Cons: Fantastic hotel. Perfect location. Would definitely go back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Whenever we stay in our friends’ apartment in Monte Duquesa we always arrange a 1 night trip to a special place in the area. Having been to Ronda many times we decided to stay in the Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa. It is amazing… We had a warm & friendly check-in for a superior double room with terrace; our room was outstanding & had everything & more that we desired, very comfortable bed & sofa/TV area. From our terrace the breathtaking views of the gardens, the Guadalevin valley & Tajo de Ronda were wonderful. We had a lunch of tapas & drinks on the Gourmet Corner bar sun terrace…delish We then went walkabout, a short stroll into town & then on to the Old Historic Town. When we returned to our room a tray of fresh fruit & Cava had been delivered which we enjoyed on the terrace just before sunset. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel having booked the Pedro Romero beforehand… Breakfast is scrumptious & offers an immense choice – juices, fruits, yoghurts, breads, continental & cooked. The breakfast really does set you up for the day… Following this we went to the spa & enjoyed the thermal waters - sheer bliss, an oasis of calm & healing. So then we left with everlasting memories of this lovely hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will return.
Cons: We found ourselves in a situation outside our control, staying 'during the age of the Corona' just before an official lockdown in Spain was announced. There were some guests who were on coach tours who were clearly worried & unsettled but despite this we had an enjoyable stay & had the Spa to ourselves. The staff were all very mindful of the situation & the effect on their guests & themselves. It is in God's hands & who knows when we will be able to travel again to Southern Spain, but we will, when this passes...x
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff, grounds, views and breakfast.
Cons: Junior Suite was small and nothing like the photos. I was disappointed with my room for the significant price I paid. I reported this to Reception who advised they had no other rooms. The Spa was the smallest I have ever seen considering the size of the hotel along with the Gym.
6.0 Good
Pros: The dinner was spectacular. Its worth staying in to dine at the hotel restaurant.
Cons: The hotel needs an uplift. The rooms have been updated but overall the hotel does not live up to its stars. It could be amazing...just felt a bit "tired" and needing more reno.

Pros: Check in was very simple and easy, location was in a silent calm place and stuff were nice and friendly.
Cons: We stayed in the hotel in February, so it was not so hot, floors were cold, but there were no slippers. That's a minor problem though. Also I wished there would be an electrical kettle and some cups.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice swimming pool with bar, where you can get beer!! ( as is not common in Morocco). Staff was correctly friendly. We had massage and good dinner.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our night in the Ronda Posada. It was a couple miles outside Ronda which was good as we had a car and the hotel offered free parking. While we were unpacking, a man wandered in on horseback. He tied up outside! Cool. Room was larger than most and very comfortable. Furnishings were more traditional. Our host, Antonio was wonderful and very accommodating. Thank you Antonio!
Cons: Our only issue was that for a place in the middle of no where, the wine, tho good, was very pricy and our meal, also pricy, was TERRIBLE. Hotel is undergoing renovations. Hopefully once high season arrives it will be better.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Over priced. We cancelled our stay after viewing the smelly room with aircondition that doesn't work because the hotel is switching it to a cooling system only in May. We had 30 degrees in the room.

Cons: No coffee facilities in the room. Expensive for average quality
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a Parador, so just the fact of staying here can be a kind of experience.
Cons: Well, the staff there was not that friendly nor kind. I have already talked with the facility to have extra bed at 44 euros of charge, but when I checked in she didn't know about it and tried to charge me over that. It took a bit more to check it again and I was not that satisfied with the room either since the room in front of mine kept making noises at 2AM and the hotel did nothing about it

7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location and staff very friendly ! Breakfast is not worth 7.50 euros
Cons: Our toilet was not working the first night as it would not flush so we had to use toilet in the lobby ! They fixed it the next day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an elegant old-style hotel with huge character and charm, in a fantastic location just a few short steps away from the spectacular bridge across the gorge and the old town centre. It's like hotels used to be, in a good way! The staff were so helpful and friendly, our room was a good size, very comfortable and tastefully furnished in traditional style. It's incredibly good value too. We had to cut our visit short due to the Corona Virus lock down but we will definitely return to Ronda and would not hesitate to come back to this hotel.
Cons: We liked everything about this place but if you expect your hotel to have staff who speak fluent English and multi-choices for breakfast this isn't the place for you. The breakfast was adequate and better than we expected for the price we paid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, bed was comfy
Cons: water pipe noise from the room next door
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, the room was large and we thought the bathroom was particularly stylish. In the evening, we loved the changing lights on the sculpture/bust outside our room.
Cons: The parking was a bit of a worry. The very helpful receptionist showed us on a map where to park the car but the road closures did not help. A bit stressful.

