Pros: Really exceptional place. The family in the hotel name is certainly fitting because that's how you feel here. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable in fitting with a 3 star room. The outside is very nice along the bungalows with plenty of well kept flowers and trees and the hotel is right beside a nice little lake. The best part really is how helpful and nice the staff are especially the owner herself. On arrival we were given some welcome green tea and snacks before our rooms were ready. Within an hour she had arranged dinner for us, booked us a full day tour on the lake for the following day and arranged our buses. Breakfast is lovely also. You are served a mix of Asian food along with fresh juice, coffee, eggs, tea, pancakes, toast etc. All very delicious. Thanks so much for your kind hospitality.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, the owners and the staff are fantatic and helpful, the bangalow is big, nice, comfortable. The situation is just perfect. The breafast the best ever, we stay 5 nights and everyday was different. We had a lot of help from the owners to book differents activities. They also have free bike for us. Just go there, I'll promess, you won't be disappointed. Thank you to everyone at the Trinity family

Pros: Everything, location, food, but the owner is very kind, makes you feel at home

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the hotel is amazing! clean, nice, great location! exceptionally delicious breakfasts, different every day! but ... the most important thing is ... Ma Htwe ... owner of the hotel ❤️ wonderful woman! takes care of everything! she cared about our sick son as if her own ❤️
Cons: everything was great!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very helpful, going the extra mile to make sure our stay was fabulous. Her recommendations for local eateries and activities were spot on and her attention to detail exemplary! The room was spacious with a nice roomy bathroom, Breakfasts were substantial and bicycles available to get around town. The absolute highlight was the boat trip on Lake Inle with Pasoe. He was sensitive to our needs and took us to a most stunning and secluded restaurant for lunch - the Lotus Garden. Everything about Trinity Family Inn is of the highest quality and I would highly recommend it to everyone!
Cons: Nothing to critique here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had read the reviews about the outstanding staff, and this was completely correct, they were unbelievable including organising a wonderful boat. The rooms were designed to an extremely high standard, and the breakfast was beautiful. A great example of a beautifully run family guest house which Myanmar thrives in. One of the very best places we stayed and we loved every minute.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fresh breakfast, very good location, surrounding had many very good restaurants, owner is warmly, a pretty yard
Cons: Towers and showers system can be improve a little
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner, professional and lots of good information on activities and sightseeing Good breakfast, fresh ingredients and every day something different. Lovely rooms with large shower areas, clean and really nice garden. From here you can go to restaurants by foot. Otherwise bicycles are available too.
Cons: Bicycles could be in a better state
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Family Trinity Inn was the best accomodation during our trip in Myanmar. We arrived early in the morning with the nightbus. Unfortunateley early check-in wasn't possible, because the hotel was completeley booked out, but we were served breakfast on the house. The Trinity Family Inn also provided complementary bicycles, which we used to cycle around the lake. We were provided great information by the hotel owner, where to cycle and what to do. I can also recommend to book the boot tour via the hotel. The hotel doesn't keep any commission and we paid the boat driver directly, who was great! Accomodating our wishes, bringing us to a great and quiet lunch place and staying with us on the lake until sunset. All in all I can only recommend Family Trinity Inn! P.s.: It also pays off to contact them directly and not via booking.com ;)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sanctum Inle Resort was Cozy sanctuary as like it's name. Everything was almost perfect, I'll go Inle Lake once more to stay at this hotel. Carefui and observant staffs, natural gardening and location made cozy serene atmosphere.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When you expect luxury service level from an hotel, you get the kind of service we received in this hotel. Since the first moment you enter the property, you realize that, yes, this is a very well managed luxury hotel; from the beauty of the place, gardens, furniture, classic design with a modernity twist, to the high level of the service provided by the friendly and very professional staff, everything in this hotel is organized to provide the guests a exceptional stay. We stayed in one of the suites with balcony over viewing the lake, which was really big and very well decorated and had a fantastic huge bed that gave us two great nights. The bathroom is simply great with plenty of space and with a great shower and, if you are in the mood, a bath tub to splurge yourself into it. The breakfast was great with plenty of food options and can be enjoyed in the quietness of the terrace which has a view over the swimming pool and the lake. We also had dinner there, at the restaurant, and the food is excellent, at "chef level", although the desserts can be improved to meet the high level of the rest of the meal. The bar is very pleasant and has a huge choice of beverages. All in all, this is a luxury hotel that we loved.
Cons: The room should have a reading light. Reading while in bed is really difficult.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanless, nice garden, modern design, room in european standard, however not really burmese feeling, but I guess this is really the best what you can find on Inle lake
Cons: Ambience during the evening is really poor. Since there is anything to do around the hotel (not close to the any other restaurant or city/village) would be nice to have at least an ambience music during the dinner. We were there during New Years Eve, and finished in the bed even before the midnight, sice hotel did absolutely none program after 9pm. Breakfest could be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent new years eve at the hotel - very nice. Its a great place to relax and enjoy the luxurious surroundings :-)
7.1 Good
Pros: Charming property. Large rooms
Cons: 1) wi-if was very poor 2) buffet breakfast was below par - hardly any options

