Cons (-) Some areas need updating -- for example, the rug in the elevator of building #4 is terrible.
Pros (+) The location was excellent. View of the water was gorgeous. Breakfast was pretty good (continental - eggs, breads, pastries, fruit). Considering the cost in that area, this was an excellent value.
Cons (-) The hotel is a bit dated and the rooms were not that clean (okay, but could have used a bit more TLC). You will hear your neighbors above you (walking). Staff was not very forthcoming with information. For example, there is a free shuttle to Bar Harbor that leaves from the hotel which I found out about only by accident - not because anyone told me.
