breakfast walking distance to attractions room music from downstairs bar loud until 3am
rooms and deco were just amazing. Fantastic fresh atmosphere.. lots of young people and young stuff. 10 min walk from Old Town and Charles Bridge... My room was not cleaned on one occasion - same things happen to my friends who also stayed in the hotel. Other than that - no issues!
I liked the ambiance, the staff were very nice, smily and very helpfull. The room and bathroom were very clean, I also liked the decoration and the furniture on the bedroom. I was just surprised they didn't renew shampoo and shower soap.
Excellent, happy and kind stuff! Variety of breakfast could be higher.
Perfect! Great hotel, we stayed in a double room, Eco friendly, comfy beds, super clean, shower pressure and temperature was excellent, great breakfast, social environment with hotel downstairs and a separate lounge area, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. We were able to pickup wifi in the room and around to hotel for some reason our iPhones wouldnt download email. Not sure why, every other hotel it has worked fine, it would only pickup facebook updates.
The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel bar was great. The design of the room was modern and light and very comfortable. Everything is in walking distance. The price was right as well. If this hotel is the price range you are looking for you must stay here.
It was a very pleasent surprise to discover this hotel. We never seen so excelent unification hostel in hotel. Rooms are designed very modern, staff is warmly, they all speak english very well and they were always ready to help us and answer all our questions. Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Charles bridge and main square, but only few minutes from some great bars. But each evening there is live music or something going on in hotels bar so you don't even need to go out at night. If we ever come back to Prague, we'll definitely stay in this hotel again.
We've travelled all around Europe for the last 5 weeks, and this hotel was by far the best we've stayed in so far. Excellent value for money, a large modern room with all you could ask for - free internet, dvds free of charge, two air conditiioners - one in the bedroom, and one in the living area - all for 55 Euros a night...fantastic!
The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The room was rather small and the window looked out onto just other walls and windows. There was also a a club nearby and I could hear the thumping base sound all night long and therefore was unable to get a good nights sleep.
Fantastic Location,Will stay again.Loved the memory foam matress.Staff friendly, hotel very clean & comfy.
Room was dirty, my bed was full of hair. And they did not have any new blankets to change it. Breakfest was a disaster, food was never changed. Once it was gone it was gone. Moreover there was no variety and i got sick because of the eggs. Definitely not a 4 star breakfest. The location was also quite bad, directly next to a club/bar and sex shops.
Very good service from the hotel staff with clean and quiet environment. Room was slightly narrow.
Room furniture, equipment, doors, etc. are brand new and avant-garde designed. Wi-Fi connection is free, plus extra PCs at the lobby with the possibility to print (e.g. boarding pass for flight). Details like bathrobes are excellent (like Wi-Fi, this is something that is not included in higher-priced hotels). Staff is extremely helpful and nice. Location is quite good, near Wenceslaw Square. I've been twice in this hotel and each time we booked two rooms. One of the rooms, the 104, is very small, while still offers all advantages mentioned above. The most direct street to Wenceslaw Square is not very nice.
Extremely well run hotel, the staff could'nt have been more helpful, it was really quite impressive We had a deluxe room on the 4th floor, it was a little like being in the eves of the hotel and we didn't have a view as such, wondered if we had been put in this room because we had a deal, the hotel certainly not full.
This hotel was clean and tidy.
Comfortable beds, luxurious
Staff very helpful & friendly. Room spacious and very comfortable. Free mini-bar a welcome bonus and very much appreciated. The organised transport to & from the Airport worth while. Very enjoyable if a little expensive. Is about 15 mins to Wencelaus Square, which was not a problem, as we made good use of public transport (tram). Put a non-slip mat in the bathroom - a small detail, but important to older visitors in particular.
