|Top route||Philadelphia to Orlando|
Everything could have been better nothing was great. My biggest issue is that there were multiple charges throughout the process that are traditionally free. I ended up sending more than I would have with a better airline.
Can we please just have access to wifi and have water be free.
As with most airlines. You get less for more money.
Newer planes being acquired at least have a small tray for working or reading or to set down a drink. Most seats do not recline, and space is tight. If you are over 6' tall consider paying extra for a seat with extra legroom.
The cabin was HOT. We sat there for over 45 minutes with no air.
Thé flight was on time
5 member crew including 1 deadhead. Not sure if he was working but wonder about some of the others. Liquid dripping on passengers and they offered paper towels. A young man who seemed very agitated collapsed into the aisle just before landing and no one moved. Not even deadhead just in front of him. I think he had been overserved and they tried to forget that. Very bumpy landing. Flight attendant offered fresh air, not barf bags. Better than most Frontier flights but not saying much. Won't fly again.
Late like always. Harassed over the new luggage policy even after paying for our bags. Online check constantly badgers you to buy bags, buy the perks, and book extra things like cars and hotels. Don’t bother unless you are traveling on a day trip. After luggage fees you pay more than Southwest with terrible service and always late.
Frontier Airlines got me to where I needed to be with no extra services that I didn’t pay for. They even got me there a full hour early.
It was a quality experience all around. I would fly Frontier again for sure.
A little less than an hour late but could've been worse. Boarding super smooth Helpful crew #Impressed
Received a text saying flight had been delayed by 30 minutes. When I arrived they were boarding at original flight time I was late! No text was sent informing me that original time was the current time.
Likes: price Dislikes: Courteousness, Integrity, Safety (gate agent gave my seat away then blamed me, the security door was closed. She stated that I checked in too late although I had a boarding pass and lied that there were no more seats. Fortunately, an older gate agent was present and took action to print a ticket for me and they reopened the security door. Then they rushed me to get my stuff as I tried to meet the demand. It is clear to me that was indeed happened is that they already calculated the weight as there were additional seats. The problem was resolved and I had an enjoyable flight, but not without unneeded stress.).
This was my first ever time flying with Frontier. It did not get off to a very good start. Our flight was delayed for nearly five hours. To this day, I have no knowledge of the reason for this long delay. The communication was very poor from the airline. I tried to call and get rebooked on another flight however nothing was available for that day. I also tried to call their customer service and the average wait time was 30 to 45 minutes. Unfortunately, this is the type of stuff you would expect from a budget airline. You get exactly what you pay for and not sent more.
Frontier airline is the ultimate budget airline. You get what you pay for with this airline and not a cent more. If you want more frills and glamour, you’ll need to go to a flagship airline like American or United. The flight crew was very nice and respectful. Don’t expect any free snacks. Everything is a grift. Do you want water? You’ll have to pay for it. Do you want snacks? You’ll have to pay for it. If you need to go on a quick trip and you don’t care how you get there, this airline will do. Please understand, if you have a little extra money to spare, you’ll probably be better off flying with another airline. But if you’re on a budget, at least give them a shot.
Friendly service Dislike the delay in flights and inaccurate estimate time for take off
Bare minimum for comfort.
Staff was attentive and friendly. Flight was as expected
Even though I paid for a seat I had to move twice to cheaper seats that were not what I paid for.
We had a great flight! Check-in was swift and easy and boarding and arrival was on time. The price was the best I found. We arrived to our destination safe and sound!
Great flight. I’ve heard mixed reviews so I was nervous. Will definitely use frontier again!
Crew was an hour late.
It was good
I feel that choosing where to sit, should be free. I also feel that small carry on bags on wheels should be allowed aboard the plane for free. I traveled on American Airlines and these 2 items were free of charge. I travel on Frontier Airlines because it starts out reasonable, but when you have to pay for your bags, it gets ridiculous. Then you have to pay for seating or get placed in a seat that doesn't make the ride comfortable. That raises the price right up there with American Airlines. Consider what I am conveying and change what you are offering your consumers. Thank you
Cramped plane, flight staff yells over speaker and very often. Not a relaxing flight. Poor take off and the roughest landing ever. Flight attendants also very loud yelling their personal conversations throughout flight. Tons of kids crammed on flight crying and yelling, maybe make a family section of the plane since we learned kids fly free on frontier. the flight arrived early but plane sat at the gate 45 minutes and then attendants were very slow to get us off the plane. Landed at a different terminal than booked so the entire plane of people had to take airport transportation bus (so had to wait for multiple buses) to the right terminal to get back to our parked car. We paid terminal parking to avoid this step. That was wasted. All together we got home 2 hours later than expected. Baggage off the plane was slow too. No snack or drink on board, no WiFi, no charging ports on board.
All was wonderful.
Engine noise was very high , lending was not smooth .
Flight was delayed 2 hours and weren’t notified until we were at the gate. We found out later that the two flights before ours on our plane were delayed so they had plenty of time to tell us. Once we finally land we waited 45min for our checked bag- that cost $100 and it was 2:15 in the morning. Will never fly this airline again.
the checkin process was a nightmare, too many people trying to check in and not enough workers to process them. Luckily we were early for our return flight as we had to wait 3 hours in line, it was exhausting to say the least. I will think twice before booking with Frontier again.
On board Frontier flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 60x40x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Frontier assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Frontier offers direct flights to 111 cities in 13 different countries. Orlando, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas are the most popular cities covered by Frontier.
Frontier concentrates most of its flight operations in Orlando.
KAYAK is a travel search engine, meaning that we continuously look across the web to find the best deals for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from all airlines, including Frontier.
Focusing predominantly on domestic travel within the United States, Frontier flies to smaller regional locations as well as large cities. Controlling operations from a hub in Denver, the airline reaches more than 105 locations across the United States. Services are also available to international vacation destinations in Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.
Frontier operates as an ultra-low-cost carrier with competitive prices and direct single-leg trips. Fares are kept low by sacrificing luxuries, such as in-flight entertainment devices, while meals and drinks can be purchased as extras. It is a subsidiary of IndiGo Partners, which also controls JetSMART, Volaris, and Wizz Air. A codeshare agreement is held with carrier Volaris, expanding the possible connections between Mexico and the United States.
It is possible to sit in either Economy or Stretch (their version of Premium Economy). The chairs are not designed to recline, meaning the person in front of you won’t encroach on your space. Seats in the Stretch section have roughly an extra 5 in of legroom and a large pull-out tray that is ideal for working on a laptop.
Exclusively Airbus aircraft are chosen for the fleet, with Frontier preferring narrow-body jets like the A320 family. One of the most commonly flown models is the A320neo, which has tremendous fuel efficiency and can carry approximately 186 passengers. The planes have distinctive animals painted on the tails and are all unique images. Among the animals featured are rabbits, dolphins, bears, sea otters, and penguins. The names of the characters appear underneath the cockpit windows.
