Enjoying views of Castle Thurn and Taxis and renovated in 2018, this guest house is just a 5-minute walk from Regensburg’s main railway station and makes an ideal base for exploring the historic city. Located in a listed building and featuring an old-style charm, the rooms are decorated on individual themes. All rooms can only be accessed by stairs. Breakfast is served every day. The Castle Hotel Regensburg is a 5-minute walk from the Old Town’s cathedral and pedestrian area, as well as the world-famous Steinerne Brücke (stone bridge). There is a public parking and underground parking in the surrounding area.

Pros (+) The staff that work at Castle Hotel were warm, welcoming, and couldn't do enough for you. They were happy to recommend places to visit, or things to do while in town and served a hearty breakfast to start your day. Not to mention the stocked beer fridge in the hall for easy access. My girlfriend and I would make it a point to stay there again.
Cons (-) No refrigerator in the room, noise from the street was loud.
