Boarded two hours late because we waited for one passenger, then had to wait further to take the luggage of one passenger off the plane. Waited two hours after the plane took off for meal service to start (it was a late flight), and there was barely any opportunity to sleep between the constant overhead messages (including several ads for the duty free - some when people were trying to sleep.) cabin crew was very nice, but the lights mostly stayed on during the overnight flight and they were talking very loudly behind the curtain. Made it impossible to actually sleep.
Comfortable flight with good food and drink served with a smile. My only complaint if I’m being picky is they only had one or two new releases in the movie selection
You billed me 70 £ for an oversized carry on… I’ve had the recognized size bag for 5 years and travelled all over the world with no problems… why weren’t you just honest and say we don’t have enough space in the overhead bins and ship it through… my wife had the same size case and she could bring hers on…I asked why.. no answer from the booking agent.. just my boss told me too.. she was rude also.. I’ll ever travel air transat again. Thankyou
The staff was much nicer than the flight Nice to Montreal.
I felt the Flight Attendant was rude!! The person sitting behind me kept pushing my seat.
The cabin temperature was too warm to be comfortable
Left 1.5 hours late. Crew were .5 hours late. Plastic wine glass had a crack in it and I ended up with half a bottle of red wine in my lap. Water on plane was not fit to drink - at least we were warned by the cabin staff. Flight attendants were very good.
Nightmare checking in coming back from Rome as they use local crew that are not Transat employees. Were trying to make us pay almost €200 to check carry-on bags that we’d brought with us on the flight from montreal with no issues and were so rude. Flight itself was fine after a lot of arguing at check-in.
Always comfortable aboard AirTransat, it has now become our preferred airline when going to Europe.
Really, I bought emergency exit for more comfort is more uncomfortable than the std seat that I had when I back. Airline put 1 more line of seats ... Usually that plane is for 2-3-2 and they make it a 3-3-3 . If you are a big person just think on choosing that airline and for money now is almost the same if you pay the $340 plus for choosing "good" places and the end are the same.
Entertainment - total miss, very poor selection! Service - sending confusing messages at end of flight, seating people after arriving and not let people with connecting flights get out of plane with priority.
Flight was delayed 2hrs on start! From the beginning nothing was explained why? Checking in was extremally unpleasant with agents very not informative, this cost many people missing connecting flight and in consequences lot of stress and lost 1 extra day of work due to overnight stay in Montreal!.
Pleasant flight, on-time, helpful and professional crew, seats comfortable with adjustable head support.
I am trying to find other line to return .
The whole experience was good
Flight was on time, nice staff, uneventful flight. the only detail that was unpleasant was the ground staff that would not allow to take the stroller saying that the plane had less space - smaller plane than the one from Montreal to Lisbon - didn’t make any sense. It ended up working out because we asked for the manager to explain the change of rules, and he allowed it. The other less positive thing was that when buying the ticket seemed that the check in bag was paid, however it was not included.
Honestly. Seats are so extremely uncomfortable I could not even sleep a wink on my whole flight. Not too mention I had a lady sitting beside me who was extremely sick so my whole flight I was trying to stay as far away as possible in the small seat.
To be honest I will not change a thing great experience all together
Checkin lines were long like everywhere but may not be airlines fault. From there on it was an excellent flight.
Baggage handling could be more carefully bag was damaged
Check in, baggage, comfort
The flight got delayed 6 hours later without previous notice. The plane was old, there was no TV or spot to charge your devices which is useful on long flights.
Air Transat was pretty nice. The plane was nice and spacious and the pilot kept us up to date with delays. Problems were with the airports. Delays getting on and off, although very friendly staff in both airports. Will travel from Heathrow next time
Overall the flight was okay but it delayed in Paris for 2 hours and when arrived we stuck in the plane 45 minutes more. Very upsetting
Flight overall is good. Seats are old and need better cushions. The airline should limit what a passenger can board in terms of food because there were a lot of smells inside the aircraft. Maybe increase the diversity of options in food and make the price more accessible for families could be an option.
Snacks. Water is pretty basic.
Transat is always a perfect alternative to transatlantic flights!
Would be nice if they could have a wifi service onboard and also if they had a food menu other then the one you have to pay !
Great stewardesses.
.Bigger planes ;-)