Pros: Location was excellent for sightseeing around Ronda but very difficult to access by car. Staff were very nice and friendly.
Cons: Not enough information in the room about the hotel and it's facilities, lack of international TV programmes. room needed dusting, No coffee facilities in the room. Shower tray slippery and therefore was a unsafe. there was no anti slip mat. Safe could not be used as it was broken and could not be repaired.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Great room with great view ! In the heart of the city.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent - beside the bridge.
Cons: When we checked in we were given a room down a side street from the hotel. The room was dark and smelly with a window onto a tiny inner courtyard. Our booking was for a 'superior room with window'. Due to noise from pipes we were changed to a room on the 4th floor for our second night. The breakfast was terrible with a very poor selection and on the first morning the plates were wet!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location and views were excellent. Staff were great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great. Difficult to get to because of some construction, but well worth the effort. We had an awesome balcony view of the Puente Nuevo. The front desk staff were great and very helpful. Ronda is a fascinating place that we'd love to visit again!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view. The bridge was right there outside our window. The bathroom was clean, modern and well appointed.
Cons: Provide a takeaway breakfast as we had to leave early in order to arrive at our next destination.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was really clean. We had a great view on the bridge. They provided a baby bed for free. We had a great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This a fantastic old hotel that has been updated. We were unlucky in that our stay coincided with the COVID 19 outbreak. The staff were polite and helpful under very trying circumstances. Especially the housekeeping staff. The room has a gorgeous view and large patio. You can see the famous bridge and tops of mountains that ring the city. We would love to return to Ronda and this hotel.
Cons: I know this might not have been possible, but some food available would have been nice. The grocery worked but options were limited. A small coffee maker in each room would also be great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great ! with an amazing view from the hotel restaurant! Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: the elevator could be more convenient, but it's understandable as the building is very unique with its architecture and location
7.0 Good
Pros: Great view of the bridge from our room, which was a good size. Would have benefitted from a balcony, though! Very quiet at night, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. Reception staff very helpful.
Cons: No hooks on the back of the doors for hanging coats & scarves! Find this so often in many hotels we have stayed at in the past! I find it so frustrating!
7.4 Good
Pros: Spectacular view that can't be beat!!
Cons: Parking isn't free and they didn't tell us that until the night day.

Pros: The breakfast was very good with a good selection and in general a very good breakfast. Loved the decor and the way in which the hotel was restored. Exceptional staff and very helpful in every way.
Cons: The coffee was cold on both mornings but the staff rectified it straight away when asked. Some of the pasties and cakes were not fresh. The restaurant for evenings was too brightly lit and this did not create a nice romantic ambience.

Pros: Great location, great breakfast, very friendly staff,
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This nicely designed hotel is in the best location in Ronda, between the Parador and the bullring, facing west towards the bandshell and the valley. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional, and the value is exceptional. While the rooms we had were not large, they were well equipped, and had at least a partial view of the bullring, plaza and valley.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The New Bridge, main attraction in Ronda, is just 1 min away. The staff were very helpful with everything. There is one of the many viewpoints nearby in the park. This one overlooks the valley and the mountins. The views in this town are spectacular and you can walk through it in a couple of hours. Breakfast in the hotel was good, with something to find for every diet. Vegans will not have too much to choose from.

