Pros: Good breakfast. At some point we were the only ones there, so they served breakfast in the room and we were told we could choose whatever we wanted. Amazing service. Great location, clean and spacious room.
Cons: One time there was no one at the front desk when we came back at night and we had to wait and ring the doorbell a few times until someone showed up.

Pousada Manú is a bright turquoise guesthouse in the scenic Canela countryside. It is 7 km from the picturesque Caracól Waterfalls, and 500 metres from the town centre. The bright rooms at Pousada Manú have light laminated floors, flowered bedding and plenty of natural light. All are equipped with a TV, minibar and private balcony, and have en suite bathrooms. A breakfast buffet with fresh juices, seasonal fruits and pastries is served daily. For dining, Canela offers several lively restaurants and bars for guests to choose from. Pousada Manú offers free parking for guests with private transportation.

Pros: There is a large parking area, many birds around, the staff are quite friendly.
Cons: The hot water for the shower was not working so we had to take a cold shower. There are no blinders for the windows and the lights just outside of the room are on until late; so it’s quite disturbing to sleep. The location is fine only if you have a car. Otherwise it’s quite too far from the city centre.

Pros: Price on the surface initially but not worth the bother as it not value for money at all.
Cons: Had a horrendous experience being woken up after a long 6hr drive to hotel at 4:09am as the room above mine checked in at that time and they proceeded to carry on making noise. I was unable to sleep since 4:09 despite ringing reception twice to complain. Got no feed back at all no solution to it and therefore had to get up and go down to reception to find this out. The personnel in the breakfast room were incredibly unhelpful with an unprofessional could not careless attitude when I point out at the poor quality of their food. Basically junk cheap junk. Most unappetizing and undoubtedly unhealthy. Even the coffee was not fresh and with a horrendous taste. Most certainly would not recommend it!!

Pros: The family room is really comfortable and with enough space for up to 6 people.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. The best part though, is that it was served on the top floor with a beautiful view.
Cons: You could hear what was going on in the hallway when the door was closed, and the hallway light would shine under the door into our room at night.