7.0 Good
Pros: We had an upgrade to the Opera suite which was magical, thank you! The hotel it self was beautiful and staff was lovely!
Cons: It is sad to say that we joined the hotels boat tour and was unable to speak to the driver as he did not speak english. We were set to go to particular shops during the entire boat tour and unfortunately we were sold fake rubies. We found out after returning home. I would have thought that this is a reliable tour organised by the hotel that we can trust, however this was not true and it was very disappointing. DO NOT BUY VALUABLE ITEMS ON THE LAKE!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sofitel was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The rooms are grand, the staff are wonderful and there are plenty of tour options to see Inle Lake. We had the buffet dinners at night which were delicious and good value for money ($25 pp).
Cons: The property is as far south of the lake as you can go, which means it’s hard to get around and the car to town is expensive. If you are happy to be stuck in paradise for a few days then this is perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, scenery, large rooms, all beautiful, nice jetty and selection of activities. Very good spa and special thanks to lady December who made massage
Cons: Food is not really amazing , a lot of dishes taste the same and prices for eating are too high, slow and not safe internet, limited supply of water and shower gels in the rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location Excellent room
Cons: Some problems with the stuff Frequent power shortages (might be due to NY celebration preparation)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall a really enjoyable stay! Staff were incredibly friendly, great services offered, rooms more than adequate,... Would recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place. All the Staff incredibly helpful and good people. Loved every minute. Thanks to the whole team and one out of all - Jason! The location is breathtaking. The villa on the lake is the one to go for , even if just for one night, as sunset is spectacular. Massage was great too

Pros: Stunning view from our room! We stayed for 2 nights and it was good.
Cons: Selling things with bird poo. Don't buy nice souvenirs there. WiFi is extremely slow, which is not acceptable at the hotel of this level. They have a glass bottle for water at the room which has filled from small plastic bottles.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful and quiet hotel with a unique position, as you have access to the lake and the street. The rooms are very confortable and well decorated. Amazing view over the lake from the swimming pool, the restaurant and the junior suite (maybe from the deluxe room as well). A really magical moment !
Cons: The staff was very kind and helpful but only a few of them could speak English. (For your information, the manager can speak French!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wondefull stay at the Resort which is a very nice "boutique hotel" We spent 3 nights with our two children now adults Our two rooms both had a nice view on the gardens and the Lake The hotel has a private jetty which is very convenient : the first day we started for a full day on the Lake organized by the hotel, the second one we crossed by boat the lake and came back with bicycles to see the countryside. Both days were very enjoyable. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpfull. The restaurant is very good with fresh food both Asian or Western dishes. On top of that we could relax at the swimming pool looking over the Lake. The hotel is not too close from the Lake and quiet (you don't hear the loud noise from the boats) and at the same time convenient with its private jetty and canal to the Lake We definitely recommand the hotel for an unforgettable experience at Lake Inle Patrick & Claire

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, nice rooms with great direct access by boat to the lake. The staff were very helpful. There was a nightly turndown service to prepare the bed and mosquitoe net which was great as I hate untangling mosquitoe nets.
Cons: The pool closed early at 7pm and the jacuzzi and sauna were only open from 4-7pm which doesn’t give a lot of time to enjoy them after a day out on the lake.