Everything. The hotel was lovely and quite at night with no noise disturbance. The food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent. There were nice little touches to the room, including daily fruit and petit fours, and champagne on arrival. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely, as was the double bath and large walk-in shower. All staff were couteous and friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast is served 'til 10.30 which allows for a cheeky lie-in. The suite was definetely worth the upgrade. The hotel Mercedes is very convenient and comfortable. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Wencelslas square, (30 mins from old-town square), but that gave us the chance to walk off some calories and see some 'real' Prague.
location in the quiet place but not far from main attractions of the city
Luxury accomodation at a reasonable price
We got married in Prague and the staff of the hotel and the place itself added a lot to the atmosphere of the wedding. It is a very romantic place to stay in, the hotel design is very beautiful, the rooms are amazing, very quiet place and a great view from the rooms. They decorated our room at the day of the wedding and reserved the library of the hotel for our dinner after the wedding, not only reserved but also decorated it and also put fire in the fireplace. They have very tasty and various breakfast. We have some misunderstanding with emails with the hotel staff, and the hotel provided free airport pickup since the misunderstanding was related to it. The minibar is free and provides a good choice of items!! Very very beautiful hotel! The hotel doesn't have free internet access which is very strange and uncomfortable considering the whole experience.
Very helpful staff, complimentary mini-bar and airport transfer (one way). Food in the restaurant was far too salty which ruined the dinner we had, really poor for a 5star hotel. The package included airport transfer by one of the hotel's cars, this was only one way though and they wanted 1000crowns (£40) to take us back, I thought this was a bit of a cheap trick.
One of the best hotels we've stayed in so far! Excellent service by the hotel staff - very friendly. Great focus on small details that give that little extra. Staff doesn't hesitate to go the 'extra mile'. Would certainly recommend this hotel!
The room was lovely and spacious. They staff was extremely helpful and attentive. I love standard German breakfast, which is what they served, so I was quite happy. The location is good for people that don't like staying in the middle of crowds. It was quiet at night and we were on the ground floor. My partner didn't like the mattress, but I thought it was fine.
our suite was spacious, very clean and unbelievably QUIET!!!! the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! There was nothing I didn't like!
The location of the hotel (right in the centre of Prague), the friendliness of the staff and the good choice of breakfast the cooked breakfast was "interesting" but edible!
A/c Expensive laundry
We thought the design and functionality of the room was very good. Also the facilities within the room were top class. The staff were excellent and spoke very good english and were most helpful.
excellent location, large modern room
Location is very good - pretty near to the Narodni Museum and that central pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. Rooms are large and clean, bathroom is pretty large, lots of appliances inside. Staff is polite and speaks good English. Price is just perfect. Breakfast could be a bit better.
secure car parking in hotel, cot for baby provided free of charge
that is very close to the city center within walking distance from the main parts f the city very limited park places, if we have been informed correctly!!! and high prices...20 euros per day!! Also, the woman-receptionist that we met when we came to Prague on the 15th of August (Sunday afternoon) was totally rude, irritated and I was just about to call the manager hotel, unlike the three men that were the next days who seemed to be very nice, polite and willing to offer services
Good location, breakfast was excellent, room and staff great Auto park underground at 18E/per day was high!!
The location is really good. The bed is quite big and the bathroom as well The staff seems not so friendly, no smile.
The service was good. There was always a helpful person to speak to with regard to queries. The hotel was not noisey, so sleeping was no problem The shower in my room did not work.
it was clean, comfortable and spacious. Great value for money and i would return.
Love the breakfast. It was a quiet hotel..Love the location..and the front desk was always helpful.. No ice or ice bucket. So you had to go to the front desk to bug them about getting ice..I think we always need ice is an American thing..LOL. but the front desk always did it with a smile...
felt they needed to pay more attention to replenishing the breakfast food eg we waited for 25mins for scrambled eggs on 2 of the 4 days
Very convenient to get to the main tourist areas. Excellent staff, very helpful. Hotel very clean and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again. Would have been nice to have had tea / coffee facilities in the bedroom, also I found the bedroom and bar area chilly.
I do appreciate the hotel very much in comparison to other ones that we have seen around the area. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are always kept clean. It also had a nice bar to lounge with very friendly waiter/barman. Excellent hotel altogther and will use it again for the next visit. Location-a bit far from the famous bridge, but since it was close to the tram, we were then taking the tram to go places.
Extremely friendly and personable staff Clean rooms Quiet atmosphere Great decor No negatives come to mind
Excellent breakfast buffet, helpfull and smiling staff
We found the staff to be very helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious. The size of the room worked easily for two people. The only thing that we didn't like was that the windows were locked and they could not be opened. In a hotel in Europe, with the smoking that happens in the lobby and rises to the rooms, this was an inconvenience.
Very nice location. Pleasant bar on the ground floor. Nice service.
The location was excellent. good choice of food both in bar and restaurant.Good varied breakfast in nice surroundings. Windows could not be opened in bedroom.
