location is really good and people there are very helpful. Nesto coffee and Sauna is available. Water in shower isn't warm enough.
The bed was amazing. Best bed we have ever slept inn:) We liked the staff, the sauna, the jakuzi and the bed:):)
The beds were very comfortable, nice and dark room, quiet. Location is excelllent to watch a movie on the hotel channel you had to pay 25 euro's, a complete ripp off!
Clenliness, friendly staff, location
lack of coffe facilites in the room.
it's location bar prices. eg 51 zloties for one whiskey and one bottle of beer !!!
The rooms were very comfortable - particularly the beds and the staff were extremely helpful We thought the food was very expensive compared to prices in the town.
The hotel had a great location just off the old town square. Terrific value for the comfort provided. Cost of breakfast was far too expensive
This Hotel is truly a five star Hotel. The accomidations are very luxiourios the service was friendly and the breakfast is just phenominal there. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Wroclaw. Truly amazing! The parking for cars is really expensive at 100zl for 24hrs. Spa is also by appointment only and they were impossible to reach.
It's right in the town centre and for the price I paid is excellant value for a 5 star. The staff were really helpfull and polite even though we arrived much later than we had planned. No
Pleasant hotel located right in the city centre with easy access to public transport. Big car park on site. The rooms were very clean, air conditioning worked well. The stuff could learn some foreign languages. Overpriced breakfast.
Unpleasant reception staff, but otherwise it was fine.
Excellent breakfast. Good location. Next to shopping centre. Free internet. Everything worked.
We ordered train tickets to be delivered to the hotel and they were misplaced in the Administartion Office rather than being placed in reception by the hotle staff therefore we did not receive the tickets. We are now having to receive a refubd on these tickets from the hotel which is an inconvenience.
Wszystko nam się podobało! W mojej opinii to najlepszy hotel w swojej klasie! Niestety nic...
The Hotel is in a very good location - this is the main advantage of staying here. Very close to shopping and the major tourist sites; easy to walk to most things from the hotel. The hotel room itself was very, very basic, and not good value for money (compared to other hotels we have stayed in). The room was very small, television was small and practically 'antique', no ironing facilities in room, no tea/coffee-making facilities in room, bed linen was also unimpressive (very basic, and a strange pale yellow colour). Face towels were not included in the bathroom; toiletries very basic also. Breakfast was ok - average selection of buffet offerings (although the scrambled eggs mostly looked like soup).
This is about the 6th time I have stayed in the Mercure Panorama in Wroclaw, the staff are alwasy friendly & welcoming without ever losing their professional nature. It is a great help when staying in a city, I would recommednd it for 1st timers in Wroclaw to find your feet. No
Hotel staff politness & eagerness to help
The room was very clean and comfortable, excellent beds.Well-located, PC and printer + free internet access (reception area), good breakfasts. It was not possible to open a window for fresh air. Awful cigarette smell - people can smoke in the reception area (bar + PCs desk)
Quality of service
situation - clean hotel - good restaurant in the hotel - good breakfast - friendly service room could be warmer (nov)
I have stayed here before,. hence I chose it again. The staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable, and it is within 2 minutes' walk of the Breslauer Ring. I used to stay at the Monopol, but now that another firm has taken it over it has become overpriced for what it is. The Hotel Duet is far better value.
Excellent, helpful staff. Knocking and building site type of noise at night.
The reception girls were really helpfull. The girls in the dining room were really nice and very busy and so polite, The gentleman dressed in jumper and pants we were of the openion he was the "chef" he could try in future to dress as so.He looked more like the bin man hes manner was not so nice to the girls working with him . The room we had I was not able to sleep with the trams treble glaze would not go astray
Staff are extremely friendly. Location is very good, very close to the city centre. Breakfast is fairly good. Room is spatious and clean, simple but nice. Relation quality/price is fantastic. Highly recommendable
This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are clean, and it is quite well located, about 5 minutes walk from the city square. Some travellers may find it a bit inconvenient, noise wise, that it is located on a main avenue, but it was not too bothering to me. in hot weather, the AC may be missed
great value for its price, very clean, well located.
Very friendly staff.Good service.
Good breakfast. Helpful reception staff. Packed breakfast offered. But there were some problems which are shown below. Dirty towels on first night, (washed but stained). Bed linen not changed regularly, even whenblood stains from mosquitos that visited the room in numbers. No soap or shampoo. Only squeezy fixed bottles
Very good hotel and staff. Good position and facilities.
near by the city center, good service.
