The room was spotless and cleaners did a good job every day. All staff went "the extra bit" to make you welcome and were very helpful. Especially when my wife became ill and had to leave. My car was parked for 6 days and received a ding in the door which I didn't find untill I returned home.
the location is amazing. overall a great experience and would recommend it to friends and family! the bedrooms are beautiful the bathrooms could be bigger and more modern otherwise it was amazing.
The quality of the staff in the foyer lunch?coffee area. The room smelt a little of smoke. The ice was delivered to the room when we were out for the evening and had melted by the time we had returned - and wanted to use it.
the location to the city was peaceful ,clean the buffet was great the staff very pleasant and parking facilities I would like a better in room fridge although the ice bucket was great

We really loved everything until our problem at the checkout. We had requested a car to the airport to be scheduled. We stopped at the luggage arrival desk the day before. It was written down but i think no one ever called the car service. There were 4 of us with large luggage so my son had to run down the ramp into the street to flag down 2 taxis..... The international terminal airport was VERY busy and we came close to arriving too late for our flight

Stayed at the Radisson for one night on our way inbound from Canada to Melbourne. Lovely hotel, in the heart of the CBD. Close to the Harbour and ferries, the Opera House, slight trek to Darling Harbour but very central. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Also, took advantage of the breakfast buffet before or flight the next morning which was quite good but pricey $25per. The porters were exceptional, always attentive and helpful with the baggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Only a couple of hiccups, we arrived in the morning and even though check in was at 3pm they said we could check in at 1130am. When we went to pick up our room keys they kept putting us off with “ready in 5 minutes” until noon. Just tell us noon, we would have gone for a walk. While we were waiting in the lounge for our room there was some construction going on in the restaurant, didn’t make for the best of atmospheres.
Convenient location to city attractions. Breakfast prices were way too high. I paid $158 U.S. dollars and the breakfast prices were $18 to $26 US dollars. Overall I enjoyed my stay as the room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

We had originally rented an apartment in Sydney. However, due to construction at night, we had to relocate. We found a great rate at the Raddisson Blu and booked it. We enjoyed the last few nights of our vacation in a beautiful and comfortable room. The hotel staff was very helpful and the hotel was spotless. We would definitely stay there again!
The staff were fantastic - very friendly without being stuffy from frontline to cleaning staff. Great location - right between central shopping & circular quay.

Lovely room and great location. Upgraded, but that cost $60 per night. Nothing really, although room service meal was fairly ordinary.
We asked to hotel concierge for the morning call at 5:30am, but we did not get any phone call from the hotel concierge. Ii is indeed disaponted. I hardly miss the international fight.
bed is old, sags in middle. Room is old, needs a refurb. "Atrium" means no view at all.

The location is great. The hotel is close to everything from shops, supermarket, office, parks, restaurants. The room is spacious and the bed was very comfy. Two towels of 4 were badly washed. They still have some stain in them. Breakfast could use more variety for the price they are charging. Some staffs at the conscious were not friendly.

things were acceptable for what i needed, there was nothing there that made me happy i stayed there rather than some place else. for a "5 star" hotel it was missing quite a bit. no spa, no pool, restuarants were really just bars with some tables. the staff was a bit snooty. everything in the room and hotel are for sale, and pretty much makes you feel like you are sleeping in an ikea catalog.

Hotel lobby! Terrible breakfast! no restuarant in the hotel! no swimming pool!
I liked the central location of the hotel and the staff were friendly and warm. I found it rather surprising that internet was not complimentary as it is a 5-star hotel. The last time I visited Sydney I stayed at Raddison's which I believe is a 4-star hotel and found the stay there on par with Sofitel, a 5-star hotel.
Rooms were very nice as were they lobby and bar You need better wifi access and it should be considered a basic service that you provide
The location, the luxurious setting, drinks at the lounge and the most comfortable bed ever - what's not to like?!
The location was excellent. Very close to all the tourist attractions and to the cities history.Service was good.
Bed was comfortable. A/C in good working order. Nice size bathroom. Appreciated the toiletries, the fridge, the safe. Excellent lighting both in room and bathroom. It was a bit disconcerting to find hairs in the tub after the room was cleaned.. The desk chair could use refurbishing.
Location was fantastic The rooms were small, didn't smell good and were generally well below what you would expect for Sofitel standards (and in the centre of Sydney). There are many other city hotels much better standard at the same price. I won't be staying there again.

