7.0 Good
Pros: All was fine, as expected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hillside Inn really delivers value for the location near Killington. The rooms have recently been renovated and are clean and spacious, with a mini kitchen. The staff were very helpful and even kindly sent to us a jacket that we left in the room.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was clean and roomy.
Cons: The carpeting in the room was the worst. Like very cheap indoor/outdoor carpet. The bars of soap were so thin they fell to pieces when I opened the package.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable. We were unable to regulate the heat, room was very warm. There were 3 of us in the room, not one of us slept well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean unit.
Cons: Parking.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: The location and room was on point. But the beds are best described at planks of cement. And after a long day on the mountain ... some level of comfort is needed.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good and clean room with two big beds good for 4 people, fridge, microwave, table, TV everything was good in the room and bath.
Cons: The only thing that could have been better is the breakfast. It was barely minimum, i.e. serial, milk, coffee, tea, cup cakes, bread and orange juice. Waffle making machine was first days, then disappeared. Could have been yogurt, cheese, eggs, fruits.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Great location and it's beautiful
Cons: There were no fans in the bathroom to evacuate the air and my wife got bed bug bites on the second night. Would not recommend.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and close to the mountain
Cons: Nope
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great!!!
4.0 Okay
Pros: It was all that was available.
Cons: No way to control temperature in room. It was 60 outside and 75 in the room with zero airflow. Opening window let in cigarette smoke in from people sussing outside their room smoking.

Pros: The staff was very kind and professional. I injured my knee while skiing and I got all the help I needed, e.g. shuttle to the orthopedic clinic, returning my rented equipment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything
Cons: I didnt like that my vacation was over. Looking foward to 2020
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool, spa and breakfast buffet
Cons: High drink prices
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Outdoor heated pool and hot tub was a nice treat after a cold day of skiing. Included breakfast was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was amazing
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was OK.
Cons: Since the lounge was not available due to a fire and renovations, they should have taken some off the price of the stay. We were only informed of this the day we left for the resort. I was quite disappointed about this.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms were outdated and badly lit, needed lots more lighting and the couch and its super dark color green were very old looking
Cons: The bathroom was very small. Ski valet should be at the end of the bridge vs needing to walk 1000 ft to the lits with heavy gear as there is ample room for a ski valet at the end of the bridge by the slopes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are extremely clean and well kept. The staff is exceptional. I had a fabulous experience at the Grand Spa — massage, manicure and pedicure. Jelly and Kara were marvelous and very talented
Cons: There really weren’t any complaints
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great! Location was good-
Cons: We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite with another couple and one room was on the main floor and one was down a full flight of stairs(22) and we couldn’t carry our own luggage. I am handicapped right now with a cane, the other lady has a heart condition and both men are in their mid to late 70’s. While it was disappointing, the bell staff did offer to help. There was absolutely zero view of the beautiful mountain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is like going to Great Wolf Lodge but for Adults. Everything is here and you do not have to leave to get anything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to ski, friendly stuff.
Cons: Pool closes at 9:45, restaurant/bar at 11pm. Due to a recent fire, small sitting area. Nothing to do in the hotel afterwards. Too expensive for value received.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Priced right for location.
Cons: The window shades in room P11 didn't work. There was no way to shut out the light or get privacy.
7.1 Good
Pros: Heated pool was the best part. Very cheap room, no frills, but the pool would bring us back again. Hotel is super dated and seems to be falling apart, but great bargain for your money. We went for the heated pool, and enjoyed it fully.
Cons: Run down, old, dated, no frills. Weird decorations. And some weirder guests..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jacuzzi, swimming pool, kitchen island
Cons: sofa bed is too soft and not sturdy
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and warm outdoor pool. Minutes from the lifts and plenty of restaurants close by. Free shuttle services were nice as well. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: No hot tub (except in private suites) or bar/restaurant on location. Could use an updating in the near future.

Pros: The fireplace and bookshelf.
Cons: The tiny bathroom.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Surprise Wednesday's early evening they offered burgers and hot dogs poolside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool in winter is like a huge hot tub, I love skiing all day then soaking in the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this place and the set up here... the room has a kitchen and living room as well as a bedroom. Rooms are large and our family of four has plenty of space to relax. We eat our meals in our room since the kitchen has what I need to cook breakfasts and dinners. We like the storage closet in the lobby area for our snowboards. The property is close to the mountain and also near restaurants,, stores, etc. There's a fun game room and plenty of books and movies for guests to use. Staff is really friendly and very accomodating. It's our favorite place to stay in Killington!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly. Clean. Easy parking and accessibility.
6.2 Good
Pros: The pool is great all year long.
Cons: No continental breakfast and desk staff not that helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stay service and staff all excellent
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: when we checked in late (as scheduled) there was nobody there and a key was left on the counter with a paper with our name on it and our door left open. As two women checking in late with nobody in site other than 2 guys that had been out drinking that was a little unsettling. The room and hotel were very run down. I think it was rated 4.5 stars and very good..so I was very disappointed. Not sure where they get those ratings.. The first sign of staff was in the am but we didnt stay for breakfast as we wanted to get the heck out of there. I am not one to turn down a free breakfast but this was an exception..
Cons: already stated above..I did leave out that fact that there was a pair of dirty socks left under the bed. These were visable from the room so clearly it has not been cleaned properly. We thought it was an animal at first..
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably comfortable, friendly and clean.
Cons: The section we stayed in had no elevator. Does the newer wing?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and big! Great staffs! Really nice breakfast! Would definitely come again!!!
Cons: None.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: I normally stay in name brand hotels. Marriott /Crown Plaza etc. This place was pricey for a hotel that didn't have heat or air conditioning and it was old.