Arrived at hotel at 9.30 am with an early flight - we were given breakfast by chap on reception which was great. Hotel has been newly modernised with small reception/breakfast area with internet, newspapers, large screen Tv. Room (had booked deluxe) was compact but adequate. Beds were comfortable. Shame no english language programmes on TV in room. Would chose to stay nearer Old town in future - about a 25 minute walk to Rynek (on cobbled streets).
Although I specificly parked in the camera view of the hotel somebody put a slice of bred on my car. The person abviously wanted the pigeons to have "quality time" with the paint on my car.... Luckyly it slide on to the windshield....
chimneys next to the hotel and amazing viwe of buildings which were almost destroyed during war - amazing combination - additionlly never get lost since chimneys are showing the way back
Nice, clean and cozy, very reasonable price. Staff spoke good English.
This is a brand new hotel with clean and nice comfortable rooms. For me the available parking place was important also. They really give what they communicate: bed and breakfast in good quality, no less, no more. I had problems with wifi connection in the room, but it worked fine in the lobby.
Room and beds were very small. Too high price, breakfast was poor.
Nice small hotel located just 10 mins walk from the city centre. Nice and quiet, but the view of the power station is a tad offputting. Pretty good breakfast. Good base for finding all the pesky Gnomes. The wifi (although free) was a bit pants.
Good value for money Could be a wee bit cleaner
Hotel is new and quite modern. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I think that bathroom attached to my room was bigger than the room itself. There is a timer in a shower - in order to get more water one needs to press button every 30sec. Hot in the room and when window opened noise from the outside. Noise from the inside - door slumming, voices form the corridor... place is pretty acoustic. Simple carpet in corridors would be a good solution. Breakfast is a joke.
the design of the hotel, the room breakfast room too small, noise from the road in front of the room
The location of the hotel was very good for our visit and it had a good restaurant. Also the staff were very helpful and could speak English
Location Price Nice restaurant. Staff friendly Very noisy at night
Great location. We had a beautiful view toward the Odra River and the university. Staff was wonderful, sending a employee with us to meet our taxi on the day we left because the annual marathon was being run and the taxi could not get all the way to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the room was beautiful and roomy. No.
Location Only one plug - no way to charge the phone, run laptop and fan at once(no air conditioning, but I'm fine with that)
This beautiful Hotel is situated on an (wyspa) Island. It is a very welcoming place, with very helpful and kind staff. We stayed four nights and wished for more. It is easy walking distance to everything. We enjoyed the delicious Polish meals at Tumski as well as in the (rynek) Market Sq and a number of palce in the Old Town. Nothing bad about the hotel.
Well located in old town area, on the water. EAsy to get to everything and lots of park space nearby.
The property is well kept and parking is secured.
central location, but hard to reach because of the traffic restriction on the bridge; nice breakfast small room for 3 persons
reception staff, the room itself, the location, the feel of the place
The restaurant is a classic Polish pub-style place and is modestly priced with decent food and drink. The hotel is basic but is very fully priced for the quality reflecting both free parking and a good location. I probably would not stay there again, because there are so many good options. Room is TINY, only double beds and they were small too. The shower is almost claustrophobic. There are no carpets on the very cold floors.
Met expectation of quality hotel Late check in time !!
The facilities are very good. the staff is very friendly. it is no problem to park the car near the hotel. the gym is very good.
Spacy, clean room. Friendly and professional staff Could be good to have possibility to use stairs. Two elevators were overloaded.
Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful and the facilities were excellent.
bath items are great. Robe was dirty when we arrived.
Friendly and helpful staff. Expensive breakfast
Room Price, hotel style and comfort, staff friendly & helpful Bar was very expensive
simply nothing. it was the worst experience ever. staff are horrible, services are poor.
It was a weekend trip to Wroclaw, so I seem to have booked the room at a special rate. Anyway, great value for the money. Secondly, it is just a short walk from the city centre and Tumski Island. Thirdly, the area is really peaceful at the weekend. There is enough space to park, as well.
Well organized and friendly staff. I did feel very safe. No worries about the car, beeing in the locked garage. There was nothing I did miss during my stay. The breakfast was perfect, too - the selection was complete for anyone´s taste. There will be no other choice for me anymore, visiting Wroclaw next time.
Was a reasonable price and great location. Service was poor. ordered room service and food was freezing cold and really not that good. left food in room for a full day afterwards room service did not remove. Jacuzzi was frezzing cold. Pay per view tv did not work no explanation given. If it was a 3 star hotal i would recomend it however it is not a 5 star hotal not sure where they got that classification from its a joke.