Helpful staff, friendly
It's a beautiful hotel, and I honestly felt at home there.
This is a 5-star hotel still for a 3-star price. Excellent stay for business travelers.
good location, friendly stuff more choices of meals for room service
Beautiful room, great food, location wonderful! I loved it all.
Good service and breakfast well caterede close to metro and trams TV had many languages but only CNBC for English and CNN not working. nothing to relax with in room. No english newspaper not even Prague Times
Staff is friendly and helpful, service is very good, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast and room service were good, and it's ideally located to see Old Town on foot. This was my third extended stay in Prague and this was the best hotel I've stayed. There are several good places to eat (including tourist fave U Fleku) and two nice bakeries within a few blocks, plus a little grocery across the street. Tesco is a 15 minute walk if you want to buy regular groceries or forgot underwear or an SD card for your camera. You can see the Dancing House from the breakfast room. i will definitely stay here next time I'm in Prague. Nothing comes to mind
Trendy comfortable decor with friendly (very) helpful staff. Could smell the smoke from the lobby sitting room in my hall on the 4th floor
excellent location; good value at this time of the year; comfortable; helpful staff This is not a complaint but there is no place for suggestions. I thought that the lobby was not very welcoming, especially the area with the bar. I would have liked to have a drink at times but didn't like the area. I also had a problem with the placement of the small mirror in the bathroom. It was hard to see and therefore unuseable.
The facilities of the hotel and interior decoration quite nice. The staff at reception did not understand clear what I asked for when I asked to check a tel. number of the airline company.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Very plush and spotless. Friendly, helpful staff who always have smiles on their faces. Good sized well appointed room with huge bed. Cleaned daily. Hotel around 15 mins walk from both Wenslaslas square & Old Town square. Spot on breakfast with both continental & English. Cheap drinks from bar. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. Check out St Seriols church crypt (just around corner) for the poor soldiers who were killed during WW2, very moving. For a great, cheap meal turn right out of hotel, then right again, first bar/restaurant on right, 2 course meal & bottle of wine - £13, and good with it, wish I could remember it's name.
Comfortable, well maintained rooms. The breakfast was good and had many vegetarian options which was appreciated Location is slightly out of the centre and can be slightly unnerving walking back to the hotel esp after dark.
Quiet place, peaceful staff, convenient location near the centre on the city and the metro
The hotel has perfect location - just a step from metro and within walking distance from main touristic attractions. It is very easy to get there from the airport. The staff is very helpful and polite. And of course - low season prices are very, very good. Beacause of the "in the city center" location - the room was noisy. Also the room and bathroom was not perfect - everything seems to be "touched by time". Lack of all those small and helpful things that make your stay comfortable like mugs in the bathroom, sewing kit, pencil, free of charge mineral water. Air conditioning is operated manualy from the reception. The breakfast is abundant but a bit boring too. 4 stars for this hotel seem to be overated. The hotel deserves 3 stars - no more - and the low season prices are enough for such a level of comfort. If I had to pay a full price - I would be very disapointed.
Everything was great, location, staff, breakfast and cleaniness.
The hotel is very well located, only a short distance from Metro station I.P.Pavlova. On my arrival I was greeted by the very charming and helpful receptionist, Eleana. From that point I really felt the lovely warm atmosphere that exists in Hotel Tyl.
this was a return visit to Hotel Tyl as we had enjoyed the whole experience before.it is out of centre,so quieter but within easy access to public transport&only a shotrt walk from main attractions lack of tea coffee making facilities in room, but as we had stayed before we were prepared for this .taking our own travel kettle etc.
Fast internet, comfortable bed, air conditioning, great location near shops and the metro, great customer service, great value for the price, yummy and varied breakfast Nothing- When I return to Prague, I will try to book this hotel again.
The room was of 5 star quality. It was furnished beautifully. Location was also good whether you like walking or whether you prefer public transport. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. We didn't complain but it had springs poking out of it.
Breakfast was OK, Location - close to metro, friendly staff. Would recommend for two people only (double) We booked triple room, although our sone could stay for free if we booked double. I confirmed over emails big triple room and was promised that. When we arrived it was small double room with extra bed in it. They just don't have triples. Plus, we had problem with lock, so my bag with shoes and souvenirs disappeared ( I hope, it was only lock and visitors problem)
Bright and clean throughout. Staff always pleasant and helpful.
