We did not find the car rental agency at the airport in Algiers. We spent a long time searching and finally had to take a taxi to our destination. The following morning we checked an address in Algiers but couldn’t find the agency. We took another taxi back to the airport in case we missed the rental desk or the agency had perhaps closed before we got there but without success. We checked both terminals. As no cars were available we had to take another taxi to get to our destination about 120 km away. So it was a very bad experience making me very reluctant to try Hertz or carrentals.com again. It ruined our arrival and cost us a half day and the cost of the taxis. Travellers beware.
