Our recent stay
The general facilities were well appointed...
The beds were sub-par. Did I get assigned my room 150 yards from the elevator because I booked via Kayak? Being a 74 y/o disabled vet made it very difficult for both myself and my 82 y/o arthritic wife. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy. When I walked 300 yards to and from the soda machine to buy one, it was HOT. And since I hadn't brought the ice bucket, I had to walk with great difficulty another 300 yards !!! Not what I would call a pleasant experience.....
No hassles.... Good value
Coffee and pastries down stairs for early departures
Unreliable shuttle service to airport
That we only had to stay one night. Breakfast. Comfortable bed. Playing spot the hotel brand waiting for the shuttle.
No hot water. Waiting for the shuttle bus for an hour. One did come after half an hour but it was full. We were told there was one following behind. Thirty minutes later the same bus returned. It is a complimentary shuttle so there is no obligation to provide the service we were told at checkin. It is claimed to go every 15 minutes but there is only one driver so when ot it busy and there is traffic the schedule is a work of fiction. Still while waiting we saw nearly all other hotel buses we could think of up to four times so we know which to choose nexf time. Oh..and when we checked in they offered to pay for the taxi ..had we taken one. A chocolate fire guard would have been more useful to us but for anyone reading thias that has to wait ..take a taxi!
Food at restaurant was barely passable. Worst coffee ever. No way to start your business day. Hotel old and tired, dated. Staff was friendly, attentive and did a great job. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
Not recommended for families, old building, they charge for everything
The Breakfast The Pool
Old Building They charge Parking 19 dollars per day + take/drop tips valet They charge for packages 4 dollar per package per day, even if the package arrives the same day you´re staying in the hotel They have 3 elevators, 2 of them were broken, they opened the service elevator and it was dirty and smelled bad The evacuated the building with a false fire alarm
Good not great
Location was great
Very disappointed with the TV in the room not working- I mentioned it to the front desk twice after I checked in and they said they would send somebody up to fix it and never did. also called housekeeping to send up some toothpaste and they never managed to show up. Overall clean room though, just minor inconveniences that can be upsetting.
Great location near the airport, shuttle service very convenient and very friendly. Great service in the check in /out , also in the restaurants. Good breakfast . Clean rooms , pretty view from the other side .
The only complaint is the room 853 is impossible to sleep. Very loud , maybe the air conditioner or something. Was a nightmare.
It was a great place to stay!
Perfect location for an early morning flight
We had a great meal. The atmosphere wasn't fancy but the food was good.
A better beer selection
The check in line was super long when we arrived so we went out to dinner. When we got back it was peaceful. Staff was nice. Decor was modern. Beds were soft. Room was quiet. Very nice stay. Needs free coffee in the lobby in the morning.
Could not get room service. No free internet No wake up call