Ideal location for seeing the city, good transport links, easy to get to and from airport using metro and bus. No tea/coffee facilities in bedroom, the photo's on the hotel web site are misleading, the rooms look very big but in reality the rooms are very small with 2' 6'' twin beds. Booked triple room be aware this means a small Z-bed as the 3rd bed.
The location and the cleanliness were good. We were easily connected to the main train station and other parts of town. If you get a good price, the hotel is fine, but it is not a special hotel experience in any way. The rooms were dated, but not in an offensive way. The ventilator had no cover and looked very dingy. It was a typical 3* traditional hotel I would say that was adequate and priced for what it is, but unexciting.
Clean and staff were very friendly and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. Very handy for local amenities ie; trams, banks, metro and food.Only 5 mins walk to Wenslaslas Square and the hub of Prague. Hotel Very quiet at night. The only - was the sink in room 204 (our room) was badly cracked but as we never filled the bowl up this was not a problem and the remote needed batteries but the night staff didn't know where they were kept. minor problems
Mid October chilly outside temperature during my Prague stay look not very promising but each time I entered hotel again cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and nice hoise vibrations make me happy and fell at home. The positive energy of more than 100 years industrial art deco design building, sensitive approach of team converting it to hotel few years ago and finally but most important, the team running the hotel and in-front-of-you staff do the final touch and great pleasure. I don't mind close railway traffic
Very good. Some of the staff were not that friendly.
Everything you need. The location and Hotell is perfekt.
very good location, hotel staff is really friendly and customer oriented.Breakfast is international and really good. I would stay in this hotel if I go gain to Prag no negative comments
The location of the hotel is good. You can walk to the city center in 20-30 minutes( 2 km). But if you like, you can take the tram just in front of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful.
This is very comfortable new four-star in a location slightly outside of the main tourist centre but within very easy reach of it. The competitive prices reflect the location and the hotel is very good value. Free garage parking is particularly welcome.
The exercise facility was very nice. Good selection to choose from for exercising. The breakfast, although expensive, was a good selection and tasty. I felt that the hotel was the "bare minimum" when it came to comfort and services. The first day we were there, the towel warmer didn't work nor the plug in the bathroom for the hairdryer. On the plus side, we told the front desk and it was fixed by the next day. Our body wash in the shower was out for 3 days and never got refilled. We finally called downstairs to tell the front desk and she asked if they could just do it the next day. When we told them no, she brought us up a few little bottles to use instead. Heaters were turned up so high the entire time, we had to sleep with our windows open and our controls turned off to be comfortable. AC would not work. We told the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything about it.
I would reccomend an electric kettle in the bedroom
Welcoming from the staff was great, but the next moment ask for stamps for my postcard, she tend to be a bit rude... but they are helpful, helping us to book the city tour, and room service amazingly fast and efficient. They don't refill those coffee and tea bags, we have to call them for it. A bit irritated though.
Nice bright room. Good choice of breakfast menu. Very helpful staff. Value for money.
The room had a nice apperance and the breakfast in the morning was very good. The breakfast staff was very kind and provided us a tray to take food back to our room since we had a toddler with us. The location is OK...if you are looking to walk 1/2 hr., And figure out how to get to the city center on your own. But- next time I would pay the extra $50 to stay at a hotel in town. Parking is not a gaurantee...even if you email the hotel to 'reserve' a spot as I did! When we arrived we were told they were full!!! Fortunatly, it was a weekend and they allowed us to keep our car right in front of the hotel at no charge...although this was not 'secure' parking! But, it worked out for us- and there was no damage to the car! We also had a leak in the pipe in the bathroom... Not that big of a deal, we put the bathroom trash can under it and the hotel gave us a bottle of wine b/c of it- which was nice.
We found the hotel to be very convenient for getting around and was in pleasant tree lined street area. Our room was very good with all you needed provided, and clean Staff most helpful , restaurant good and breakfast good.Free internet service was most appreciated. Would definitely stay there again.
