Excellent customer service
For us it was a "new experience" as it was our first time to Cusco. Get to know new place to stay Given the facilities and location and that it really caters for tourists, very much over priced
Attentive staff like I've never seen before. Taking care of every need and going above and beyond to make you happy. The hotel is a little old and could probably use a face lift.
Location, view At checkin, Roger sat us down and energetically told us our room was not ready (we were early) and suggested we upgrade. I said no, so he asked me if we "really wanted" the room we had reserved. I explained we were tired from the long trip and asked if he could watch our bags and we would return later. He persisted in excitedly selling the upgrade. At checkout, no one could explain why I was charged 40 dollars more than what was listed on the bill. (The visa receipt did not match the folio) Of course it was the 10 percent charge at checkout that does appear in the booking email. These games were surprising at an spg hotel. .Everyone Was very nice while they created a sense of confusion that (of course) costs the traveler money. (I am sure worse for those who speak no spanish).
We loved the lobby and historic charm, wonderful breakfast, great location where you can walk to everything and delicious restaurants near by. The rooms were large, comfy and beautiful. Overall I would stay here again and recommend the hotel. They don't have dual temperature control so without AC we were very uncomfortable while sleeping. We opened our window and it does get chilly at night but we were at ground level facing an alley way therefore no breeze. We requested a fan which helped but it was loud.
Really enjoyed my stay here!
The hotel is a very nice four-star establishment. Very well maintained facilities, and a wonderful friendly staff. It is located on Ave. Sol and across the street from the Central Craft Market and a small park. Ave. It has an excellent restaurant and lobby bar. The facilities are great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This area of town seemed very safe to us and we did not hesitate to walk through the area at night. Overall, I greatly recommend visiting Cusco and staying at this hotel. It really is a very nice place to stay.
amazing staff great location right next to the historical center and ruins beautiful room comfortable bed perfect shower There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel! it was one of my favorites from the whole trip!
AC didnt work
Clean hotel and well situated in Cusco Room temperature was way too hot for comfortable sleeping. Room did not contain thermostat.
The hotel was very clean and the staff overall were very helpful. The location is also great since it's next to the San Pedro market and on a quiet street. Our room did not have a window, and it was very easy to hear noise in the hallway and dining room.
WORKING INTERNET. Internet is really hard to get in Cusco, but the Terra Andina has it. The wifi only reached to a corner of our room on the 2nd floor, but that's fine: it worked really well when connected. We have to work while we travel, and other hotels have been severely frustrating for us. The staff is very helpful with printing out some documents and answering questions. The restaurant is way too overpriced to actually go to, but that's the only downside I can see. Great place, would stay again.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The checkout time was at 9 am, which is way too early, Ave there was no internal lock on the door.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Upgraded our room. I got a suspicious feeling when I wanted to extend our stay but they said the rate would have to go up as 'there were no other rooms available'. When I checked online, all of their room types were listed as available, at still at the lower rate.
Hotel is built around a series of beautiful courtyards. It has a good location. Good service.
Just Okay hotel. Not too pricy, and in a fairly good location. the restaurant in the hotel was also nice and satisfying. Unlike all other hotels I stayed in Peru the Wi-Fi in rooms was in additional charge although my understanding at the time or reservation was that Wi-Fi will be offered as a complimentary service, not only in the shared space but also in room. Also, all others hotel offered complimentary two bottles of water due to poor water quality, however in this hotel the bottles were offered was an extra charge which was also disappointing. There was a heater in the room but it wasn't working. The socket was burnt and unusable.
Location! Very close to main Square and major attractions! Old towels and furniture! Some of the rooms are very small! I had to change my room because of that!
Great location, around the corner from Plaza de Armas. Comfortable room, clean, good value.
Very helpful portering staff and excellent tour company as part of the hotel. Room comfortable but basic; Buffet breakfast a little disappointing and supper one night was just ok. Always someone available to speak some English which was very helpful
Friendly staff, clean rooms. Internet didn't work in rooms (we stayed in two different rooms, neither had wifi connection, despite the hotel saying there was access everywhere), extremely loud -- both street noise and other guests, restaurant closed one night for a "private party" (it was an unfortunate coincidence that we planned to eat at the hotel that night), no bags in room for laundry service, provided bottled water that required bottle opener, but there was no opener in the room, delivered someone else's laundry to our room. We spent less on a Radisson in Lima, and it was way, way nicer than this place.
Balcony on the Plaza de Armas (not every room); absolutely the best location; peaceful interior. Free luggage storage while you are away on trek. The Plaza has street noise at night and cranks up quite early some days. When we were there, it got noisy at 6.30 am on a Sunday morning for the annual Cusco festival.
Location, location, location. Decent breakfast. Free luggage storage. Late night and early morning nose from the Plaza.
Mario the Bell/Door/Jack-of-all-Tradesman was fabulous and very attentive. The artwork and fireplace in restaurant are awesome. Our first night was in an Attic Room that did not have window and bathroom not updated. Our other 2 nights were in a beautiful room with bay window and modern bathroom.
Hotel Rumi Punku is located on a small side street only 2 or three blocks walk from the Plaza de las Armas. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. I stayed at the hotel for one night prior to and one night after an Inca Trail trek. The hotel made luggage storage very convenient by having me simply pack my bags and leave them in the room when I checked out after the first evening and had already placed my belongings in my new room when I returned for the second evening. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely recommend Rumi Punku and would not hesitate to stay there again should I return to Cusco.
This was a beautiful hotel in a real nice location and the staff was positively wounderfull and would love to return great place Stupid dog barking at 3 am
I was very impressed with the quality and style of this hotel. Upon arriving in Cusco and being greeted by their staff, I felt valued and appreciated. My partner and I needed to doo the four day Inca trail and the staff were helpful in storing our things and even keeoing our room available for our last night in Cusco. Lovely interiors, good breakfast, and a sense of safety prevailed in our stay there.
Unbelievable nice & attentive staff, charming & clean rooms, very close (5 mins walk) to the center (Plaza des armas), yet very quiet (basically no traffic noise)
The hotel is well located, just 10 minutes away by foot from the Plaza de Armas. The hotel staff were very accommodating and organised bus tickets from Cusco to Puno for us which was handy. The breakfast was average to good with a choice of breads, fruits, cereals, cold meats, cheese, sausages and eggs. In the reviews I read that some of the rooms have windows which look out onto the stairways and aisles and for some people this caused privacy issues. While this is true the windows can be closed and covered with curtains so it really isn´t something to worry about. Our room also had a view of the mountains which was a bonus. Upon arrival at the hotel the staff prepared Coca leaf tea's for us which I believe is a standard service. We have no complaints about our stay in this hotel.
Hotel was extremly nice, we liked the traditional architecture with the patio. Room were confortable with everything you need. Laundry service only cost 7 soles per kilo so we were able to clean everything there. They keep also your luggages for free if you go to visit Macchu Picchu or Sacred Valley. No complain at all.
Hotel was modern and very clean.
limpio, cuartos amplios, free internet, since it is a hotel in a tourist city of cusco, i think that the personnel should be knowledgeable of things to do in and around the city, especially since the guests will most likely be tourists that want to know what to do... for example noboday told us about the city tours, and when we found out about it, we asked at the front desk, and they did not know the times, or where to get tickets, etc... also, they did not know about kusikay show... i had to go online to find out all the details... sometghing they should have the information readily available... this lack of knowledge of things to do in the area is something that should be included and should be improved by the hotel...
spa was good, very kind people windows were not so well done...wind can come inside the room
Clean, spacious, great staff
Very helpful and friendly staff, and a nice relaxing building design