Cons: our bed was too soft and the plumbing is old
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location, the views and basically everything about it quite honestly. I came over from New York to join my friends in the band The County Down for an Irish jam and couldn’t be more pleased. The staff was beyond amazing!!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Summit Lodge is an older inn in Killington that is geared towards making your ski holiday a success. They offer a shuttle service to the base lodge. A wonderful hot breakfast buffet with several options to have a full breakfast. At the end of the day the Irish pub is a good place to unwind after a day of skiing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved it all! The staff is so kind and thoughtful. Great place!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the feel of this place! Lots of space to just hang out, huge stone fireplaces everywhere, lots of cozy nooks to snuggle up with a book, a fun bar, great pool, breakfast, etc!
Cons: The bathroom in our room could have used some updating. But we didn't mind, as it fit the overall homey nature of the place.
6.5 Good
Pros: Family friendly, good for kids. Pretty basic place, but has nice pool and hot tub, game room for the kids.
Cons: Hidden fees. Booked for 2 adults plus 2 children through bookings.com. At checkout, had to pay extra daily fee for the kids. They claim it was in fine print, though I have not been able to find it.

Pros: The breakfast was quite comprehensive, but serving time was staring at 7:30 quite late for those of use who wanted to be at the skiing slopes by 8:00 am
Cons: the common area was rather small. there was a fireplace that was only on 1 of the 3 nights we stayed there
8.0 Excellent
Pros: As good as it could get. All hotels in VT are overpriced, old and far from 5*. Staff is sweet and rooms are clean.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Place was great! It really felt like home! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Had a great bed and breakfast feel that we all loved !

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Good value for the price (NOT a luxury hotel). Convenient to everything on the access road.
Cons: The place is a bit run-down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the free breakfast. We’ve stayed here 2 years in a row now for snowboarding trips and we will definitely be back for a 3rd. The staff is wonderful, so pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast in the morning makes it all worth it. Some of the facilities are a little antiquated but I have no complaints for the price and the friendliness.
Cortina Inn & Resort - Killington - Building

7.3 Good (57 reviews)
AED 360+
Overview Reviews
Situated in the mountains, this hotel is 2 mi (3.2 km) from Pico Mountain at Killington Ski Resort and within 6 mi (10 km) of Pico Peak and Pico Pond. Little Pico and Gifford Woods State Park are also within 6 mi (10 km).
6.0 Good
Pros: The price is a great price. Nice staff. Always have coffee and tea available. The bar in the basement is convient.
Cons: If you have more than two people in a room you are charged an additional $20 a day per person which isn't disclosed until checkout. The hot tub looks like it needs cleaned out and the temperature needs adjusted.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location was decent but that's about it.
Cons: Run down appearance. Carpets threadbare in places. Pool looked murky and uninviting. Heat went off in the middle of the night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 2nd year in a row we've stayed here last minute and for under$100. breakfast had a wide variety that satiated most diet needs; not bad for a *free* breakfast.
Cons: nothing that i can think of
4.2 Okay
Pros: Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and all toiletries, including toothpaste, was provided.
Cons: AC does not work so room was incredibly hot all night. Although the fan works, it only blew room temperature air despite adjusting both the thermostat and unit setting to cool. Check in experience was poor; front desk was un-staffed. We called as instructed to request for assistance, but no one answered the phone- still had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to show up and check us in. Male staff member that checked us in was less than friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff super friendly and facilities were clean
Cons: hot tub and pool could use a little renovating
7.1 Good
Pros: Well it is an older hotel and had that musty smell. The pool was out of order due to a ceiling beam failure over the pool. We were disappointed, the indoor pool was a major draw for us staying during mid March. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than I had expected. Overall a decent stay but next time we'll stay close to Woodstock where there is more to do. If staying here though go to the sugar and spice restaurant down the road for lunch! It was amazing!
Cons: Smell Pool out of order. Far from Vermont (non-ski) attraction
10.0 Excellent
Pros: i used KAYAK to book an inexpensive (but not TOO much so), last-minute (hours before) room on our way up to ski. at the price level above bottom-tier, i braced myself for the worst. From the moment we pulled up (easy on the eyes),we experienced the most delightful staff, and the loveliest night's sleep, albeit, briefly. the vibe is homey, and relaxed; maybe it's the holiday season getting to me, but if allowed the time, it's ideal for a romantic (cozy) getaway. We woke up late, but the free breakfast spread was generous!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great, hot tub was being repared. Wi Fi coverage was good, altthough speed was a little slow.
Cons: TV had poor reception and not many channels (Dish TV)
5.7 Okay
Pros: The hotel was clean, the location convenient. Years ago it was beautiful. It's still adequate, but no better than a chain hotel. Very quiet, plenty of parking. Nice social spaces, although there were only 5 people in the whole hotel. Good low price on the room.
Cons: All of the few amenities were closed. No pool, no hot tub. Although the web site said they offered pub food for dinner there was no dinner service. Breakfast did not start until 7:30; not useful for a business visit. Great fireplace, but wasn't lit. Outside entry doors were convenient but were very drafty. Poor heat control; could not turn it down. There appeared to be no more than one staff person there. Furniture was mismatched.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The staff was super friendly and the open area for the kids and ability to mingle was great. There were cookies in the afternoon and the breakfast was good.
Cons: - we had a chimney fire which freaked us out but then the staff never said another word to us about it - we had a leak into our room from a rain storm but they moved us right away - there were several leaks in the roof where water was coming into the pool and no one did anything - pool was too cold and hot tub too hot (scalding at times) - 15 to 20 min drive to Killington K1 and other bases Would I stay again? Probably not, too many bad memories.