The room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was not included and very overpriced. Very limited parking.
Nice rooms, friendly staff You have to go cross the lobby to reach the spa and there were no possibilities to lay down and relax
A very beautiful hotel with large room and fantastic staff. Although in the city centre, hotel is hiding in a small street, not very attractive area around the ghotel.
Locations great, can walk to to most of the thinhgs to see or to shops. Upmarked hotel.
A really "smart" hotel, lovely large bedroom, modern and elegant layout all spotlesley clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.
First impressions on opening the suite was fantastic! Loved it all.
The spacious room and the position of the hotel very central to visit the city of Wroclaw The lack of parking space, and the difficulty to find the hotel
The space , comfort and general design of the room was first class as were the bathroom facilities .
Great, perfect design, everything is clean and everybody is unbelivable friendly, I hope they keep their level!!!
The room was a cut above anything else, the attention to detail was brilliant. WiFi for rooms is a must, the only thing preventing our stay here being perfect.
a good hotel. nothing to complain about.
hotel was very central and we arrived early and could book in which was fantastic coming off an early flight . could do with tea and coffe making in room
Sauna was ok, although for additional cost.
The hotel itself was ok. This is not a 4 star hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was very poor.
Location was good, close to the railway station. Cleaning ladies came twice knocking on our door before the check-out time at 12, first at 10 n then at 11:30. Don't they have a system where to look who has checked out and who hasn't.
i thought the sauna should be included in the price when booking
Excellent location and good facilities Background noise (perhaps Pool or Air Conditioning) especially at night
Hotel staff was nice and helpful, room very clean and comfortable . Fantastic location(walking distance for city center). there was not the first time i stayed in this hotel and i absolutly will stay in the hotel again.
location, double bed facilities are too modest to deserve 4 stars, this is a good 3-star hotel (not 4 as advertised)
Generally quite conveniently situated Around two-dozen Polish roadworkers, hammering constantly right outside the hotel window from dawn to dusk each day! We should have been warned.
The location was excellent. Loved swimming after a days shopping. Had to run back to my room on the 3rd floor in a wet bathing suit, as there was no towels in the changing area
Excellent location, swimming pool and spa. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, no batteries in the tv remote
Location, location, location, literally 2 minutes walk from old town square, 5 minutes from shopping mall, 10 minutes from Wroclaw cathedral and 15 minutes from train station. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of hot and cold meats, large selection of fresh breads, cheese and fruits. All very fresh, the 2 girls although very formal were on top of everything, constantly topping up food and drink. Highly recommendable. The bed was too soft for my personal liking.
Breakfast buffet, Wellness area Television, Bathroom, elevator
The staff were very helpful, the pool was clean and my room was big and spacious. The pool was closed for 1 whole day due to cleaning. We were not infomred about this and had to keep askin when it was going to be re-opened. Also there seems to be a Towel shortage as your only given 1 towel in your room and sometmes this wasn't changes after your room was cleaned. Also they did not bring a new breaksfast selection list for your door.
very good locality underflow of shampoo, soap, unwashed glasses in the room
Very close to centre of town I heard the management were a bit inflexible on their staff having time off when needed in emergencies
Location; Internet Access; Superb Breakfast
Location, breakfast No tea/coffee facilities
Big room The bathroom is equipped with uncomfortable "system" for control the start/stop of the water ... for example in the shower pressing the only button, this will start to provide water for only 5/10 seconds, then it is need to press again or keep pressing ... in additional the 1st second the shower will start with very refreshing cold water
Attentive staff. Decor outstanding. Food Superb. Hotel is difficult to find. However it is in the shadow of the Cathedral, the spires of which are a landmark. Might be useful to mention this in the hotel information.
Breakfast in the winter terrace was really nice. I did not like the bathroom tap on button with no possibility to lower high stream of warer. It was difficult to stay dry..
place and the hotel too
Hotel im Jana Pawla11 has a fantastic location - quiet and serene. The hotel itself is very impressive -spacious, beautiful decor. Excellent restaurant, cafe and breakfast in the conservatory. Staff extremely helpful. No
The standard of accommodation was excellent; the rooms were spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The hotel is well situated and within walking distance of the market square. The breakfast buffet was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.
