Pros (+) The whole building has a charming air of history about it. My room was up in the attic and, though small, was a super romantic place to stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast sufficient. The location is cool because it is an easy (though labyrinthine) walk to St. Mark's Square. There is a stop for the water bus only three minutes away.
Cons (-) The front door is not well-marked so you need to look carefully. Once I saw it, I felt like an idiot for not noticing it sooner. Don't expect a big, fancy hotel sign.