Location was great. Close to restaurants and easy access to the highway. Quite and noise free. Clean rooms. Unless you are there to sightsee and don't care about use the room only to sleep the place is quite bare. TV does not have any English channels nor is there any thing to do within walking distance
The hotel left a chocolate advent calendar as a gift on the bed which was nice. Very good breakfast in the morning that was included with our room. If you are willing to walk a good five to ten minutes to the metro this hotel is on the green line which connects to most of the major sites in Prague. The room stank of cigarette smoke when we arrived and was rather bland and poorly decorated, it could have used a sprucing up. We left the window open for the duration of the trip and that helped with the smell, however our stay was in December so it was quite cold. Expected more based on the previous reviews and on the fact that it was rated as a four star hotel. If you are looking for something that is right in the center of town this is not the hotel for you. Also, while there was wifi, it was rather slow.
It is at a very convenient location. Also the staff is really nice. I would stay again when I go to Prague.
The room was very nice if slightly tight on space. The bathroom and shower facilities were excellent. Unlike many hotels in Europe this one had non-smoking rooms. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of hot and cold foods. Room service food was also good and not too pricey if you choose wisely. Staff was very helpful. We loved the location and neighborhood, It's a short walk to the metro and tram but very convenient to the tourist areas without being right in them. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets and convenience stores. While not being the cheapest place one can stay it was a real value. We would definitely go back again.
Excellent location close to trams, which made getting about prague relatively easy. Excellent staff who were extreamly helpful and were always available to assist. This is a very clean hotel in a nice quite area with some excellent bars nearby. Try the Irish Pub (5 minutes walk) for a sucullent steak. (Cost about £45.00 for 4 people inc starters and plenty of Stella to wash it all down with). Would recommened this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Prague.
Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, good location.
The hotel was beautifully clean, staff were very good and helpful, food good
Some walking minutes from the centre, but very quiet location and very good access to all public transportation. Breakfast was really fantastic and full with warm and excellent dishes.Dinner in the hotel restaurant was perfect, I tried fisch and it was really nice.Well trained staff, friendly, helpful and multi lingual tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Location, in a great neighborhood, with little cafe's surrounding the area, easy to walk to at night. Close to the trams. They shut off the Air conditioning in the night so you woke up hot and miserable.
The hotel was located close to the center and metro locations so it was very convenient to all of the sightseeing areas. Also, I liked the fact that they offered currency exchange services, commission free, so we didn't have to worry about shopping for exchange places in the city. Breakfasts were good, but could've had a bit more variety. Pancakes and waffles would be a good addition to the standard bacon & eggs fare.
The size of the room, new renovated bathroom, very friendly staff and very good service. Helped us with reservation several times. The breakfast buffet was ok, but only 1 type of bread, and only butter, cheese and 1 kind of jam, so we would have liked some more to choose from.
The price is great for a four star hotel, the rooms are comfortable and the location is pleasant. Apart from Prague's infamous police and ambulance sirens, it was also very quiet despite being next to a well frequented road. The waiters (especially one rather tall male with long hair) should learn that it is considered RUDE to snatch away the plates of dining customers the second they put their fork and knife aside. Often, there is still some food left on the plate the the diner might just have made a little break to drink or relax a little before continuing to eat. I had to tell the waiter to give me back my plate - I don't know why you hire such inexperienced and inconsiderate staff. He wasn't really friendly either. No wonder we he didn't earn any tips from us that evening.
The location They where not able to give enough imformation about the Metro and Tram.
I can recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking or a good stay close to the center of Prague, this was one of the best hotel experiences I had the last years. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the rooms were clean and spacy. The beds were of outstanding quality and the breakfast was very varied and delicious. No negative points from my side.
The rooms were fine and access to all parts of the city was good. The quality of the staff and customer service ranged from excellent to unbelievably bad.
Location - 5-8 min to the subway station, a very short subway ride to the old town, or a 30 min pleasant walk there Staff - very attentive and helpful Breakfast - generous and good towels too thin
Staff was very friendly. I never could get the key to open my door, but they always helped and had no problem. It's a bit of a walk from the main squares, but public transportation is easy to use and only about two blocks away.
the staff was very informative
Hotel room was fairly big, bar was ok, breakfast was good. One female member of staff was extremely rude and seemed to lack any understanding of customer service or the concept of politeness. However other hotel staff where friendly and helpfull.
The hotel is extremely close to the main parts of Prague that we wanted to see. The room was really nice with everything we needed at a very fair price. If I were to return to Prague I would certainly consider staying there again. I thought that the hotel's restuarant was great for the buffet breakfast. However, I thought that the evening meal that we had there was not all that good and thought that this was an area that perhaps needed more work.
