Based on KAYAK hotel searches, the most popular destination is Porto Cervo (65% of total searches to Sardinia). The next most popular destinations are Cagliari (13%) and Alghero (13%). Searches for hotels in La Maddalena (9%) are also popular.

KAYAK users have found double rooms in Sardinia for as cheap as AED 116 (Villasimius) in the last 3 days. The average price is AED 745.

One example is Hotel dei Pini in Alghero; it has its own private beach, and it is one of the many hotels listed as having a low impact on the local environment.

Castiadas is not far from the capital city and yet is a haven of peace and tranquillity, set on a white powder-sand beach. Consider the adults-only hotel La Villa del Re on the beachfront as your honeymoon destination, especially in September when the weather and the sea are still warm but the beaches are less crowded.
