Competent personnell, nice rooms, good breakfast, free parking on weekends. In our case it was a really good "value for money" ratio as we paid less than we would have paid in a hostel in Helsinki. The only drawback is the distance from the center (app. 7 km) so it is rather recommended for guests with own vehicles.
sauna and big waterpool are nice the personnel seem not to notice me and never made a small introduction to the hotel. I had to pull out the information.
The price - it was the cheapest hotel in Helsinki I could find without having to book a backpackers. I got to try one of their "hotel rooms of the future" which was interesting and quite fun (Room 351 - nature room). But way too many gadgets for me - someone younger and more tech savvy would love it though - giant TV, Apple computer and serious inroom soundsystem and mobile control panel to work everything. The decor was pretty cool too with mood lighting in the ceiling and lots of interesting natural tectures and furnishings. Breakfast buffet pretty good, lots of choice. Staff friendly and helpfull. It was 20 mins out of the city by bus, which I knew when I booked so I was expecting this. Buses every 10mins though so more of an inconvenience than a real problem.
The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were perfect.
Really good hotel with excellent beds. For a Best Western Type Hotel, the cleaneliness of the breakfast tables and the service's standards did not meet the requirements of a standard Best Western Hotel. Tables were not cleaned after each clients. Each client had to personaly bring the dirty dishes back to a specific location.
that it's very close to the center. that it's quite around. fine breakfast. nice stuff.
Nice place, nice staff, very nice breakfast, great fun with a swimming pool
clean and practical room, nice swimming pool and Sauna. nice breakfast and good food in the restaurant. A comfortable hotel with proper facilities for groups. The staff in the 'Haaga Inn' (if that is the correct name of the adjacent restaurant) lacks a bit of a professionalsm. They are kind though, but often young and lacking the properness one could expect. there's a bit of a too casual feeling to that place.
Very convenient location and value combination - hotel situated half way between airport and downtown. Decent breakfast buffet for everyones preferences.
