Pros: -Very clean
-Refrigerator had separate freezer compartment
-Pool was clean and stayed open until 11 pm
-Walls seemed fairly sound proof, but doors were not. I could hear our very loud neighbors while walking in the hall, but I couldn't hear them once in the room.
Cons: -Complimentary breakfast ends at 9 am and they were quick to remove food. A later end time would have been preferred.
-It's pet friendly, so you could hear dogs barking early in the morning.
-Location seems a bit remote

Pros: Liked the pool, spa, fire pits, lounging areas, suites, lobby, breakfast, reception salads, staff.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like!
Pros: Location, the bartender was pleasant.
Cons: Garbage truck arrived to dump at 4:30am and dumped on both sides of the hotel. The breakfast crew was less than helpful, I used to enjoy the option of cooked to order eggs, not a single person was offered anything.
Pros: For my needs, being in a city-central location was a necessity. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was presented well with all of the food kept fresh. The eggs were excellent and the sausage and bacon done perfectly. Very happy with the value.
Pros: This hotel had what we were looking for and more!
Pros: Excellent customer service. Front desk folks were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good, not the typical muffins and juice.
Overall an exceptional place to stay for business trip.
Pros: Great location close to facilities with a decent breakfast and evening happy hour included, and they are very pet friendly.
Pros: I had stayed here a few years ago - did a search on the internet and this hotel showed up as a great rate. We arrived a little late for the evening activities. Very comfortable room - loved the pillows. The morning breakfast was very good and a nice touch be be served. I would stay here again.
Cons: Next time I would request a room on the top floor as some people were up very early and bouncing around above us.
A great choice for a stay in Redding, Oxford Suites Redding features a free airport shuttle. You can relax at the spa tub, work out at the fitness center, or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and DVD players.
Pros: The room was very nice and it was great to have a full (small) kitchen, desk workspace, large closet, etc. Nice, central location in Redding. Free (included) breakfast was really nice too. Staff was very courteous. Pool and laundry room too!
Cons: The room had a diswasher in the small kitchen, but it was full of dirty dishes. When I mentioned it to the desk clerk, she was very apologetic and said she'd tell housekeeping. Housekeepping needs to be on top of that.
It was probably underrated at 2.5 stars was better than many 3star or higher hotels.
Pros: Nice clean newer hotel in good location.
VERY PLEASANT. AND, THEY HAVE 15%DISCOUNT COUPONS FOR A GREAT RESTAURANT . VIEW20. WITH VERY GOOD FOOR, AND GREATVIEW AND AMBIANCE. DON'T MISS.!
Pros: LARGE CLEAN ROOMS. GOOD WI FI. GOOD BREAKFAST.
Pros: We had a King Studio. It was comfortable and clean. There was a small kitchenette that, if we were staying longer, would have come in very handy. We are very happy with our stay and would definitely go back.
I would give it at least a 3 star. Exceeded my expectations.
Pros: Room with kitchen, included breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff, very clean.
Great deal for under---
Pros: New,Clean,Price - 3 stars
Cons: Location,,turn on your GPS
New, clean extended stay type property with kitchenette, nice work station/desk. Perfect for business traveler.
Pros: New, clean. Kitchenette provides a homey touch. Definitely exceeded star rating.
Cons: No. Hotel exceeded my expectations. I know there are star limits because there is no onsite Resturant, but I still view this property as a 3 star minimum.
I checked into this hotel after a long day of driving by which point my brain was pretty much mush. The associate at the front desk, I believe his name was Geoff, was amazing, kind, patient, and helpful in my exhausted state when I was stumped by such questions as 'what is your last name.' I was very pleased with this property and all of the staff I had the opportunity to interact with. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast offered a good variety of breads, yogurt, waffle maker, cereals, milk and juices. Hotel provided complementary laundry soap and dryer sheets as well as dog treats for our pup.
Pros: Pet friendly, huge room, clean, laundry on site, kitchenette was fully equipped.
Pros: Funky layout of the room - different; kinda nice.
Cons: Breakfast was spectacularly uninspiring....
Room has minimal amenities. But overall clean and new. Probably in line with what we actually paid on 'Express Priceline'--but would question what they are asking for the full price online.
Pros: Clean and new.
Cons: Minimal room. One wastebasket.
I would recommend this hotel highly. The staff were friendly and genuine, and met all of our needs. There was a kitchen in our room, which would be great for someone needing an extended stay. Breakfast was basically a full regular continental type as well as waffles which was great for us, and what we expected from the hotel information. Everything was very fresh, and the woman taking care of breakfast was very nice and approachable. Our room was quiet and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great place. Thank you Priceline for getting us such a great deal! What an upgrade!
Pros: The quality of lodging for a great price.

