You guys at Kayak, Expedia and Hertz screwed up big time. While you showed us a confirmed reservation, upon arriving at the rental facility, Hertz staff informed us that they didn’t have any vehicles available for our rental and that Expedia and Kayak causes this issue frequently for them. We had a day planned in Portland but due to lack of rental car, we couldn’t do anything around town.

I searched for Portland airport and I was given a rental car 20 min off site from the airport, this caused massive problems. With getting it and dropping off. The customer service from hertz was THE WORST. I was struggling 3 or more times to call for various issues, it took more than 30 min plus to get a person on the phone each time and each time they were not helpful. My plane was delayed through no fault of my own obviously and they almost didn’t hold my rental agreement. When I asked to move the place of return (again another 30 min on hold ) I was going to be charged another $160. So even tho I got a deal through a third party, getting to and from cost me another $100 in Uber fees. Ridiculous and I have never used hertz and I won’t again

This was the worst rental car experience of my life. I would like a refund. I had an 11 AM pick up scheduled. It was 2 PM and my car was still not ready with no timeframe of how much longer I would have to wait finally I had to call an Uber to go back to the airport to go get a car with thrifty, the workers were as nice as can be expected but they said they had no cars. I offered to take any car that they had even though I had rented an SUV. I said it did not have to have gas Norby washed, but they said they still cannot accommodate I have probably rented 50 to 100 cars in my life including quite a few post Covid. and this was by far the experience

Terrible I spoke to them several times throughout the day before I showed up to get my rental car and I was told that first they didn't have the car that I was had originally rented and then they didn't have the second car that they said that they would have for me in place of the first one and then when I got down there they refused to accept my card that I had that I had told them several times during the day that I was going to be using and that I had held the reservation with so I ended up not getting in the car at the last minute and had to go find somewhere else to get a car and I'm very upset about it it all stemmed from the fact that they were closing at the time of my pickup and they didn't want to deal with me pretty much it was quite obvious how they felt

The car rental place - Dollar Rental - was closed. They modified their operating hours (I guess because of coronavirus?) so when I got there, it was already closed, even though I was on time to my reservation. I was stuck in the rain looking for another car rental place that was open. I had to take a Lyft there and rent a more expensive car. I spent $65 instead of $21. Please work better with your providers to update operating hours so that people can avoid this negative experience.

Even though they were very busy on a Sunday, they expedited people through relatively quickly and my car was had just got a fresh detail. Great attitudes. frim

We rented a convertible for a long trip and although we had nice time and enjoyed the top down experience, a roomier car may have been a better choice. No issues with Enterprise as they are my go to rental company for almost all my business and personal trips.

Overall we had a great experience. The car was excellent and we received great value for our rental dollar. The agency in Portland closes at 3:00 and we barely made it by that deadline. That may be the reason, but the customer service and professional attitude of the agency was lacking. I would still use Enterprise in Portland because overall the deal for a good car was a great value.

Sixt office is small in DTP, but the mighty duo Shawn and Nate were amazing. Quite a force they are, a little wait with good concerned service is all OK. Cars were limited so I got an expensive upgrade to a BMW X5, unnamed credit card but the experience of driving to the coast and mighty Columbia was all worth it.

At drop off I was automatically charged $184 for gas refill. My initial estimate for the rental was $129.00 for 2 days. $184 for a tank of gas? Had to make an extra stop to the customer service desk just to get it credited. What a waste of time to be a preferred member. Never again.

The line to pick up the car took about an hour & a half. The car smelled of cigarettes, had not been washed with bugs on the windshield, had crackers on the floor, dirt & dust on the dashboard and dry mud on the back of the front passenger seat. Clearly the car wasn’t serviced - we would have gone back to the counter but it was still a mob scene. Truly the worst rental car experience ever!

This place was a nightmare. I rented a CX-5 or similar compact SUV. When I showed up to pick it up, i had to wait 15 min while the lady at the counter took a personal call. Then she told me all they had was a suburban for me but she couldn’t find the keys. The guy with the keys was Mia, and his walkie talkie and phone were apparently at the counter After waiting a very long time, the girl at the counter finally told me to walk to the parking garage to meet the guy with the keys. When I got to the car, he was still cleaning it. He stopped cleaning, handed me the keys, told me not to worry about the warning lights or the broken visor, and then disappeared before I could ask any questions. I got in the car and realized it only had half a tank- not a big deal but they just handed me a half-full gas guzzling machine for my 6 hr drive to the pre-identified drop off destination. I had to get gas twice which was not Part of the budget. I dropped the car off the next day, 2 hrs early, with more than half a tank of gas left, was ushered out quickly and told I was good to go. Now I see I’ve been charged more than 2.5x the amount I agreed to pay and I have NO idea why. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
