Internet (as long as you are given an access code) Staff was wonderful. Clean. Cleaning staff was great! Internet without an access code is only 5 mbits. Too far from town. Morning breakfast staff on Friday only (out of 7 days) seemed to have no manager. They were loud and wanted us to sit in a specific location so they would only have to clean one place in the dining room. That is unacceptable for a luxury hotel.
Great hotel in great location. Really liked the morning breakfast offering. We used it as our home base for three day visit to Stockholm and could not have been happier.
Comfortable rooms , convinient location , very helpful and friendly staff. Needs to have english breakfast tea at the breakfast. They told it was finished which i thought was the only missing thing in this hotel.
Excellent rooms, great gym and good food at a good price level.
Fridge and coffee/tea making facilities in room. Free wifi. Good tv channels. 40 mins walk into town/train station etc, right by park and bridge to sodermalm island. In house restaurant was nice (pricey but in keeping with city prices). Nice quiet room, very comfortable and nice bathroom and shower. Staff spoke english and were helpful. We turned up at 3.30pm and our room still wasnt ready. We did get in by 4pm but for a big (and brand new) complex this was unacceptable. The second day we returned to our room at 4pm and had still had no room service. Just teething problems I'm sure!
Staff, Design and Breakfast. N/A
Less expensive than being in Gamla Stan or near the big tourist traps. Trails and park right outside the front door. Restaurant menu is limited.
pretty ok, as expected from Marriott. no bell boys
This new hotel is excellent. From the good general location, convenient on-site parking, chilled bar area and great restauraunt to the friendliness of the staff - all these were first class. The deluxe bedroom we booked on the 11th floor had a very large corner jacuzzi bath (we didnt know about this) which you could sit in and look out through picture windows (mirrored) over the cityscape. a very large and comfy bed made the whole room experience perfect. Would recommend to all. Everything was perfect..
Excellent modern hotel. Nice bar / breakfast area. Good facilities
Relatively big, spacious rooms. Very clean. Tea/coffee facolities. The hotel was built in 2010, so everything is still new and fresh. Good breakfast. Nice lobby area and cozy bar. 10 minutes from the tube station Fridhemsplan. Taxi fare from the central station to the hotel is around 140 SEK.
Taxi are in abundance and arrive within minutes even at pueak times. Couldn't hear any other guests from my room - hotel was full
good location close to the central station, good breakfast. no air conditioning, and the rooms were much warmer than outside that made it hard to stay inside!! I know it is unusual to have this hot weather in Stockholm, but still they should have air conditioning in a 4 star hotel. Also the extra bed was so bad, better not to take an extra bed!!
The first appointed room didn't quite fit our needs, but staff was helpful and found us another room. Breakfast was nothing ordinary but satisfied hunger. No air-conditioning which would have been nice at 30 degrees of Celsius.
Location, rather nice atmosphere in the lobby Yes, I have written a complaint to the hotel due to noise Yes, a complaint letter has been written to the hotel because of noise from building constructions and elevator malfunction (one of two)
The adress! This four star hotel have lost there position. The personal are arrogant and the service unpleasant. The chitchat from the guests was based on the fact that they would never stay in Amaranten again. If First Hotel Amaranten is the only choice in Stockholm - pick another city!
The breakfast was good. The room is very small (miniature) you can not move. The bathroom seat had no space to set and to top it all the shower sink was placed at the highest level of the ground converting taking a shower like swimming in a pool. There were construction in every floor in the hotel with dust every were.
First of all the First Hotel Amarten is very comfortable and quite place. I like the location of it and parking is veryimportant to me, because I'm with the car.
-- The window of our room culd not be closed properly. (Room 563)
The hotel is well-located, the entrance / lobby area is nice, newly renovated. Rooms were clean, basic comforts. Unfortunately I stayed there while they are in the middle of renovations, including the outside and the floor on which my room was located. Rooms and bathroom are a bit out-dated, but presumption is this will be renovated and improved.
Good location. Dirty room (gross, black hair all over the place), air condition not working, arrogant, unfriendly staff. Total price charged was higher than shown on booking confirmation.
Very smart modern hotel, ideally located and good value for money. My single room was tiny with basically a comfortable bed, TV, bedside table and a great shower. No frills but, ideal for the business traveller.
Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, nice staff and perfect location. Lil' bit noisy, but this is not big problem.
Plesant hotel slightly off the beaten track. New hotel with typical Scandanavian fit out and minimalism. One street away from Fleminggatan with its shops and restaurant. Close to the water.
Staff has been very helpful None
very clean, very quiet, the staff very kind and disponible,100 meters from metro station, easy to go to airport bus station by metro they don't accept all kind of credit cards for the payment
helpful personnel showers
i only stayed one night and canceled the other 2 remaining night (due to invitation to my friend house ) but as per hostel rule we had to pay for 2th night even though we left on 2th day at 1100 o,clock no comment
that they had bed sheets and blankets for free too many people for having just one toilette
Good location. Very helpful Manager. Nice guy. no
Affordable accommodation in Stockholm. Does what it says on the tin. Walls are a bit thin.