Hotel room was roomy and clean. Our room had views of the city. Staff were very helpful and assisted very willingly with inquiries. location was close to the city. Could get into the centre of the city (and most sites) by foot.
Very good location to Praha's sights. We were up grades from a superior double to a family room which made our 5 night stay even more enjoyable. Good breakfast included.
beautiful design at lobby, modern hotel, clean, big room, nice and professional staff, excelent breakfast; the free pick up at airport they had at the time was an excelent help; great choice if you want to stay several days you have to walk about 15 m to center, but its ok since its in a quiet street and easy to find
Everything was worthy of a four star hotel. Ideal location. The staff was very helpful. Good selection of breakfast. Everything just fine. The extra surcharge just for the use of a sauna is weird for a four star hotel.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were an excellent size, very comfortable and clean, and the hotel is just a ten minute walk from Old Town Square.
peace and quiet
Hotel is in good area, close to all but a little more quiet. Our bathroom did not have proper shower unit. Tub and sprayer makes a mess.
Clean rooms. Located strategically in the city centre, but in a quiet street. Helpful and polite staff
Lovely spacious rooms and bathrooms. I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast would have been nicer with bacon and tomatoes to go with the egg.
The bed was extremely comfortable after a hard day slogging around the city The tiled floor carried noise
very good value for money
Friendly and correct service at the reception, room is clean and silent due to the tripple glass windows, 10 min by foot to the closest metro line that will bring you within 5 minutes to the old town, breakfast was very complete (no bacon but plenty of scrambled eggs).Very good hotel for the price.
The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was very polite and nice. I enjoyed my staying at this hotel and will recommend it to my friends.
I did not suppose that the room would be so nice.It really valued the money i spent.
very good hotel, clean room, daily towel change, friendly personell, good reception service, 10 min. walkingdistance from centre, complete breakfast, we would visit this hotel next time.
just breakfast. Room is so so so small, i really don't know why it is 4 stars...
Superb room at the front of the hotel. Busy road in front of hotel but could easily shut out the noise from the room. Friendly staff. The multilingual head guy at breakfast greeted everyone as they walked in. Only 10 min walk to top of Wenceslas Square.
center, near the metro expensive meniu price for hotel guests
everything was excellent 1st class. Reception was most helpful and efficient. evening dinner was very poor. you need to revise your menu
proximity to metro station typical European hotel bed - rather flat & hard.
The staff were friendly and helpful The room was not well cleaned and the breakfast was mediocre at best.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Noir. The location is very central and only a few hundred feet away from the nearest Metro stop. The price was also very reasonable as it included a delicious breakfast and a fast Internet connection. The staff was always very friendly and incredibly helpful with all of our requests. Some very minor inconveniences and nothing that should dissaude anyone, but worth noting nonetheless. Like most old buildings in the Czech Republic, there are stairs in some very odd places. Once you walk into the room, you enter a foyer that leads to the bathroom and then there is a narrow set of stairs that leads to the bedroom. The bedroom itself is enormous, but if you are carrying large luggage, be prepared to haul it up a flight of stairs to your room! I also stayed in the top floor of the hotel, so as expected, it got quite warm. However, the air conditioning is more than sufficient to keep you cool once it starts up. Just don't forget to turn it on!
Nice location - walking distance to everywhere, friendly staff, nice architecturaldesign, comfortable bed, great breakfast The architech was good, but the engineer put in automatic light that would turn on without apparent cause or turn off too quickly.
Everything was ok, the room is spacious and clean, the bathroom comfortable and clean. the staff is very kind and helpful. breakfast is good and rich. the only little thing to be improved should be the "breakfast time": they close the door of the terrace at 10 o clock! (11 on sunday) and 30 minutes more for lazy tourists would be a nice thing :)
Its near the center Service
Perfect location in a walking distance to the main historical places. Fresh and modern interior, comfortable rooms.
The room was very quite since the Hotel is situated in an alley off Stepanska which however can be penetrated on foot at the other end to reach Charles Square. The tram stop is just round the corner. Cleaning of the room especially the bathroom needs to be improved.
Comfortable bed Free of charge Internet I didn't like electric lighting. It was dim and not comfortable for reading. And there were some troubles with Internet connection.
