Pros: Very friendly staff, good breakfast and close to access Aosta Pila for skiing.
Cons: The air outside at night smelled like wood oven. This made it hard to get fresh air into the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast and clean facilities.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our holiday here. Thank you!
6.7 Good

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very positive staff, well cleaned, cosy common areas and a warm pool. Café open and possibility to rent bicycles.
Cons: Might woul be a gym or some yoga mats. The wooden planks on the balcony left small stitches.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location very high in the mountains, beautiful views all around, friendly staff and great for walkers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the views and the nature surrounding the hotel. Its in a beautiful location. The breakfast was amazing, so fresh and yummy especially the pastries and croissants .. so yum !!! We went for our honeymoon and we are not into hiking but we absolutely did a-lot of paths around the hotel and its absolutely beautiful. The staff are really kind and super helpful. The outdoor pool is amazing with the views and heated is a big plus. Highly recommend this hotel!!! We visited beginning September and would love to visit during winter season.
7.9 Good
Pros: Extremely friendly staff, beautiful location and surroundings, great restaurant with very good dinner (not to be missed)
Cons: Simple rooms, not too many different hiking trails, wellness area could be extended/renewed (also no towels available) - everything ok for a 3-star Hotel, but then it was a bit expensive (but it was also high season)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely food and facilities. Could have stayed longer
Cons: Long windy road approx 7 miles to the hotel which can be difficult for some drivers/ riders but worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spot, mountings view, swimming pool with warm water, welcoming English speaking staff. Great respect for chief of restaurant for unusual and tasty meals.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room was amazing. The location is right at the foot of the walking trails which makes it very good for exploring the park. Relaxing by the pool and spa area made the afternoons very enjoyable. The staff were kind and always happy to help out.
Cons: The food quality was amazing however, there was little choice in terms of variety of food types. After a long day hiking the trails I would like a hearty meal yet the portion sizes were small and almost not what you would expect from a hotel like this. The food would be more fitting in a 5 star hotel.
Hotel L' Aiglon - Champoluc - Building
3
9.1 Excellent (443 reviews)
AED 551+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel L'Aiglon places you in the heart of Ayas, steps from Val d'Ayas and Monterosa Ski. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and an elevator. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast great. Lots of choice plus delicious scrambled eggs and bacon. The sauna and jacuzzi always a massive plus point at the end of a days skiing.
Cons: I would have liked a bath rather than a shower. Perhaps the decor in reception and bar etc could do with a make-over. They could make more of this space - perhaps a wood burner/ more cozy vibe.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was amazing and the staff were lovely
Cons: Dated facilities and very bad value- too expensive
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food and service
Cons: the hair dryer in the room and the spa was a bit small
7.0 Good
Cons: Room above our room was very noisy, with young children stamping on the floor. Also room was next to the night door, with people leaving with their suitcases at 3.30 AM.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful with activities, transfers etc.
Cons: Rooms a little dark with poor lighting
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great family team ...
Cons: Nothing maybe softer pillows as an option....
7.3 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, room of good size with enough space for baby bed. Perfectly clean. The location is perfect, off the main street in Champoluc, with shops, coffee-shopts, restaurants, minimarkets, all over, sky-lifts less than 5 mins walk away. The main street has been newly paved with stones, and has no traffic (access by car is restricted to residents and hotel residents). In my opinion, probably the best location were to stay in Val d'Ayas. Everything you need daily and in the evening available within walking distance, and anything else available with a short drive. Parking spot available in the hotel garage.
Cons: Perhaps temperature in the room too high for me - with no possibility of tuning it (it is regulated for the whole building). I wish the hotel provided wireless internet access - the only internet access was available at a computer in the main lounge.
7.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable hotel located in the main street of Champoluc not far from the ski lifts, nice interior design, garage under the hotel, staff ready to help, safe big enough for DSLR camera and netbook, sauna...
Cons: No wi-fi, just one computer with [expensive] connection to the Internet. I think, in the year 2010 wi-fi is a must and it should be free for the guests of the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, location, nice breakfast, good coffee, very nice room at a very reasonable price.
Cons: Nothing to dislike here.
6.7 Good
Pros: Big clean rooms
Cons: The dinner was mediocre unless you ordered the pizza then it was fine. Breakfast consisted of a lot of sugary products like biscuits. No fruit or healthy options. Also no milk to be seen to use with the cereal. Coffee tasted awful.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Beds were not good. Felt the springs on my back.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very clean place in a good location. Reasonable breakfast. Convenient for mont blonc route.
Cons: The air conditioner was an impressive ornament which did nothing. Wi fi almost non existent in the bedrooms, and only had a good signal in the breakfast room next morning. The toilet seat was hanging off. Although it stated that english was spoken some of the restaurant staff would not/could not speak english and if it had not been for my understanding of french we would have struggled.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice food, I am a vegetarian and they made a cheese platter ( not on the menu) as an appetizer. Delicious cakes for breakfast. We were on our way back home, the hotel is close to the highway so a perfect location for an overnight stop.
Cons: Bathroom is a little outdated, but OK.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great rate, and perfect room. Nice new interior above a pizzeria that was perfect for dinner with kids. Included breakfast was better then other hotels we’ve stayed at in the region.
Ellex Hotel - Champoluc - Building