Quiet hotel in peaceful location, but close to town centre. Rooms spotless with nice layout & high standard of furniture. poor TV service, no /or limited wireless connection for laptop
Very very nice hotel, excellent location, staff very friendly. User friendly hotel. Lack of tea & coffee making facilities in room
location atmosphere service Room lacks minibar . Shower stops after very short time
The food in the restaurant downstairs was very good and an excellent value for the money. The lobby was beautiful and clean. The employees at the front desk were extremely helpful and called to make tour reservations for us, which the people at the tourist office in the market square were not willing to do. Nor could anyone at the city tourist office answer any questions about the tours or even if they offered wine or ice cream on the boat ride. The faucet in our bathroom was terrible. You have to push the button and it comes out with such force that water splashes all over the sink, mirror and your clothes. There are no handles to adjust the flow. The shower is the same set up . It is annoying to have to keep hitting the button to maintain water flow but at least it doesn't spray all over the bathroom.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices Instructions how to get there and signs not very good. We asked for a room with a fair view of the river and they kindly moved us to another room but the view was even less than the original room. They put as in a room which apparently served as a studio as it had a inside door to another room. however, the door was locked and that room rented and as you understand we could absolutely hear the people next door talking!!!
The rooms and the beds are really quiet and comfortable, perfect for recovering the lost energies after a day of long walks in Wroclaw. Every evening, you'll find a bottle of water in your room. The staff is skilled and professional; it's also thanks to them that I was able to recover the cel phone I had forgotten in the room. Ah, and the hotel location is ideal, close to the Odra river and 15 mins of walk away from the Rynek square. Breakfast (which is not included in the hotel rate) seemed a bit expensive... but then, you don't need to eat breakfast at the Campanile.
breakfast and breakfast. no.
A nice restaurant. Bathroom equipment (mixing tap) was not in the best condition.
a nice cheap hotel not too far from the centre 10 mins walk
Very comfortable rooms, clean beds an towels, nice complimentary drinks tray. Breakfast was not included in the room rate and seemed a little overpriced. However, there is a McDonalds across the road where we had breakfast!
I liked the accommodations and the dinning in the hotel very nice and easy good.
The staff was quite friendly, hotel room was clean and decent. They allowed me for a late check out (on sunday 14:30h) which was really kind and positive. Location (neighboroud) is a bit strange, if you are trying to go walking to city center - despite the fact the location is not bad at all, quite close to the center; internet was slow and unrealiable.
Conveniently near to main city centre (20 minutes walk).
the location is perfect - close to the main road and close to the Old Town
A good place to stop, put your head down and then carry on. Could be slightly cheaper for that though, especially with a more modern Campanile in town The hotel is looking extremely dated.
Helpful staff, Pool and Jacuzzi bath in room Fifth floor rooms very noisey, staff were able to find another on the 2nd floor
the hotel staff was friendly and helpful; the rooms and bathroom were clean, nicely designed and good equipped (especially floor heating in the bathroom!); breakfast was a pleasure (quality goes over quantity; usually it is the other way round) and was served in a nice restaurant room no complaints :)
*Fine historic style modernised sesnsitiely. Excellent buffet breakfast. No.
Excellent service, top design, very big and comfortable room, great restaurant, good spa, very clean and new
Professional and sufficient support at the reception. Offered help with luggage. That evening a fashion show took place and party afterwards. Nothing against parties, but I had a wake up call at 4.30 am and would have appreciated a room to the other side as I was not able to sleep due to music...
The location and extremely friendly staff
Professional staff, pleasing ambience & decor, great facilities, great restaurant The room we stayed in was very dark and the breakfast could be a little more international
The hotel building is certainly 5 star and it has a great location. I was disappointed by the service in the hotel, service is not in line with the physical product, it is missing the refined service touch you are expecting in an international luxery hotel. The music is not of my taste, the breakfast could be better (more refined choice).
Spa facilities, very comfortable bar area, spacious bedrooms with outstanding decor. Excellent standard of service and curtesy from the reception staff. Room service was poor on morning of arrival. Bathroom layout could be improved to give more privacy. Shower poorly designed in Room 304. Also being overlooked by neighbours in same room.
Price On multiple occasions I email hotel in advance of trip and they never responded. I even called Best Wesrern's 800 number who confirmed I was using correct email and that my reservation was in the system. ALL other hotels in Poland and Wroclaw communicated with me. I refused to risk a late night arrival to a Hotel that does not respond to guests or traveler comments on Trip Advisor. We did stay at Puro Hotel and loved it.
