Agent on site lied about coverage needed so I paid more than necessary, despite asking in Spanish about the legal minimums and requirements. Otherwise, the rental was fine, but I am unlikely to use this service again.

Compact

They wouldn’t give me the car without insurance the guy was extremely rude and basically said that if anything happens to the car I’m going extorted for huge amounts of money and shouldn’t take it he wouldn’t look at me at all. And told me I won’t get my money back at all. Never use this place if you are travelling in Mexico as a tourist and don’t speak Spanish, because they will rip you off and steal your money.

Pros:

Nothing. The rental company had no vehicles available at the time of pick up. My wife and I contacted customer service via chat and was informed to stay at the location until resolved. We waited 2+ hours while on vacation with no vehicle or refund. Customer service was terrible and will never utilize this website for any future plans.

We got a confirmation that our car was reserved. After waiting in line for about an hour we heard that there were no cars available. After insisting they could give us a car that was quite a bit more expensive. Not amused we opted for that, but it took them another hour to "unlock" the car in the system. We decided not to wait any longer and cancelled the whole thing and took a taxi to bacalar, which ended up even being cheaper. Horrible customer service!

They scammed me. I went to my time to pick up and told me they did nit have any cars. But I could have a car for 125..00. Then I called kayak and hertz. No help for me at all. They still charged my credit card and I never got a car to rent. I will take my complaint to the top to get this fraud stopped. **be careful do not rent from kyak or Hertz on here, it is a TOTAL SCAM!

Pros:

I was scammed, we had made the reservation for 76$ and he told me the car was not available, gave me an even worse car, and then charged me 200$. HE saw that I had to deliver it in Cancun and once I told him I was heading to the airport he scammed me.

$3800 hold on my cc because I had my own insurance which I have/had proof of. Returned the car and was charged $140 b/c of a scratch that may/may not have been there prior to me renting there bc proper pictures were not taken.

Car was not ready, had to wait till it was cleaned. Car wash quality was horrible. Car itself was beaten up from all sizes, it was hard to follow all cracks and scratches. Have no complains for staff in the airport tho. Was very helpful and understanding.

You had no cars! I waited two days before taking a taxi to playa where I got a car immediately. It was literally faster to take a taxi to playa, rent a car, and drive back. Terrible experience.
