DUB-LAX
Pros:The cleanliness of the plane was decent.
Cons:In flight when people were sleeping the crew were loud and interrupted causing you to wake up every time there was a food service or rubbish pick up. On an 11 hour flight this became very annoying when you were trying to get a good amount of sleep. The LCD screens on the back of the seats were the worst interaction I've ever witnessed on an airplane. The touch sensitivity was like something from the 1980s and made it very frustrating to select and navigate. On top of that the screens would spontaneously restart - my boyfriend and I witnessed the same interaction so it wasn't just one seat. Boarding at the terminal was not done efficiently in Dublin. The check in process with the kiosks was set up confusing and the crew helping did not help when clearly we needed it. There were no clear signs designating check in from baggage check. Baggage check that was self check out was not clear. When we received our boarding pass it stated that the doors would close at 1:30 for a 3pm flight - we got to the airport on time and were frantically trying to make it to our gate. After confusing baggage drop off we then had 2 rounds of security that was less than pleasant and we were ushered to a ground level terminal, or what was suppose to be a terminal. There was one food outlet that was understaffed with a huge line - we realized that our flight wasn't actually going to start boarding until 2pm so we could have taken our time. When boarding began they stated we were in final boarding and to not worry it was to stress out the people who hadn't been through security yet. There was no section boarding, it was just a free for all in which everyone waiting in yet another line. Very disorganized and inefficient. I would choose another airline for my next trip to Ireland.

Pros:Nothing. Lost money on flight
Cons:Refunding our flight and not stealing our money during the pandemic

DUB-ORD
Pros:They were able to accommodate our seat requests at the gate. Like the ability to watch fairly new movies for free.
Cons:Seat could use a little more cushion. Butt was sore at the end of the flight.
V
4.3 Mediocre
BDL-DUB
Cons:We are really upset that Aer Lingus and/or Bitish Airways lost our baggeage! All our clothes, toiletries, medicine, and other personal belongings are MIA and we want these two airlines to work together and expedite finding and tertuning our luggage.

3.3 Poor
BOS-DUB
Pros:We got to Berlin quickly...
Cons:Could not choose seats Could not check in online Was not informed of the correct departure terminal Had to pay for drinks onboard Long distances between gate and terminals, seemed like the flight was 2nd class in terms of airport gate locations....
V
5.6 Fair
DUB-BOS
Pros:Customer service on flight back to Boston outstanding. Flight attendant with sense of humor, got me vegetarian meal even when I forgot to pre-order.
Cons:Touch screen technology horrible - practically have to punch seat back numerous times to get response (poor person in front of me!). Wasn't just mine either - everyone had this issue. Movie selection tepid. Can't use your own headset & get stereo sound because of their 2-prong system. Whole setup really bad. On overnight flight from Boston to Dublin, could barely sleep because flight crew kept interrupting with announcements about collecting trash.
V
5.3 Fair
VCE-DUB
Pros:I have never been on an airplane with a crew that constantly gave out orders during the flight. Having the trays and seat backs put up one hour before the flight landed? Frequent barking about the shades needing to be up or down? Making you put your seat back up because someone’s drinking coffee behind you? It got old. I suspect this is a company thing. They seemed friendly enough but they have their marching orders!
Cons:See above
V
6.3 Okay
AMS-DUB
Pros:Basicbflight. Got us there.
Cons:Late leaving resulted in huge rush through transfer in Dublin. Not really a fan of the "just go ahead and board" approach, bit it seems to work.
V
9.5 Wonderful
DUB-AMS
Pros:The crew was wonderful, the seats were comfortable, boarding was smooth and easy. There were no delays. Overall it was still a very good flight and I will definitely fly Aer Lingus again.
Cons:There wasn't any coffee or water available except for purchase. There was no inflight entertainment but it was a short flight so that didn't bother me too much. After arriving I noticed my suitcase was torn but it is possible this was done by airport personnel (TSA) not the airline's baggage handlers.

Aer Lingus contact information

Overview of Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus is a national airline of Ireland and operates out of its hub in Dublin. Flying extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, popular vacation destinations such as France, Greece and Croatia make up a large portion of their seasonal routes. It has operated services across the Atlantic Ocean to New York since 1958 and has since expanded to offer more than 10 other American cities.

In 2015 it was bought by the International Airline Group and now exists as a subsidiary of the company alongside other European airlines Vueling, Iberia and British Airways. Codeshare agreements are in place with a number of other carriers including United Airlines, Etihad Airways, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines and WestJet. Despite having a limited number of scheduled flights through North America, Aer Lingus is able to offer a range of services via these codeshare agreements.

Preferring to use only Airbus planes, the Aer Lingus fleet is predominantly made up of short-to-medium range jets such as the A320 family. Boeing and British Aerospace aircraft have been phased out of the fleet. A distinctive green shamrock leaf is located on the tail of the aircraft. All flights within Europe operate with just an Economy cabin; however, longer transatlantic services also offer Business Class.

It exists as the official airline of the Irish Rugby Team, helping the players and staff fly across the world to compete in tournaments. The faces of star players have been detailed on the body of some of the aircraft, dubbed the Green Spirit. The regular shamrock feature is stylized within a rugby ball on these special models.
