Cons (-) The breakfast is not really a breakfast and there is no where to eat except your room. Might as well just have coffee and leave it at that. They need to have a laundry!! Very important for a motel.

Pros (+) Fantastic room for the money. It was a quick walk to restaurants and the pier. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros (+) Location was great. Within walking distance of "downtown" Monterey. Made it easy for me to walk to grab a bite to eat. Ample parking. Room was spacious. Free WiFi was a nice touch.
Cons (-) The building and decor were both so dated. The building screams 70s, and the decor was pretty much bad. The rooms were also pretty dark, and the window screens weren't secure, so I couldn't open the window to get fresh air without worrying about letting moths in.