Pros: Evrything was so great
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, the room, the side opportunities : spa & jacuzzi

Cons: We are enthousiast !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is really beautiful and relaxing. The hotel itself is beautiful too. The view from the bungalows is awesome! The breakfast was good.
Cons: We liked our first room (the villa) more than the bungalows because of the matras and the blankets. We wanted to try living in one of the bungalows to compare. A little far from Nyaung Shwe which means that you’ll have to pay for taxis to get you there and back if you want to go to a restaurant or bar. It’s around 20 000 kyats.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and very very helpful
Cons: The bad thing was breakfast wasn’t included and there was no Wi-Fi in the room until we kicked Up a fuss and they got a route especially for us into the room we understood that y fie was throughout the hotel with kids this is important

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly nice hotel at Inle lake: spacious and luxurious villas, very friendly and helpful staff, very good restaurant and a great pool. No noise except for sounds of nature. The hotel offers fair priced trips on the lake. We liked the breakfast a la carte more than the buffet style, cause it is very comfortable and everything is freshly served. Thank you so much for a wonderful time at your hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the property very much. Definitely recommend.
Cons: Food probably can be better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were nice and helpfull
Cons: A bit aged compare to picture
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful! All the staff are well trained, friendly, and helpful. The facilities are all very well maintained and beautifully designed -- so much teak! I arrived, exhausted and frazzled, by overnight "VIP" bus from Yangon (which I only recommend to those who either feel they need to atone for past sins, or who are so young that they can sleep in tank in battle). The staff welcomed me for early check-in, and I had a very good breakfast (at an extra charge, which is to be expected). The staff arranged a tour of the lake by private boat, which lasted all day, at a very reasonable price. My room -- lake front villa -- was amazing! Everything was perfect. The off-season weather was exceptional -- and I have the sunburned face to prove it. Inle Lake is an incredible place to visit, and I highly recommend splurging on a high-end hotel like Aureum.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: It’s an overpriced hotel. Once you are there, you are stuck. You don’t have a choice! We were put in a room with non-functioning aircon and the staff wanted to put an air cooler! With some convincing we were put in another room where thankfully the aircon worked. This hotel is avoidable considering nothing works here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food, very friendly people
Cons: Villa is certainly spacious (~100 square meters) for having two separate rooms with a door instead of a solid open space. I would prefer a separated bedroom. Family with kids also may like it that way. It could be my very personal subjective opinion for hotel owner consideration. Please do not consider as a complain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast. Secluded rooms. Amazing lake view
Cons: Would appreciate to be able to use the bike outside the hotel, for the bike rental is far.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful. The cute cultural and sustainable aspects are great. It's both central in the little town, and also right on the water so you can hop in a boat and go down a canal to the lake. The pool is amazing, breakfast was lovely.. we loved our stay!
7.1 Good
Pros: It looks beautiful. The location was good almost center of Nyaungushew, and right next to the boat station. The pool was very unique that situated in middle of the pond. The staffs were very kind; especially the man in the bar and the dining area. They were very friendly and professional as well. I love the breakfast, it was pretty simple but mixed asian and western well. I liked the breads and toast and variety of jams.
Cons: I didn’t like the bed and linens. They were pretty old and worn out, and not clean. There were yellow stains on the curtains. We stayed room 101 and no sunlights all day, and no mosquito nets. The both of the electrical outlets next to the bed were not working and i have to charge my phone in the bathroom. I was so disappointed about their facilities.
7.9 Good
Pros: Large comfortable room overlooking a small private lake. lovely setting and a few minutes walk from the town centre. Ok breakfast but very nicely presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: A bit faded for the prices they are charging. Curtains stained and torn, had to get stained bedding changed on arrival. Floating pool is a great idea but doesn’t work in practice as big air bubbles underneath mean it is very shallow. Restaurant food looks great but hideously expensive compared to what’s on offer in town. Wooden walkways are dangerously slippery when it rains.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is incredibly beautiful and well kept, we specially loved the pool area in the middle of the lotus lake The rooms are gorgeous and if you can book a room with a balcony, perfect for the rainy afternoons Breakfast is the best we had during our trip in Myanmar and we can also recommend the bar The other aspect we really enjoyed is the location in the center of Nyaung Shwe. it’s close to good local restaurants and tours if you don’t want to always be at the hotel
Cons: Nothing really Loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An oasis in town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, lovely layout of the rooms and right in the river. The restaurant is also a must do for dinner
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to boat station easy to jump in boat and explore the lake
Cons: Little bit noisy, because location close to boat pier and main road
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and polite workers, always there for help. Very beautiful and comfortable vilas ( better than some 5 star hotels). Natural soaps and shampoos. Good pool Good location Beautiful insides
Cons: Breakfast could be much better and complete
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I like this place in Nyaung Shwe (been here two times) because of their restaurant (shan fussion cuisine) and the coziness and confort of the rooms built on pillars on an artificial little lake. Breakfast is great too, and the hotel location makes it a good starting point for your day trip to Inle lake, explore the village or start a bicycle tour. There is a fireplace where to have a drink in colder winter nights which is a great place to meet other travellers as well.
Cons: Came here during this last christmas break and found that the price was a bit too high compared to my previous stay back in 2016. The hotel has undergone renovation, but seems that only in the outter facades; the rooms inside need some painting too.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely resort, quaint and comfortable. Spacious room, great terrace, comfy beds. Staff is super kind, helpful and efficient. Boat tour of the late was seamless, efficient and thoroughly enjoyable. Sunset views from the lobby area was out of this world. Food was decent and cocktails very well prepared.
Cons: Hotel and staff were amazing. The smell of burning agricultural waste by farmers in the vicinity was sometimes unpleasant but there is nothing the resort can do about this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from terrace, nice and clean interiors and amenities, the quality of services. The hot pack in the bed was so helpful, because it is very cold at night. The breakfast is excellent, was able to enjoy good local food.
Cons: Not in particular. The best hotel I stayed in Myanmar, so far, in terms of quality of services.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very peaceful location . Staff helpful in organising trips etc. Room comfortble but night times surprisingly cold. Need a seconfd duvet on the bed at night. You will need a coat to explore the lake in early morning in January
Cons: Staff need more training. Some english not well understood by serving staff. EG I would like by meat 'well done') They had an annoying habit of insisting that you sign for drinks/ food etc at the end of a meal when you are trying to leave and it took several minutes to organise. ie they weren't ready) . Drink orders had to be repeated several times then someone else would come and check your order and get you to sign. The whole process could have been a lot slicker: Take your credit card imprint on arrival. Take you order and room number first time around.........
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything, the friendly and helpful staff, the food, the wine, the location was out if this world, value for money, the cute gestures from housekeeping
Cons: I couldn’t fault anything with this resort
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was stunning. All very well organized in case you wished to take some tours, and excursion. We loved the fact that, we did a very early check in as we took a night bus, and we got a small snack upon arrival and nevertheless, our room was ready. Moreover, as it get cold during the night, we found the bed arleady warmed up by hot-water bottles.
Cons: Breakfast and dinner were good, but could be better. During night time, room could get very very cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing. The food was delicious. The view from our room was exceptional. We did several tours and activities that were all so much fun. I would stay here again and I hope I do.
Cons: nothing