Overview Reviews
When you a stay at Ellex Hotel in Gressoney-la-Trinite, you'll be near ski runs, just steps from Gressoney Ski Area and Monterosa Ski. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our triple room was a good size, with very big bathroom, a lovely balcony and fantastic views. The views from the breakfast room were the same, and the variety and quality of food at breakfast was fantastic. There was a lovely lounge area, with a log burner, which was so cosy in the evening. The furniture and ambience of that room were excellent, so much so, that a couple of evenings we stayed in and had bar snacks and wine rather than going out to local restaurants.
Cons: Only one tiny thing! We went to the wellness centre, which was very nice, but the jacuzzi could have been slightly warmer
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely but the coffee didn't live up to the billing of previous guests!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times and hours. Nothing was too much trouble for them to organise or help out with. Fabulous relaxing atmosphere. Cosy communal sitting areas and a staffed bar.
Cons: No snow shovel on premises to be able to clear snow from car wheels
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fine and service was good
Cons: The hotel is at a top of a small hill, Its only a 5 minute walk but seemed to get all of us out of breath. Good exercise though and couldn't be avoided
Hotel La Rouja - Champoluc - Bedroom
6
9.0 Excellent (187 reviews)
AED 411+

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel! Very clean and the towels were extra fluffy! All staff were very friendly and accommodating despite our lack of Italian
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The suite was large, comfortable, and clean, with a nice shower/bathroom. The staff was genuine, warm, and attentive, and the restaurant was very nice. The receptionists were helpful and kind.
Cons: Just one small detail. The wifi did not reach the tavern. Easy to improve.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was superb in every way and run with warmth and profesionalism by a young married couple. It is decorated in a contemporary alpine style with lots of exposed wood. There are a couple of areas to sit and a lovely bar in the basement. With only 22 rooms the hotel never feels too busy and rooms very peaceful. Our room was very large by ski hotel standards and immaculately clean and stylish. Great bathroom. We ate in the hotel most nights at a very reasonable price and enjoyed excellent food and wine. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of food for all tastes. All the staff were helpful, very efficient and very welcoming. And all of this at a very affordable price, much more so than the French alps!! We were there for a ski trip and the hotel have an arrangement (no charge) for leaving skis and boots at a ski hire shop immediately next to the Champoluc Gondola. Probably the hotel we have stayed in in a ski resoprt. We will definitely go back. Thank you La Rouja
Cons: The coffee in the morning had a slightly unusual taste, almost as if the coffee beans had been burnt. But this is a very very small niggle in an otherwise superb ski hotel.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly. The food was great and the location convenient
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was simply outstanding, the hosts were incredibly nice and helpful and the location is great. We would absolutely recommend this place.
Cons: About the only negative thing one might say is that the hotel shows its age a bit. It is very well kept and clean, but travelers looking for a modern design of the rooms might want to look elsewhere. However, this also makes some of the charm of the place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone and Everything.
Cons: The Car Parking for the guest, suppose to be free of Charge.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location in charming place, free shuttle to the lifts in the morning, ski-in from the slopes. Skiing area fantastic and not very crowded. Hosts are warm, friendly and extremely caring, ready to answer to all Your questions at any time of the day. Breakfast rich and eggs with bacon were very delicious. Thank You Louisa and Alesio for wonderful family week in Your house!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: this family run establishment provides first class service, we were picked up from gressoney frequently , given excellent advice and always felt a sense of warmth and care towards us as guests. Louisa is a charming host, breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Love the ski in option , well positioned for both reaching the ski area in the morning and getting to the local village of gressoney which is very sweet and has enough choice of restaurants/bars/cafes for a one week stay
Cons: I think we misunderstood what a “residence" was. It is not a hotel but rather a well serviced building of managed apartments. So no communal hot tub after skiing and a small lounge area and minimal apres atmosphere as everyone retreats to their own apartments. Ski room not so well heated, we totally missed that it was actually out of town and not really walkable [no issue if you have a car but we did not] with a good but not that frequent bus service. I think being able to walk around by being located the village was what I most missed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of my room, the host and staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. The well-being centre was a delight to use
Cons: I had no problems
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staffs/hosts there are extremely friendly and helpful

