Pros (+) The hotel was perfect for a stop over between flights at JFK.

Pros (+) Breakfast was served from 5:00 am. Since we had an early morning flight, we were able to have breakfast before boarding the shuttle to the airport. In many hotels, breakfast is not served until 6:30 am or 7:00 am.

Cons (-) Limited staff, rooms have a extremely strong odor especially on the first floor. Hard to breathe inside these rooms, I was very frustrated and disappointed overall.

Pros (+) We had an overnight layover and an early morning flight, so the proximity to JFK and the convenient shuttle service were major considerations. The room was clean with comfortable beds, and the staff were very good, although we were unable to get a receipt because the system was running something when we checked out. The shuttle was speedy and prompt with courteous drivers.
Cons (-) While the location is convenient to JFK (or maybe because it is), the neighborhood was such that I would not have felt comfortable going outside the hotel alone. It was also right next to the Queens Sanitation Department--that did not impact our stay, but gives you a picture. The hotel could definitely use some updating.