Pros: I liked the fact it had a bar/cafe where you could buy a drink. Receptionists were very courteous and helpful.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The spa is wonderful but an extra cost of 20 euros. I had it all to myself. It had stars on ceiling of swimming pool. Steam rooms, hot stones and warm relaxing beds. Hotel is very central great for seeing old city and restaurants.
Cons: The room for a single person had a strong funny smell like strong cleaning fluid. They put me in a room which had no natural light like a prison cell. I asked to change the room which the second receptionist did do. The second room also had smell but not as bad. Not much natural light. Although hotel has parking, you must pay 11 euros for a night. The parking bays a very small and it was a nightmare parking the car and getting out. You can leave the car after check out for 2 euros an hour if you want to look around some more.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delightful property with charming rooms. The dining room had wonderful views over the valley and mountain ranges and the covered courtyard was cosy and welcoming.
Cons: I have no criticism of the property or owners or staff......it was all perfect. My only criticism would be of booking.com whose link to the site, which we entered into google maps, took us to the top of a hill, along 5 kilometres of dirt track into a forest!!! Although this was only a few kilometres away as the crow flies there were no connecting roads and it was a long detour by car ( about 30 minutes) and therefore very frustrating.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location in countryside
Cons: Access roads into Ronda
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a gem. Family owned & run by people who really care. Fantastic food.
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were huge and decorated with style. The views were beautiful and the location was great next to the wineards and only short drive to Ronda yet faraway from the crowds of the city. Staff was very helpful and friendly and they served excellent dinner at the hotel in nice surroundings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, really pleasant and clear rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people were incredible helpful and generious with their time and advice. Would definitely stay here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! The view from the pool and dining area was breathtaking! Our room looked so nice and it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was super tasty (the best croissants I’ve ever had). The hotel staff was super prompt, helpful and kind! Couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay.
Cons: Well, the wifi was a little unstable, but who needs a wifi in a place like anyway? It’s the place to go to switch off from outside world and enjoy life.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were delighted to stay in this small boutique hotel. It was on a totally quiet street, and yet only a few minutes away from the boisterous (and fun) bars and restaurants near the Puente Nuevo. Our room was in fact a sitting room plus a separate bedroom, overlooking a pretty interior courtyard. Seldom do you find such incredible attention to every detail. The owner, Marivi, is a London-trained chef, so we quickly booked dinner one night. She asked us what we wanted to eat, so that she could go out and buy the ingredients! Leading up to the delicious dinner, we sat in the courtyard having a glass of wine of the Ronda region, in front of a real log fire which Marivi lit specially for us. Breakfast was another success, with creative touches perfectly served. She gave us a recommendation for a tapas bar frequented mostly by locals which turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Ronda.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was very friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations / what to do in the town. Our room was huge, very comfortable and clean. The location is good, it's a 10 min walk to anywhere in town although it's a steep walk up.
Cons: Having to leave our keys at the entrance was a bit strange but it turned out to be ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm ambient and amazing treatment we revived from Marivi. It felt like home. This is little hotel with only 4 rooms, so everything is personalized. Location is perfect, central... Breakfast is one the most important part of the experience. The food that Marivi cooked for us was mind blowing.

Pros: We love this small boutique hotel. Room is spacey, well-decorated, and clean. The bed is of the best quality in the whole trip to Andalusia. The host is a professional chef. Breakfast is at top level. You could also ask for dinner in the property if you book in advance. The property is located near Puente Viejo (old bridge). It is a short 10 minutes walk to Puente Nuevo and Ronda's historical centre. Easy to park on street.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: What a beautiful place in the country!! I had been given this recommendation by a friend and I am so glad we were able to stay here. The facility is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to have the window open at night and was serenaded by an owl during the night. Elisenda and Magdalena were wonderful hosts, very informative for things to do in the area. The cave was awesome!! We enjoyed a dinner on the property cooked by Elisenda's husband (never had the opportunity to meet him), which was delicious. We definitely will be back.
Cons: That we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer.

Pros: Everything - we received a very warm welcome from Eli on arrival and she provided lots of information about the area. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and offers everything that you could need for a relaxing break, it really is home from home. Pablo's cooking provided us with two excellent evening meals, and the gated courtyard offered secure parking for our motorbike. We will definitely return when we next visit Grazalema.

Pros: Eli and Pablo have created a lovely getaway not far from Ronda. Very peaceful with an excellent dining room and a large inviting swimming pool. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Eli was very helpful in pointing us toward the Cueva de Pilates, the site of cave paintings from 4,000 to 40,000 years ago. First experience of this sort for both of us, and it was breathtaking. Top marks to Cortijo Las Piletas; we'll be back.