Staff was not fully trained and due to that we had problem with parking and payment for the hotel
perfect staff, the hotel has good position, parking in the hotel, nice room quite small breakfeast room, no big mirror in the room
Good location, nice, clean room. Very modern. Room size was very small.
hotel staff was always smiling and helpful
roms big enough, very nice bathroom, excelent breakfast. Relly excellent for this money.
I was presented with a complimentary bottle of champagne in my room and instead of standard room they gave me a suite. Nice surprise! Breakfast was dissapointing. Not enough choice and rather medium if not low quality of food. At 9.30, 30min before the breakfast finishes food was all gone and there was nothing much left for those who came down for breakfast late.
The room was much larger than I thought it would be. I was travelling alone and it felt luxurious. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing in that it sometimes did not look appetizing. There was also not a logic in how the buffet was laid out. But it still got the job done of starting my day with some food in me.
None Absolutely the rudest staff imaginable, especially the manager, who literally screamed at his own guests. The shower didn't drain (ever, not even in the second room they begrudgingly put us in) and they also had the brilliant idea of placing a mother and 23 year old son in the same bed. And they wondered why we were unhappy. To top it all off, this sub-par and pathetic establishment had hands down the worst breakfast buffet we encountered throughout a 45 day expedition through Europe. If you want a highly unpleasant bump in your vacation, this dump is your ticket to ride.
Clean, renovated and comfortable and friendly staff Breakfast is nothing to boast about, the staff speak some English but not much
Really Great!!! I was ordered 2 single rooms, but we get 2 doubles + complimentary shampagne for this price!!! Rooms are perfect, one was with 7m balcony! 7 min walk to center. 5 minutes to Underground. Unfortuanlly, we was in Prague just one night, but next time I know where I stay!
it is close to the center the restaurant was to red
The location was excellent.
good location, quality of room
The room was comfortable and the location was great The charge for spa services was a suprise
Excellent room, everything was brand new. Lovely deep red carpet throughout, large wall mounted LCD TV, mini-bar, safe in wardrobe. Nice bed with huge headboard. Bathroom is fully tiled and very well furnished with chrome shower controls and taps. Nice big sink, mirror and shaving mirror aswell as hair dryer. You get your own credit card door key, so no need to leave your key in reception when going out, which is nice! I had a choice of rooms, so got one with bath and shower. Although the bath was not full sized, it was still nice to have. My room was at the end of the corridor, so the outside was just a view of all the other windows facing in from the middle of the hotel, and therefore it was nice and quiet. The room has air-con unit with 15/20/25 degrees settings and 3 speed settings for the fan, so it's nice to be able to put it on the lowest setting for the minimum amount of noise at night. The breakfast was very good, with a choice of cereals, bread, rolls, butter, cheese, fruits, various jams and honey etc. Also had scrambled eggs and sausage (hot dog style), bacon and ham etc. The only thing I would say is that the apple/orange juice was watered down abit, didn't taste like 100% pure juice. This hotel is in a great location, only a couple of minutes walk from the museum at the top of Wenceslas square. My tips are; buy a 24hr or 5day tram pass, costing 100/500 CZK respectively, look on the time boards at the top to see which number you need for the direction you want to go in. Go across the river and take the tram to the monastry. Climb the "mini-eifel tower" for the best views over Prague, then have lunch in the resturant on the way down. Also have dinner in the roof-top resturant at the Hotel U Prince in the old town square (opposite the astrological clock). They have a huge menu (over 100 pages) and very reasonable prices, best of all you get to look at the charles bridge tower, castle and the old town square whilst eating. Absolutely superb, and the Hotel inside looks amazing. The fact that they charged for the jacuzzi and sauna. This isn't advertised.
the rooms were clean and warm. internet access, we had to pay for it while on booking.com it was mentioned that it was free of charge in all the hotel
The rooms are big and confortable. I never expected a wide flat lcd screen as tv, great! The hotel is only a couple of steps away from Venceslas Square. Great option for making tourism in Prague.
Good location, good staff, nice facilities, normal price 1. Some problems with breakfast: very bad orange juice, small glasses, supply interruption; 2. Switch off electricity and fire service (hope, that was an exception)
it,s location, size of rooms , a good breakfast. no coffee tea making facilitys in room. no shower screen around bath
Very good location; 3 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. Modern interior, heated floor in the spacious bathroom.