Pros: We choose the river view room. And it worth the value. The room was amazing, large, clean and comfortable. Amazing bathroom and shower outside. Congratulations to the spa because of the princess massage. In the restaurant the food is good a serve big portions. Really quiet place with a lot of birds. The provide a cake for my girlfriend birthday
Cons: Breakfast could have more options. No buffet, only a la carte. The surroundings of the the pool should be treated. The service in the restaurant should be more efficient ( my girlfriend ask a mojito, when it arrive the ice was almost melted) The plugs in the room do not work or were damage) Forty dollars for taxi to the airport. They even carry our bagages

Pros: The hotel and location were beautiful But it was the staff that made the difference

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a library. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay in ostello bello! In the beginning we booked just for 1 night but after we stayed 3 more nights. They have a very nice rooftop bar, a nice common area with free coffee and tea. They have a kitchen and you can order food and drinks if you are tired to go out. It is close by bike rental places, shops, restaurants and the bus stop. We partecipated also a lake trip with other guys from the hostel and it was a lot of fun:)
Cons: - A buffet would be a better option for breakfast - Doublecheck the informations about sightseeing and visiting the places around because we received some false informations about the tofu village
6.7 Good
Pros: It is centrally located and walking distance to everything you need.
Cons: For the price you pay, you'd expect to have a shower that doesn't dribble out of the showerhead.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really good hostel, social vibe and lovely staff, even got a Christmas present!
Cons: A bit too expensive , especially when you can get a private room for ~$15 round the corner
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was basic, but comfortable. The premise is actually a mix between a hotel and a hostel. This facilitates meeting different people. What I really appreciated is the fact that the hotel suggested different activities in a way that different people could sign in to participate and to split costs. I visited in this way the Inle Lake (with people I met in Ostello Bello).
Cons: There is some noise from the rooftop until 22.30 - 23.00. However, it is important to mention that the hotel warned me about it. The breakfast is a set small meal - there is no choice.
1.0 Poor
Cons: The first night, a girl was having sex in the bed above my bunk, I went to the reception to complain because it was impossible to sleep, the entire bunk was moved, the reception girl acted as it was something common since she was not shocked, it is a party hostel, you have to pay on arrival so you have no option to leave when you do not like it because they do not return the money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, especially the rooftop
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great here. I really enjoyed the tours with Maureen. Everyone was really helpful and friendly here. I would highly recommend
7.7 Good
Pros: Good location. Nothing wrong with it.
Cons: The converted hotel took away from the feel and culture of f a good hostel. Structurally wasn't as conducive to socializing.. it just felt weird. They should remodel the lobby area.