Cons: ADA accessible room, though spacious, had no place to place toiletries in the bathroom at the sink
Pros: good restaurants within 10 minutes.
Cons: While we did have a nice visit to Lake Shasta we did find the pool to be the size of a postage stamp. We also discovered that our friends that went with us pait $20 a night less than we did.
They booked direct and we used Kayak. :(
Pros: nice place, guiet and great feel to it.
Cons: Mattress, it was said to be adjustable but didn't seem to be. The fridge never got cold and had to get ice to keep wife's insulin cold.

Fresh smelling, lots of clean towels, many soft pillows and very comfortable beds.
Parking available right outside our unit.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind?
Pros: Great friendly staff.
Pros: The beds were comfy and the rooms were nice for the price. Also the breakfast at Lumberjacks was delicious.

Pros: This hotel appears to be recently remodeled. Our room was very clean and nice. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There is a fridge, microwave in the room which was nice.
The staff was very friendly and helpful giving me locations of local places to eat.
The breakfast was very fresh, lots of good fruit and delicious waffles. My 3 year old loved it.
There is a new looking camera security system so I felt very safe when I arrived alone with my little girl.
Cons: They could probably add more towels if that's even a complaint? They only give 2 per room...
Pros: Upon check-in we were recommended the renovated rooms by the person working the front desk, though the rooms seem to be only up on the second floor for now. Only downside was there is no elevator so we had to haul our luggage up the flight of stairs. The room we stayed at looked nice and I liked the decor, though there is no carpet on the floor but what looked like laminate. The pool was nice and clean when we used it. The breakfast was ok. No hot food besides make-your-own waffles. The lady up front one breakfast though offered to fill up the waffle batter for a guest 10 minutes before breakfast was scheduled to end so that was shockingly nice to see!
Cons: The major discomfort we had was hearing the doors slamming shut, especially during the early morning and night. It was annoying to hear the click-clack over and over again. The doors or walls must be thin. Plus, the carpets in the hallway look like they haven't been cleaned in a while.
Pros: Good value, clean hotel
Cons: Traffic noise
Pros: Very up to date rooms. Very clean. Comfortable beds with 4 large fluffy pillows per bed!
Cons: Stay in an end room next to exit that was supposed to be locked at 11 pm and it was not. Around midnight a group of people showed up and we're very very loud.
Pros: Front staff was nice. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! First, the lobby had a weird smell. The staff had to change our room # two times. The first room didnthave a TV that worked and a/c was broken. The second room door keylock was broken and we couldnt even get in. The third room only got one channel on the tv and wifi didnt work but the room was clean so we just stayed. the hotel is not secure. all side doors are unlocked from 6 am to 11pm. The pool area is filthy and not secure. Homeless woman was "getting cooled off". The pool itself was filthy. The hottub was in a small room and the screens in the room were missing so if you open the windows bugs come in. The hottub water was green and literally smelled like pond water! Obviously we didnt go in. The free breakfast was cold cereal. One bruised apple was in the fruit basket. I wish I could say I was exagerating but I am not. Dont stay here!!!!
Located in South Redding, a short drive from rivers, lakes, snow-capped mountains, museums, restaurants, shopping centers, golf courses and casino. We are AAA approved/2 Diamonds. We offer: Super Start Breakfast, indoor Jacuzzi and Sauna, outdoor seasonal Pool, 27 Inch Cable TV w/HBO, ESPN, Am/FM Clock Radio, Copy/Fax service, free parking. Dogs allowed for a fee. Please check with hotel
Pros: Good breakfast, proximity to freeway, easy booking
Cons: Room smelled. Toilet took a couple of flushes to start working
Cons: Rooms smells
Cons: Space dedicated for smoking under our window.
Pool is too small.
Pros: Staff were nice.
Cons: The room was old dated and stinky. It had some horrible chemical smell. The smell pretty much tainted the whole stay. Overall this should not be a best western (plus).
Pros: LOVED staying here! My friend and I were on a roadtrip from Santa Cruz to Ashland, Oregon and just needed a place to rest for one night. We thought the beds were incredibly comfortable, breakfast was decent, and the room was clean and quiet. The elevator was really slow and hot, but honestly that's my only complaint. It was 107 when we were passing through but you never would have known it inside the room. Well worth the $100 to me! I would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay on a long road trip.
Cons: Slow elevator, weak fan in the shower
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Right off the I-5
Cons: The room was HOT, and HUMID, and smelled like a wet dog. I had to change rooms twice to find one that wasnt hotter than outside. The shower/tub was so loud I felt like I would wake the entire floor. like a really squeaky floor.
I thought I was upgrading the room so I would of had something the other rooms did not. Nope just got charged more. Hi-speed internet? I think it was as slow as it possibly could be. I had to go to Starbucks to connect, it was too slow in the room.
Pros: Nice location right on the 5, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice television and shower overall everything was pretty good. We left a watch in our room and the staff put it in lost and found and we picked it up 5 days later on our way home! Very trustworthy staff
Pros: New carpet comfortable firm bed HBO. refrigerator. Clean remote control breakfast selections
Cons: The hallway was narrow and difficult to maneuver the luggage trolley
Pros: Not much. Room was not air conditioned prior to arrival on a 100 degree day. It took sometime to remove humidity and cool the room.
Cons: This was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in. Very dingy. It would have been okay for $60 a night, but not 100 plus tax.
Pros: Value, close to sight seeing , access
Cons: Showers, missing dustbins, smell

