Smelled like "the dog wing" where our room was.. Primarily in the entry hallway. If they replaced the carpeting the rest was fine.

Arrived one day late due to flight cancellation, yet the hotel staff esp liz were kind enough to charge me only for the days that I stayed.. Nice, clean and spacious room and the cleaners would clean the bathroom and the room everyday when I would go out for a walk. Close to the town center and the lake... Extremely good value for money... Couldn't find a better hotel at this price.... Very very nice staff It is a bit of a climb coming back from the town center..

Very comfortable, good food at a reasonable price, helpful staff, especially appreciated roxanne who went out of her way to see we had a good holiday. I would recommend the heartland to friends. A little hot with solar gain in afternoon. A fan available would be great.

Prompt, friendly and attentive staff. Eager to help out where possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Great water pressure (definite hot water savings by upgrading to modern shower heads with aerators) The shower curtain does not allow a good seal around the bath tub and so the trim around the outside of the shower and on the wall gets dirty and unsightly. The trim could also do with caulking to make it waterproof.