The staff were very couteous and pleasant and the room was excellent, the greeting we received was very pleasant and check in was and check out were handled quickly and efficiently. The reception area is awful, it needs updating and making a little more welcoming. also the lack of a proper bar caused the hotel to have no heart, no focus.
Lovely comfortable room Breakfast selection poor so did not eat there during stay
whole 3rd floor has full heating impossible to sleep no air con, no place to park at hotel door for luggage claim, open wifi my laptop was hacked - keylogger, buthtub congested, booking offer price was without breakfast=scam
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Wroclaw, great ambience, good facilities, friendly staff. Would certainly return.
Plush, spacious, stylish no
The hotel was really beautiful and location perfect. But the breakfast was the best:lots and lots of choices and everything fresh. Very impressed! Yes, their mini bar's prices. The first day I checked the prices of the mini bar and the next day I wanted to check the price of the beer but the price list wasn't there.Didn't take to much notice, but when we paid the bill the prices were much higher: water instead 2pln was 12PLN,coke insted 4pln was 12PLN,so in the end wa paid for 2waters and 1coke 36pln instead 8PLN.No proper explanation?!!
Its quiet location in the city centre. Helpful, English speaking staff at reception. Good and hearty breakfast.
Very comfortable & clean room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Highly efficient & charming staff. Free WiFi, although there was some difficulty connecting on our last day. The business centre proved very useful. Above all - the gnome outside!
Position, decor, food. n/a
the location was nice, so was the included breakfast.. the staff were most understanding and thoughtful, and made their best to make one feel welcomed. lack of a view from the room, the lack of a fridge in the room, and a faulty sink in the bathroom =(
nothing it was a horrible place to stay in
The staff were polite and friendly and patient with my wife, who doesn't speak Polish too fluently. The elevator. We don't like elevators at the best of times. But being on the second floor, we were able to use the stairs. Also, Pilsudski Street is very noisy.
the staff were very good, clean room every day
The beds were comfortable Should have toast facilities at breakfast
Hotel staff friendly, spoke good English. Noise from renovations and building work outside.
Crispy clean sheets, spacious bedroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. TV had only one chanel working and it was an English chanel. Nothing in Polish was working. Sad for someone who comes to Poland and is eager to see some Polish news and hear the language. Besides, the remote was not working so you had to manipulate the TV set manually. The shower was working fine, except that the water was not going anywhere, it would stay in the pool for a while. And the smell of the room - indicating that it's been a while since the last renovation.
The price of the rooms where reasonable enough. The bathrooms & showers are in a terrible state resulting in excessive leaks through the drains when using them.
Excellent location, just minutes from train station and main thoroughfares. Good size room and bathroom, very helpful and polite staff.
The hotel was in a good position but very very basic, not the best but ok for one night
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room very basic but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Only 10 min walk to city centre. Hotel was very basic and bare. Reminded me of The Shining! I guess this is why it is only 2 Star, although room booked was supposedly superior. Could do with some paintings/pictures in both the corridors and bedrooms. No heating in room and it was only 6 degrees outside! Thankfully we were only staying one night and there were extra blankets.
Nice comfortable rooms and good beds. The hotel has some problems with the sound isolation. I could hear the couple talking in a next room.
I found the staff very friendly and helpful always smiling. The room was big and clean and every day we had a fresh bottle of water which I consider a very important factor. The entrance lobby of the hotel could be modernised, it looks as if it is still in the communist era.
Central location in the city, comfortable room. I couldn't find the reception desk number when I arrived in my room and wanted to ask about internet facilities, so I had to go down to the reception again to ask.
Staff very frendly, restaurant very good, location excelent
Walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was poor. Teaspoons were missing. Staff did not bring new ones. Noise from cars and trams. Hotel street is very busy.
Simple decor, well kept. Very good value
The hotel is very nice and it is very comfortably located near the main square. Some of the people in the staff are nice, and also some speak English well. It has free parking and free wireless, and the rooms are very clean. It has everything you need in the room, and the quality is over the price you pay. Some rooms are overlooking the avenue, and those are very noisy (there is a tram line going right in front of the hotel). The staff is not altogether nice, some are quite unfriendly (we wanted to change the room, and they looked at us like we were crazy), and the main disadvantage is that not all of them speak English.
The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. very professional. The noise of the doors slamming.
Very nice rooms, nice hotel, right downtown, easy access to everything, good buffet.
Clean, good breakfast, free wifi worked well, great location 10 minute walk to central train/bus stations and close to tram stop. Lunch is available but not dinner but then you should try the many fine restaurants in Wroclaw. Would recommend and stay again.