Pros: Staff are amazing, welcoming and caring. The bed is spacious and super comfortable. Spacious room, shower with hot water all the time.
Cons: Curtains are only semi opaque, so room gets litten on sunrise. Breakfast took place in the nearby 81 central hotel (not a very big deal 30 secs walking). Shower head is fixed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely and helpful. Confirmed our bus and helped us book a lake tour. Breakfast was tasty, buffet style with Asian and western options. Beds were comfy, shower was a good temp and pressure. Lots of space. Good amount of food and such in our area. We finished our trek here and it was luxurious afterwards to stay here. There is 81 hotel inlay and 81 Central hotel located 1 minute walk from each other, same company but the Central is the newer one. We stayed at Central. They also let us have a shower before getting on the bus at night, nice touch.
Cons: Not the hotels fault but there were pigeons nesting above our room (5th floor) that were quite noisy early morning, during the day till around 7pm. If you like to sleep in, don't stay on that floor.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: good location nice staff there is not internet at all
Cons: supply internet, or indicate to inform this problem

Pros: Loved it

Pros: Being able to store luggage and free shower facilities after checking out. Great friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing bad to say.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location in walking distance to the boat pier, night market and old town. Good breakfast, helpful staff
Cons: very weak or non existent WiFi signal in the room, had to go down to reception to use. Breakfast was taken in an ajoining hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly friendly staff. They checked us in 9 hours before the official check-in time, i.e. around 5am (yes, we all love Myanmar's overnight buses :-P) with no extra fee. Always smiling and polite. Awesome huge breakfast - personally I think it's even too big, since I was never able to make it, eating maybe 1/4 of the food served - I guess they must be wasting lots of food..
Cons: maybe too much mosquitoes in the area but it's not the hotel's fault, obviously.

