no soap No
location ... near highway exit breakfast - just learned that there is breakfast the night after i checked out. was not told/reminded on check in.
The front desk guy was nice. Huge spider in the room.. cigarette holes in the sheets and blankets. Dirty towels. GROSS
The only thing good about the hotel was that it was available during the UT game. NASTY!!!! The room was so nasty. From the time we walked in the door there was a weird smell. Then there was blood, bacon, and some other stuff smeared on the floor. Then one of the beds had stains all over it. We slept on the other bed with shirts on our
convenient on and off the expressway. front night Clerk was friendly Pillows, non formed bottom sheet and with a little bit of TLC this would be a Much place. But if you get a great price it is a super basic place to stay. Otherwise book one of the two star hotels in the same area.
1st room the toilet was clogged and overflowed 2nd room... not set up... now washcloths... no phone to call front desk... mold all around bathroom ceiling... i will NEVER stay at another Econo Lodge