Pros: Breakfast was great. Piste to the door
7.5 Good
Pros: location and view
Cons: small flat
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing. They made you feel like a local with great insider tips and advice.
6.7 Good
Pros: good kitchen facilities in the room. good location, but a car is advisable as it's a bit of a drive to the ski lift and to town in the evening for dinner.
Cons: no return transportation for the ski lift at the end of the day and not enough snow to ski out.

9.1 Excellent (62 reviews)
AED 474+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Bellevue places you in the heart of Ayas, steps from Val d'Ayas and Monterosa Ski. Featured amenities include luggage storage, a library, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. It's in the middle of a long street leading up to a gondola. I had friends staying in a hotel opposite the gondola where there was a lot of noise from pubs/music through the night to the early hours. The Hotel Bellevue is a 5 min walk from the gondola but in a quiet location. I generally do not eat breakfast so cannot comment on the food but the staff checked I knew that breakfast was available. I also switched off the heating and again they checked I had meant to do so in case I found it too cold. Would stay there again if I went back to Champoluc. Only 1.5hrs from Turin Airport and 2hrs to Milan. Must be very beautiful in the summer.
Cons: No complaints.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really nice staff in the restaurant, and in reception.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location near the ski lifts. Breakfast excellent!
Cons: Room a little dusty in places.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. 3* hotel with everything to a very high standard. Great mountain views and central location
7.2 Good
Pros: Federica and Gabriele who own and run the hotel made us feel so welcome. The hotel is very cosy with a comfortable bar to sit and relax with a drink after a good day's skiing. The children (8 & 11) loved the hotel.