Pros: I loved everything about this place. Boutique, beautiful location, incredible swimming pool, views on the lake side and privacy were amazing and the backdrop to the mountains was breathtaking. Take the boat ride to the property when they offer you the airport transfer - so worth it! Do a the half day private boat tour for about 35USD - he takes you anywhere and everywhere. Will be coming back to discover more and get away from it all!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I even didn't see 1 insect in dining room, only this hotel sucessfully to do so after I stayed in 4 hotels. I can feel the warmth and careness from the hotel staff, they are so thoughtful.
Cons: The lake view room is still a little far away from the lake.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location, the pool, the rooms and the service are very good & nice.
Cons: BUT everything is charged extra and massively overpriced. It seems, as if they constantly try to fool their customers. In the end we felt ripped off. First of all they let you pay your stay at arrival and they use their own exchange rate in kyat, so that in the end we payed 7% more than the price from booking. They mark all the prices in usd and in the end they make a very suspicous conversion. For a bike rental they charge you 10 usd for a day (in other places we payed 6 usd for a motorbike the whole day). The bike is in very bad condition, it is a kids size and the breaks don‘t work. If you need a taxi from the hotel to the main town they charge you 20 usd for one way. If you walk about 500m outside the hotel, you can get a taxi for 10 usd. For airport transfer they charge about 60 usd, we got a normal taxi for about 26 usd. The food is medicore and to expensive for what you get. It‘s so sad we had to leave this beautiful place with such a bad feeling of beeing scamed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent boutique resort with beautiful view of Inle lake. Attentive and very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location on the lake surrounded by greenery. Friendly and attentive staff. Spacious and comfortable villas (be sure to book a lake view, it’s spectacular). Complimentary mini bar (this helps when there’s nothing else around) Delicious breakfast spread.
Cons: The pay off for being in such stunning surroundings is that you aren’t able to walk into into town to sample other restaurants easily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Surpassed all expectations. Arriving by boat you turn off the main lake, pass through peaceful hydroponic tomato farms and then through a gorgeous private lily pond to a jetty where you are greeted by staff, a refreshing drink and chilled towels. Our villa overlooked the lake and although it was a little cloudy (end of rainy season) we still got to see the sunset from our private terrace. The villa was very spacious, very quiet, very romantic and relaxing. It even came with a very generous sized free mini bar! I wish we could have stayed a full week!
Cons: The food in the restaurant is decent and they have a large selection to suit most tastes, but overall less interesting (read: more westernised) than the local food available. Perfect if you can't be bothered to leave the resort, but there aren't any other dinner options within walking distance. On the second evening we found an excellent restaurant a short taxi ride down the road though which was one of the best meals on our trip!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing resort, so luxurious and amazing customer service. The villa we stayed in had fantastic views, the pool was lovely, the massage i has was one of the best ever. It was out of season so at one point we seemed to be the only guests so were really pampered! Peaceful, relaxing and surrounded by nature, just how we wanted to end our holiday.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bungalows are very stylish, spacious and come with stunning views. The surroundings (pool, garden, lakefront) are immaculately well maintained. Breakfast was outstanding. Hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful in every regard. I was a little reluctant before our stay because of some negative guest comments: “feeling trapped in a place where everything is charged for” “overstate exchange rate on payments”.. I cannot endorse those negative opinions. As per December 2019 the facts are as follows: + There is a free shuttle bus running 3 times in the afternoon/evening to and from the resort to the next town ..so if you want to dine-out..no problem just take the free shuttle. + Beverages in the mini bar and light snacks were free. There are complimentary fruits every day. + Prices in the restaurant are up-market..it’s a resort. We found 6 USD for a cocktails ( minus 25% during Happy Hour) a reasonable price for this place. + 10 USD for 2 people for a scenic 1 hour boat ride on the lake ...was well worth it. + One comment questioned the exchange rate applied on the bills. We payed the exact amount according to booking.com per credit card in USD (no surcharge for credit card payment on the room rate). On other other credit card payments they charge 3 percent..but you can always pay cash to avoid the surcharge. And the exchange rate they applied on payments in MMK was actually better than the market rate at the time of our stay. + The charge for the airport transfer was 48USD for 2 people (including a scenic boat ride to the hotel). If you find that to expensive you can take a taxi from the airport for 40.000 MMK. We stayed at the resort during Christmas holidays and we enjoyed every minute there !
Cons: If I would be in charge, I would probably upgrade the WIFE which is relatively week in the whole resort. We used our Ooredoo SIM cards which had at decent 4 G reception ...also in the bungalow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fabulous villa, amazing location, amazing staff. Overall a great experience. The restaurant is also very good.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms nice and spacious with a wardrobe. Coffee and tea supplied aswell as free water refills, as much as you wanted. Staff were pleasant. Nice breakfast which we could choose off the menu on day one but then it reverted to buffet style which wasn't as good. Nice pool and enough sunbeds, pool towels provided. Good location, about 5 mins walk to boat pier, restaurants around and 5-10 mins to main street.
Cons: Wouldn't let us have a late checkout despite offering to pay and them not being full. Though they did store our luggage and kindly let us use the pool and have a shower while we waited for the night bus.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They rent e bikes. Also you can book bus to other locations at the reception.

Pros: Great breakfast, clean and big room, friendly stuff. Nice area, quiet lane, close to many restaurants.

Pros: Big room, friendly staff, quiet location, free bike
Cons: Bathroom has some maintenance issues, same for the free bikes

Pros: Really lovely stay! Very fair price. We even messed up our booking and they didn't charge us twice which was nice. The room was huge, the bathroom was brilliant with hot water. There was a heater/air con. Really comfy beds. Great location near the pier so you can get cheap boats. Brilliant stay and would stay again!
7.0 Good
Pros: Fair price through booking.com
Cons: The bad location of the electric plugs in the huge room. The lack of chairs inside and outside of the room.

Pros: I like the property very much. Definitely recommend.
Cons: Food probably can be better.

Pros: We spent new years eve at the hotel - very nice. Its a great place to relax and enjoy the luxurious surroundings :-)

Pros: Charming property. Large rooms
Cons: 1) wi-if was very poor 2) buffet breakfast was below par - hardly any options