Cons: WORST WORST WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ... be fore i book in this place i read the reviews and looked good while some of the reviews were pointing about the dangerous location. First night i park my car right in front of my room. Next day my car was broken into , a lot of things got stolen. If u plan to go to this horrible hotel plan to go without car or plan to let your car without any valuable (everything in my car was hidden). The worst part is when i went complain in the morning the owner was acting like something very normal and he was saying that it s more common in the other hotel (that s not professional to promote your bad hotel by saying bullshit about the others) While i was in redding to go see the nature the water falls i did not want waste my time calling 911 and doing the police report that will make me waste a lot of time. Guys just to let you know in case something wrong will happen this place they will not care about you and they will not stand by your side. A lot of drug users walk by the hotel 24/7 . I was going to the pool at 4pm i found 2 people using drugs next to the ice machine and using the same ice as the costumer of the hotel. Nobody care during the day as during the night . They only care for the money you gonna spend you get stolen you are unhappy it is not there business. I will go back to Redding for sure but THUNDERBIRD never more.
Pros: clean, easy room
Cons: a little noisy
Pros: Newer shower, flat screens, still some old charm.
Cons: If they stick you in the 300 building, it shares a parking lot with a Mexican restaurant who's dumpster's are in the alley right behind you. On the night we stayed, the trash company came to pick them up and drop them a few times starting at 5am. Would've been nice to have been told that this might have been a possibility instead of being jolted like there was a battering ram coming through the wall. You can hear big rigs moving through the area all night.
Pros: Stayed here before, it's ok, not a five star hotel, but it's good enough. Location is nice, it's downtown, close to food and shopping.
Cons: Can get a bit noisy with the traffic. Parking is not ideal, too small, not enough spaces.
Pros: Hotel was comfortable, staff was friendly, only a little road noise to complain about but nothing a fan couldn't drown out.
Pros: Beds were pretty comfortable
Cons: They didn't tell me at check in when breakfast was
Located near a train station, Thunderbird Lodge is a great choice for a stay in Redding. After hanging out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at La Cabana Restaurant, which serves Mexican cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The carpet was fairly clean which is a big deal to me. The pool and hot tub are great. Breakfast was mediocre.
Cons: It looks like it used to be a dumpy motel then someone bought it and slapped a very nice face on it and made it so you couldn't see the setup of the property. It's seriously tacky. The price was a joke for what you get and for the property. The coffee maker was something that was trying to be a Keurig and failed miserably.
Pros: very clean room, fabulous breakfast, great value for the money
Pros: I was very impressed by the fact that they have charging for both standard electric car charging but also two Tesla car charging stations. Strangely they do not advertise this fact in any of their amenities and I discovered this fact quite by accident. Had I known I would have chosen this hotel on a number of earlier trips through Redding which by the way has very few charging stations.
Cons: I have passed up this property in the past due to price however now I know I can charge my gas electric car overnight, I will prefer this hotel. I hope you do as well.
Pros: It is located in an area with many restaurants. They have their own restaurant and bar which was quite good. Many gas stations to fill up before hitting the road again. Nice size room and very clean with coffee provided. The buffet breakfast was quite good.
Pros: It was clean and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The rooms open to the outside. It needs updating. The rooms were dark.

