Cons (-) Expensive at breakfast they charge you for every cup of coffee. Each time it was used the toilet in our room had to be flushed at least twice.
Pros (+) Went to check in but we had to wait an hour cause their computers were down. They gave us a free drink at the bar so that was nice. Felt the room was dusty especially in the washroom. Staff was friendly.
Cons (-) Gym needs updating and pool was only 4.5 deep.
Pros (+) Great location, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy walk to Queen street shops, restaurants, Sky tower, and Auckland harbor. Just used it as a base camp to visit things around the city. Easy bus from the airport (35 min), bus stop 2 blocks from hotel. No need to rent a car.

Pros (+) The hotel let me check in at 8 am, after having flown all night from San Francisco. This was fantastic and made my day!