Modern look, location, free wifi Poor food choices, no lounge, no outside calling, very small rooms, no room service, less than attentive staff, windows don't open. You may want to ask for a room that does not look out on the atrium. Guests in those rooms have to keep their room-darkening shades down or everyone getting off the elevator will look across at them lying on their bed.
Fully fitted kitchen and washign facilities make it the easiest way to manage yourself in such a busy city. An excellent stop with an ideal location for the centre as well as metro and bus routes

Easy access & central city location. A good clean property & I liked the fact it is a small sized, boutique property.The one bedroom apartment was just perfect for business & well sized in the overall layout. Would definately recommend & use again
The studio was very confortable and big. The location in the city heart Specific location: Husking pl is a very ugly little street.
We stayed 9 days at Medina Martin Place and we absolutely loved it. We had the best sleep, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on and the blanket was super yummy too. The location is perfect for CBD or exploring the city. The apartment had all possible facilities we needed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, Warren and Mimi in particular. Highly recommended. Cleaning is up for some improvement. Garbage and towels were taken care of on a daily/ when required basis, but the carpeted floor was quite filthy at the end of our 9 day stay and glass surfaces of furniture were pretty dirty too. Also, our CD player was so old (or substandard?), it couldn't play even brand new CDs.
The self contained apartments were fantastic. Very comfortable, large and well appointed. Has everything that you will need including own mini laundry (in what looks like a linen cupboard). They appear to be very new. Everything was spotless including furniture, fixtures, carpet etc. Very secure with swipe cards to get in and out. We are always wary about booking sight unseen - but this was lovely There are no views.The hotel is in a little alley - so no foyer or anything. Not very well signed for new guests. Everything is secured by swipe cards and pin numbers so getting into the hotel for the first time to check in isn't laid out in front of you.
Staff were very helpful & location was excellent The hotel never got my booking from booking.com which was a little stressful but they managed to find me a room. On the upside the staff fixed the problem quite quickly.
Convenience to Sydney CBD makes it ideal for national & international tourists and business people. Kitchen and Laundry facilities were a bonus.

Proximity to places I needed to visit. Easy access to shops and favourite Sydney spots. Very neat and clean The bistro is not available around the clock. I believe the outside notice on the wall of the bistro entry may be misleading.
The hotel was close to Opera House and city shopping. It was a very quiet hotel which we appreciated. The breakfast menu was a bit restricted. We would have liked just cooked eggs rather than having to order the continental breakfast and eggs.
The vicinity, the facilities in the room were very good but found the dining facilities to be less than a high standard and closed relatively early. Rather noisy (not the airconditioning) and didn't figure out what it was. Perhaps the location to the service lift ? No.
The location is very central, walk to everything. Very clean and friendly and helpful staff. Secure card opperated elevator. Because of the business area many cafes and restaurants are closed on Sundays. No ramp up to registration desk.

excellent location and room was spot on. the lounge bar and thai restaurant on 1st floor was closed for 4 days over easter holiday weekend.we were only there for 4 days.also breakfast was a bit disapointing.expensive for what we received.had to pay extra for a sausage.

Use of laundry room for free. The free wifi promised in our room did not work. There were cockroaches on the 3rd floor. The staff were unfriendly. The air conditioning could not be controlled in our room. The bed was extremely hard.

Excellent location - central for Opera House, The Bridge & Darling Harbour - all within easy walking distance. Kitchen facilities (shared) were excellent and very clean. No lift!!! The family rooms are on the 4th floor (that's the 3rd floor for uk vistors :o) and as we were halfway through a 6 week holiday we had lots of cases & bags. However, tiny Erika on the desk carried one of the heavier bags up for us without us asking. (Thanks). The bathroom in the family suite is a glass walled section (partially frosted!) of the double-bed room, so unless you are a very open family, it can be embarrassing!!
It was convenient to the circular quay and The Rocks area. The bed was hard as a rock. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. There was free wifi in the hotel but it was extremely hard to get service.
Central location, all main tourist attractions on walking distance The site suggests for the family room to be a suite with kitchen. The kitchen however is shared with other hotel guests, the kitchen however was kept clean and had facilities to store private goods. The master bedroom is very small with hardly storage space for bags. The second bedroom actually has more space. The family room is located on the fourth floor and no elevator is present.. The room however has modern sanitary facilities, good beds, is clean and quiet, even in the centre of town. All in all we liked the stay and can recommned the hotel.
Easy central location and walking distance to the train.Loved having the shared kitchen facility with adjacent lounge. We didn't like the large frosted window and not being able to see outside or have any sun. However, in saying that we understand why it was frosted.
The location only We were disappointed as we thought we would have had a view as per the pictures on the website of the hotel rooms but all we had was a brick wall hidden behind a curtain.It was very noisy.
The staff were very friendly. The walls needed to be cleaned in the family suite. Under the beds were dirty. No lock on the bathroom door. The beds are by far the most uncomfortable/hard that we have ever slept on. There was also no mention that there was no lift until after I had paid. This was a problem as the lady I was with could not manage the 4 flights of stairs. It was also very very noisy internally. No city noise just internal.