Pros: Very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros: Bed comfortable
Cons: No fridge
Pros: Room was ready when we got there and it was clean. Internet worked and so did the cable. The continental breakfast could have been a little more continental.
Cons: The lady who checked us in was rude and really slow. I waited in line over 30 min with one person in front of me who had already checked in.
Pros: It was close to the freeway, free parking.
Cons: As soon as I walked into my room, I noticed what appeared to be dried vomit on the bed skirt of the bed with a large stain underneath it. I contacted the front desk, who changed my room for another. The tv in the new room did not work, so a technician had to come up and fix it. There was hair in the bathroom and black stains on the doors and walls. I wouldn't recommend families to stay there as the hallways smelled of burnt cannabis on Friday and Saturday nights.
Pros: Proximity to freeway. Restaurant next door.
Cons: Bed uncomfortable.

All rooms include free high-speed Internet access, a coffee maker, hairdryer, and much more. The hotel is centrally located on Hilltop Drive. Plenty of available parking!
Cons: The room smelled like cat urine and I was refused another room. I was unable to sleep and I will never stay at this hotel again!
Pros: The bathroom seemed newly renovated and looked nice. They also furnished a unique set of soap/shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/lotion. Comforting front lobby. Complimentary bottle of spring water in the room also.
Cons: Our room smelled exactly like my grandmother's house and had a similar old-fashioned appearance. In-room coffee cups were not clean. Pool was open in February, but needed some leaves/debree cleaned out.
Pros: Breakfast was included and very good.
Very friendly staff.
Cons: Someone was trying to get into our room at midnight.
I was told a downstairs room but given an upstairs one.
Lots of walking to get to the room.
Pros: Staff went out of their way to help with several problems I had.
Cons: Don't believe the photos posted by hotel. Rooms are outdated, unclean. Its not a hotel, forget about 3 stars. It can be considered a cheap MOTEL with 0 stars. We were checked in to a room that has broken safety lock. When we reported it to front desk(Christina), they seem to already knew this and told there are no other rooms to swap. They promised to fix it the next day, but they didn't. Calling housekeeping goes to voice message and no response after that. No room service, nobody will attend your phone call for anything. Sticky carpets with stains, old unclean curtains, broken bathroom doors. No extra towels in bathroom. STAY OUT OF THIS MOTEL.
Pros: Proximity to I5 & Pool for kids.
Cons: Security is a joke. Even with lights and a security guard, your stuff in your car is not safe. Security Guard watched a guy steel my bike. (he actually told me this). Staff was going to call us back to follow up - never heard a thing.
Beds worn out big time and not enough towels for a family of 4 - booked for 4, got 3 towels - left numerous messages to get more towels, but never got a thing.
Very very disappointing
Pros: The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing! We had a terrible time with the booking site & the front desk staff were helpful, supportive, & really accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff there were also amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and our clean and comfortable room.
Pros: Nice TV, comfortable bed. Wakened by house cleaning at 8:00 am.
Pros: Having the restraunt on site. We got in late and didn't have to leave to eat. Also was great food.
Cons: Bathroom grout around and in tub was filthy. Carpet haf stains. Room service knocked on the door at 9am even with a do not disturb sign.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The heat and cooling was adjustable in the room! The food in the restaurant was very good. The pool area and surrounding area was clean, safe, and beautiful. I would stay there again and I recommend it to others visiting the area. Oh, there is a little patio area outside each room accessible by a room sliding door with a protected lock.
Cons: I can't think of any.
Pros: Our room was clean, updated, and the staff was nice. However, both my husband and I had a very hard time sleeping at night due to the mattress. I wouldnt say that we have a very good matress at home either, but the mattress at the hotel was painful!
Pros: beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Pool, spa, gym all great
Cons: Price was a little high when booking thru the hotel, but kayak got us an excellent deal. Water pressure was lacking

