Ok. Just ok. But clean and on time
Overbooked flight which led to big delay.
Lost bags - airline admitted fault
Good experience overall, comfortable flight and good crew! Vegetarian food option was not great.
Uncomfortable seats, unfriendly crew, going up and down stairs, taking buses, all with hang luggage, not a nice experience, even flying business.
TAP cancelled the flight from Rome to Lisbon, causing chaos in my whole flight back to US. Airline representative at FCO made all sorts of excuse not to work out a new schedule reflecting my biz class seat. Upon my insistance and declined they dis-service, I was finally put on Air Canada flight back to US. It was a very stressful process at FCO. I will never fly with TAP again.
Better and greater selection of movies. Better food.
Very very cold inside the aircraft. It took more than 2hours to get served by the Crew. The Crew was very polite. The Flight was delayed and No explaination and the gate changed the time from 12:15 to 12:10 even though it was first delayed to 12:25. Departure was finally 13:05lt The app for check-in is also not user friendly. Really unprofessionel in so many levels
When I purchased flights, I had a round trip. They rescheduled shortening my trip by 3 days. Also, they canceled my return flight and made ZERO effort to assist in scheduling a new one. Horrible customer service. I will never use this airline.
The experience at the airport was traumatic to say the least, the flight was extremely delayed as a result
There was Ninna or Ninra at the gate; and we apparently had our Covid vaccines older than they allow to enter Portugal, which is preposterous. She walked us over to pay over $450.00 to fly. When we got back we just made it in time and put the other person with me, who was flying in a different seat, next to each other and her and her associates are a great example of stellar customer service. They need to be commended, especially with the stress of so many travels with so many personalities. This was the JFK to Lisbon flight.
Delayed again for over 2 hrs
Loved just 2 seats per aisle in our flight and very comfortable seats
They cancelled our tickets after missing the Porto to Lisbon leg. We had car troubles and called emailed and messaged. We were boarding after customs, Covid testing and baggage. We spent 6 hours at the airport just to have to buy full fare replacement tickets.
Flexibility to change seats! Terribly tight for tall people!
I didn’t like the ride with the bus to get to the terminal on the flight in Europe Crew was really nice
A
Customer service was lacking. Crew members were quite rude when we asked for alternate food options, even though we were asking to pay for food that they had listed in their in-flight purchase menu. None of the items for purchase were even available according to the crew and they weren't the least bit apologetic about it. When they were handing out breakfast boxes and we asked what was inside, they said we don't know, you can check yourselves. Overall, were unhappy with the service and will most probably avoid flying with the airline in the future.
Misleading or incorrect information resulted in us being charged $95 to check a bag. This did not happen on our flight from Boston to Lisbon - the bags were checked through. So at the end of our trip, we were tired and waited a long time to be told that we had to pay $95 for each bag (two of us, we each had one). This was profoundly disappointing. The food was not good. The crew was great. Seats are uncomfortable, and it's like riding a bus. I'd never pay for an upgraded seat because even business class didn't look much different. Generally, I fly a legacy airline, but I wouldn't book with TAP again.
Excellent staff, polite and very helpful.
Professional and good mannered staff. Food is excellent.
Special food order that was confirmed by e-mail was unavailable Weighing of carry on luggage was ridiculous with items being shifted from one bag to another Business class seating was inferior to other airlines
Special food order was not fulfilled Plane was not ready and passengers were kept on bus for a long period
Perfectly fine flight, no issues whatsoever
Excellent experience, will fly with them again…🙃
We rode in Business class which allowed for priority boarding and comfortable seating. Flying across the Atlantic from Lisbon to San Francisco, I found the configuration and comfort of the seats lacking. The USB and earphone outlets were in a very awkward position, right under your knees and hard to find without a flashlight. Once in the seat, it was awkward to get out. The cabin crew was very pleasant and the food was okay. For the price I thought it was a good deal over all.
Excelente linea aerea
I didn't know anything about TAP Air Portugal but the flight was awesome and far cheaper than any other airline.
my luggage got badly damaged
TAKE ANOTHER PLAIN
On board TAP Portugal flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x40x20cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the TAP Portugal assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
