The Kameha is an overall good hotel for business travelers, clean, fast, free internet access and spacious rooms. I have been coming here for a while and under a previous management service was a bit ostentatious. This has improved under the new management significantly and one feels honestly welcome now. I don't care for the beds. The mattresses could be more comfortable and I wish they would offer down pillows instead of the ones with artificial filling. I also wish the Rhine River bar would open again as the hotel lags a welcoming place to have a drink at the end of a hard working day.
The hotel staff r just amazing.. And I really loved the hotel design.. Refreshing..
What a stunning place !. We stayed here on the last night of a tour round Germany as a treat to ourselfs & what a treat. This has to be one of the best hotels anywhere. Ultra modern with the finest of decor, superb staff & facilities we were blown away by the whole experience. We were given a free upgrade which was unexpected & treated so well by the staff who advised us on every thing from city siteseeing, local restaraunts (they do have there own) to the best way to get around. It may not be the cheapest of hotels by a long way but you most certainly get what you pay for. If you want to spoil yourself (just the once) then see if you can get an offer on a stay at kameha grand, you wont be dissapionted !. Parking should be free of charge considering what you pay for a room but it seems you pay everywhere in Germany for hotel parking.
beautiful rooms and hotel design, helpful staff, great breakfast parking is expensive - parking yourself is more than valet
well... the hotel itself is impresive from outside but the designers probably do not know the psychology.... e.g. red color corridors ... it is good for one day but after 3 days I was very depressed
the design; staff were very helpful & the food was delicious. The all red decoration in the corridors was too oppressive.
That we had an own entrence to our room
The wanderful location, in the middle of the park. The big, modern and confortable room. The lobby, the library room, the restaurant/bar/breakfast room. Very confortable and agreable hotel. A pity there is no internet in the room! No internet in the room. All the rest, wonderful!
Wonderful facility. Location couldn't be surpassed. Restaurant was exquisite. Excellent value. Room well done. Refined atmosphere. Not really.
Ambience. The staff were great and the guy in the restaurant helped us with the menu by translating to english. Plenty of parking. Quiet area, very peaceful and relaxed.
Thank you! Very happy to have my time in this hotel! Thank to man in the reception and to the girl.
Location & food room was filthy never seen a vacuum cleaner for weeks !
There is a beautiful park close to the hotel. It may not be suitable for passengers without a car.
Location & hotel surroundings. Evening meal on the patio was great. Room cleaning - maids came too early. When we told them to come later they never appeared. Room did not have tea/coffee facilities. Towels were very poor - thin and small - urgent need to replace these!
The room and food were excellent.
The hotel was so quiet.Breakfast was good. Internet service was so bad.In entrance there was no ramp for carring the luggages. The tv for this kind of hotel was poor. There was no minibar.
Hotel Zur Post is clean, cosy and gives good value for money.
room was comfortable and clean. Facilities were excellent. Breakfast was also great each day.
Staff went out of their way trying to be helpful. Breakfast was great and the dining room and reception were lovely!
Excellent meals and roomy comfortable rooms Hotel was not easy to identify when driving to it, little to no parking, need to walk outside from buildings to restaurant.
The hotel was excellent in terms of location, staff and facilities. Rooms were very nice with lots of space. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.
We booked this hotel because we wanted to spend most of our time in Cologne, so would be a place only to sleep. However it was a great surprise, the staff was really helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, so delicious. More than that, it was cheaper than Ibis. If you are by car and want to visit Cologne, this place is the best choice.
the owner the extra charge for the internet
big rooms, parking available standard dull hotel interior
Helpful, intelligent staff who were quick to see your needs and a splendid, wide-ranging breakfast selection. It was within five minutes of frequent tram connections into Bonn and only 20 minutes from the Cologne/Bonn Airport. Rooms had recently been refurbished to the highest standards with large bathroom and bedroom. Could have done with a little more drawer space.
Very friendly resteraunt staff - real "home from home" No coffee making facilities in room. Not essential but nice to have.
Nice hotel staff.Breakfast was OK. I was hearing the trains passing during the night.
The room was clean, a reasonable size and comfortable.
The owner of the hotel is very hands on and friendly and I enjoyed speaking with him. He was helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. It was a bit further out of the city centre than the website led me to believe and my bathroom was a bit small. I really liked the host but the hotel was just too far out of town to be convenient for me as I was there for business.
Close to transport [rail to Airport and Koeln city; tram to Bonn. Clean and welcoming. Breakfast was fixed menu and served promptly; good
The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything The rooms are a bit dated
The hotel is right next to the Bonn-Bueul station and has handy tram stops which take you into central Bonn (10 min) close by. The Bonn-Bueul station is a quick ride away from the Bonn/Cologne airport, and I was seeing a show at Halle Bueul (a 10 min walk away) so location-wise it was perfect.
The room was clean. The hotel does not have non-smokers rooms. I first was given a room that was really stinking from cigarettes. After a complained ("We have no non-smokers rooms) I received a room that "only" smelled of cigarettes and I could bear it with open windows. But trains, trams and busses are passing all night... Last but not least the sanitation: The room had no sink to wash hands after going to the toilette. Also there was only one towel (for drying your bum after showering and then your mouth after the teeth brushing).
I particularly liked the family atmosphere. Mr Willkens himself could not have been more pelasant.
Very friendly and helpful personnel and directly located at the trainstation. Perfect Hotel to avoid extreme expensive hotels in Koln or Dusseldorf during exhibitions !
Good services, quite helpful, No Meal n Dinner service within the hotel, No good vegetarian options...