6.7 Good
Pros: The price and cleanliness.
Cons: The staff seemed stressed and a bit annoyed. Smiling and friendliness to customers should be a core competency for hospitality staff. We didn’t sleep at all. The bed was so firm it was like a rock. The pillows were overused, lumpy and flat.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was always brilliant Hot option of scrambled eggs and bacon then pastries cold meats and cheese. Choice of jams and toast. Lovely breakfast served by a very kind obliging lady called Roberta. Our contact with Ludovica who served our dinner and drinks in the bar was great, she was extremely helpful and answered all our queries enthusiastically and with very good humour. She was an accomplished linguist with perfect English French Spanish and I believe some Russian!
Cons: The location was at the very edge of town so we didn’t venture out in the evenings. However the hotel had a shuttle bus to run us in to the lifts in the morning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, spacious room, very good shower, nice view from the balcony (room 6).
Cons: Hotel is situated quite a bit of distance from the gondola.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good size room. Quiet location. Fantastic breakfast and very friendly staff. Spa facilities were a welcome treat.
5.3 Okay
Pros: The ski slopes above Champoluc are good; long well groomed runs which however do not share the same fame as Megeve or Verbier. Reflecting the modest profile of the region, Le Petit Arbri is a functional friendy hotel with an Italian family atmosphere. It is situated a bit away from the village centre, but this ensures a quiet night's sleep.
7.7 Good
Pros: Staff were excellent, hotel was spotless.
Cons: Food could be more varied i.e. Cater for vegetarians (not that I'm one but companion was)
6.8 Good
Pros: Very peaceful location. Cleanliness of the hotel, warm and friendly atmosphere..
Cons: Hotel locates off the main street, bit tricky to find.
7.6 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful family team running the hotel.
Cons: None
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful, they made us feel welcome. Had information on the area of Champoluc.
Cons: The meals were not very filling.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location- just above village, forest night stillness, birdsong, view both down valley and up to Monte Rosa, but just 8mins walk from tele-cabine. Lovely family care, genuine family kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing, relaxing stay!! Friendly and helpful staff, cosy room, extremely comfortable beds, great food.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel gave us a room with a wonderful view. We could see Monte Rosa right from our bed. I think this hotel, and that room was a only place which have that kind of view in this town. Surroundings were queit and beautiful. Hotel itself was totally made of wood, so it is romantic, beautiful, but because of the material, it is a bit creaky when you walk, and it cannot block the sound from alley or neighbor room, but it can be tolerated to stay in such a wonderful place. Dinner was satisfactory, and the price was really reasonable. The wine we drank was only 1 euro expensive than the price we bought in the supermarket. Staff were really kind and helpful. We will definitely go there again!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly atmosphere. Comfortable beds and delicious food
Cons: My room was a bit dark
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cosy home/family run feel. Breakfast was excellent
Cons: Evening meal of home-made good is offered which is great, but to really make this place shine, the qualitycoukd be increased to a restaurant level

The spa is complete with hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath. There is also a library with games and toys for children, and a free ski deposit. The restaurant specialises in local dishes, and the Irish pub on site serves the best draught beers until late. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel and very good location just steps to the lifts. Nice spa and friendly staff.
Cons: The food was shockingly bad. We had pasta and were very surprised at how awful it was specially when you are in Italy you dont expect that quality of food. They had opened a tin and microwaved it!!!!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very well located with respect to lifts. Room nice, comfortable and clean. Food OK and personnel very nice (especially the waiters attending breakfast/dinner, but all of them in general).
Cons: The downhill path to leave the ski room (about 20m long) on the way to the lifts was icy and slippery. Considering it hadn’t snowed for days, it could have been cleaned IMO. Reported to reception, they agreed with me, but day after was still the same. WiFi in the room was not working most of the time (working OK in lobby and restaurant).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place with great hosts. It is a perfect place for rest, as well as you would like do ski, hike, climb, do ski-touring (station of 2 cable-cars is in 2 minutes distance) or just have same pleasant and easy time. Very nice spa space where you can regenerate after busy days. And wonderful kitchen with homemade meals with local products. And most of all - what I mention at the beginning, wonderful and friendly host.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was amazing. Manuela and her family/staff make you feel really welcome. The food spot on every night, with a good choice for every taste. The wine list has a lot of locally sourced wines. We did not have a bad bottle, it really opened our eyes to the amazing wines of the Aosta Valley. The breakfast was great, the rooms comfortable and of a very high standard. There is a nice games room for the kids. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. The spa is very relaxing after a days snowboarding! Also, it is 2 minutes walk from the chair lift and bus stop. Grazie Manuela!
Cons: Could not find fault with the place
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel, good location, good climate inside the rooms and common areas, very beautiful wellness area with amazing view on surrounding mountains, kind personnel and kind owners. I only stayed one night with my son and brother for skiing, but the hotel definitely deserves a longer holiday, I deem in every season. Greatly Satisfied
Cons: Wi-fi access was not fully available
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A typical Italian hotel. Employees are warm and polite. They do their best for your comfort. Food is very good.
Cons: Internet connection was weak at the first day. But they solved the problem quickliy, the next day.