Pros: Cleanliness, Location, Staff very friendly, Good menu. I'll stay there again!
Cons: Not a thing!

Pros: Hotel is new. It was clean, and the room was more spacious than depicted on the website. Good for even an overnight hotel stay. It wasn't noisy and you get better entertainment than at a regular hotel. I was impressed and would stay again.
Cons: Location isn't that great.
Pros: It was so nice that it was smoke free. The pool and spa were very clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Affordable price.

Pros: We've stayed here many times on our trips between Oregon and California. It's a half-way point for us. This time we were pleasantly surprised by the remodel! I think we were the first to stay in our completely remodeled room.
Cons: I still wish they would put coffee makers in the rooms.

Pros: The staff did the best the could in a horrible situation
Cons: Because they had broken equipment we had to pay in cash. I was left with no actual money and in fact had to borrow change from another patron to pay. Especially since I was in an unknown area and not finished with our vacation this made me angry and frustrated. What really bothered me was it was late at night with a youth order and we had prepaid for the rooms and they couldn't see. So I paid twice for a horrible stay! Never again will I stay atbmotel6
Cons: The sheets on the bed were disgusting.. They were dirty and after driving 9 hours and getting there at 2 am my wife and I had to sleep on one bed with our kids.. All they did at the desk was was say sorry.
Cons: No iron and ironing board is a deal breaker. Was attending a funeral next day and needed to press my clothes. The staff's attitude was not helpful
Pros: Easy access to the freeway, restaurants, and shopping sites.
Cons: When the water was turned on in the bathtub before turning on the shower, it was extremely noisy, sounded like a jack hammer breaking concrete. Thin walls, could hear conversations and tv from adjoining room.,
Pros: Modern room updates; nice pool.
Cons: Very outdated pay for internet access...just add it to the room charge as a pseudo tax.
Not every room has refrigerator and microwave; no amenities like coffee maker, shampoo.
Staff and web site make no mention of differences in rooms except for size of beds.
Pros: It has what you need to crash for the night. Nothing special but has the necessities to get you through the night, and HBO.
Cons: Signs every 15 feet saying not responsible for your car getting broken into. Also there were not one but two spiders in my room.
Pros: Cheap and where I needed to stay overnight.
Cons: The most ridiculous process to check in, took forever. They charge for WIFI. No shampoo just bar soap. Tiny bathroom, hot water kept going cold after a few minutes of showering. No lock on bathroom door. Lots of stupid little stuff, seems clear Motel 6 is cutting corners, I will definitely just stay at one of the other MANY options in price range that provide WIFI, breakfast, and take pride in their property.
Pros: Clean, inexpensive and comfortable
Cons: The front desk staff member who was assisting guests that night was completely incompetent. I had never seen a line for checkin at 11:30pm until I came to this motel. It took ~1hour to get checked in to the hotel.
Pros: I use this motel often. Great service and pet friendly
Pros: Easy access to the freeway.
Pros: Comfortable bed at an affordable price. Stayed 10 days so far, looking for a place to rent.
Cons: No fridge, microwave and have to pay for wi-fi.

Cons: I needed to stay an extra half an hour. After staying there 4 days. He insisted I pay $20
Cons: When I arrived on a Saturday evening, the office was closed, locked, lights out. A handwritten note gave a phone number to call, but I had no cell phone. I found another place to stay.
