Pros: The rooms were great, the bathrooms were the best I've seen. Amenities were excellent. The staff was attentive friendly and helpful.
Cons: Internet situation was weak. Kept getting message that I used my days allotment. No way. only checked FB emails and weather. Never streamed anything. Even mid range hotels in NZ have free unlimited wi fi. Got coupon for reduced breakfast but reduced price was advertised outside.

Pros: The staff is so very welcoming and accommodating. Great location - steps away from the shops and restaurants. Very comfortable room, comfy bed with soft linens - large bathroom including a jetted tub. wish we could've taken the hotel and staff along to our remaining destinations throughout the South Island.

Pros: Either on the website or on Kayak.com it stated that the hotel shuttle to the airport would be $13 nzd per person. When we got there they told us that they don't offer this service. We only had exactly $26 nzd left. This was our last day so there was no need to have New Zealand currency. I shared this with the hotel staff and to our pleasant surprise, she ordered us a cab to the airport that was $23 NZD fixed price. We were happy we were able to spend the last of our New Zealand currency and not have to waste it on something at the airport. I appreciate the hotel staff being attentive and making sure we were comfortable by all means.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit cramped. I actually hit my tooth on the towel bar as I was trying to sit on the toilet. Luckily I didn't chip my tooth but it did hurt.

Pros: Location waterfront straight on the queenstown trails. Great rooms, beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom massive. Amazing service and yummy breakfast. Great facilities.
Cons: Smallest downside is most of rooms don't face the remarkables but Queenstown is scenic. Otherwise there is nothing I don't like about this place.

Pros: The rooms are typically Hilton, nice and quiet with beautiful interiors. The staff were helpful and polite. The housecleaning did a great job every day as well.
Cons: The resort is a long way from town,So a hire car is Recommended. In saying that,it is closer to the ski fields and more relaxed.Theres a water taxi which helps if you wish to get to town.Taxis are over $50 one way to town. $5 coffee at breakfast is annoying.(the provided coffee is ordinary) Make sure you get a complimentary breakfast when booking. It is very expensive otherwise, especially for people who don't eat too much for breakfast.

Pros: overall the hotel was nice, its a Hilton. it was spacious and there are things on site like restaurants and a cafe for you. the staff was great, management- not so much.
Cons: location was far from the center of queenstown... a $40 cab ride. you had to reserve the hotel shuttle (which filled up during popular times) or take a $10 water taxi. kind of inconvenient. lastly, we had to leave early due to a family emergency and the management refused the credit us or help in any way.

Pros: It was clean
Cons: We were travelling around in a four wheel drive and booked an en suite room. The worst value for money so far in NZ. We tried to change rooms, but nothing else available other than a two bedroom, which we didn't need and was very expensive. Sanne pointed out that the room was as described on the web as I booked it. Not true, description was misleading. Very poor facilities and room not serviced daily. The bathroom and bedroom windows were fixed and did not ope. The outlook was a 30 ft metal rank with graffiti . They also needed the blinds pulled down as we were overlooked by the laundry room and a corridor. No kitchen facilities therefore washing up and kettle filling only available via bathroom basin, poor and unhygienic, if not illegal! Other guests often ran past the patio doors causing a nuisance throwing ice packs onto the veranda outside the patio doors. We were also above the drinks machine for cokes etc. often used in the small hours, causing our sleep to be disturbed. Much better value elsewhere for less money. Queenstown is a fun place, but glad to leave this accommodation after 3 nights. Very tired site in need of a complete refurb in complete contrast to Te Anua which we stayed at just before this one. Now appreciate that each site is a franchise and therefore lacks consistency from place to place. In short, to be avoided completely.

Pros: Every time I'm in Queenstown and need to get away from the chaos that is hostel living, I stay at the Novotel. it's to the point where they're beginning to recognize me. It's always comfortable, clean and a place to retreat, even if only for a few days. It's well-priced for what you receive, is in the perfect location and the staff is always extremely helpful and pleasant. Also, I filled out a survey the last time I stayed and they actually responded and addressed the suggestions I had. Will stay there anytime I'm in Qtown.
Cons: You have to be a member to get WIFI. They have computers you can use in the lounge for free and each person can get 30 minutes of free WIFI a day in the lounge but it would be nice to be able to get in anywhere in the hotel/in your room.