Pros: This hotel is exactly how it was described. The furniture and art is outdated but the room was very large and very clean. Everyone on the staff that I talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel at the base of the mountain within easy driving distance of all the local restaurants. The owner was excellent and really helpful. It was very clean. If we were to visit Killington again it would we would certainly rebook.
Cons: Only minor complaint was the coffee could have been a little stronger but I think that is a European thing :-)

Pros: This is an older property but it’s been very well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the room shows signs of ongoing upkeep (recently replaced carpet and paint). The owner is a great guy, very personable and someone who is a true innkeeper. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the decoration, the service, the breakfast.
Cons: The watersink was out of order and the tap water contains minerals that made it a little salty. My daughter refused to drink.

Cons: Everything was just fine. No negative points to comment.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were smaller than what we expected but appeared clean. I also liked that id was in the middle of all the action in Killington.
Cons: The guy that I spoke to, my friend spoke to, and the other person staying there all spoke to the same guy in the office who was very rude. Multiple times when I called and asked a question he would respond with a question back trying to make us feel dumb. For example I asked him if the double rooms were two rooms connected by a door and he says “what do you think it is”. I called again after trying to cancel our room because the event we were going to attend was canceled due to the corona virus outbreak and they wouldn’t cancel our reservations, which I can understand since they are a small business but at the same time we could have been carrying that illness and all they cared about was getting their money. After this I called back to make sure our reservation was still good after we tried to cancel it. I just wanted to make sure we knew where to check in so I asked him and he says “have you ever been to a motel before” and I say yes to which he says “well where do you usually check in at a motel” and before I can even say anything to him about being rude he says “stop asking so many unnecessary questions” and then hangs up. They have thick accents which is fine but to be hard to understand on top of being extremely rude and unprofessional was just a bit much for us. We will never be staying here again. Oh yeah and they claim to serve breakfast yet there was none when we went looking for it so I would say this place was a huge let down. It’s in a convenient location but the service was more than enough to make us never consider it again.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: First, this is a motel and not a hotel. If your expecting a hotel quality room at a motel price, then some of the previous reviews should be reconsidered. As a motel, and I have stayed in many across the country, this was the cleanest by far and the mattress was perfect. I honestly can't remember getting better sleep in 5 star hotel beds, but I don't like the super soft, big pillow types because of my neck and back issues. I also brought my own pillow as I always do. It also had a good size fridge, microwave and flat screen tv, which all worked. Room had plenty of clothing and storage space for such a small room. The free wifi actually had great strength, but you do have to step outside of the room to get a decent signal to call or text if you use Verizon. You would be hard pressed to find a better motel for $70 a night with free wifi and continental breakfast. Oh, the man and his wife that own and operate the place were very nice and freindly. Overall, this is my new go-to place to stay for value and location to the park.
Cons: The cons would be that they provide small soap but no shampoo; some outlets didn't good the plug in; and the lower caulking at the tub was turning black in some areas and needs replaced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very helpful, the room was clean and warm, and the location was within walking distance of restaurants.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location to mountain and restaurants. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: No continental breakfast, dated, no amenities
4.0 Okay
Pros: Inexpensive but would have rather spent a little more for a cleaner room.
Cons: The room may have been "Celen" but it felt dirty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay here! Can't wait to return!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value for location. Nothing spectacular, but great location for very reasonable price.
Cons: A little outdated.

Pros: I felt the most welcomed. Breakfast was delicious and on time, the room was just what we needed to rest after the whole day on the slopes. Super convenient location. Thank you Mike and Barb for making this trip so special!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mike and Barbara were very gracious hosts. The location is very peaceful but close enough to Killington for skiing and for evening dining. The breakfast was wonderful with great food and conversation.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts work hard to make this an enjoyable and welcoming place to stay. The breakfast is personalized and so delicious! Bed was comfortable and shared bathroom was clean.
Cons: The road leading to the property was soggy gravel, slippier than the ice and snow (nothing hosts can control, just a location detail that drops it down a notch). There was one small fridge on the entry porch for visitors that froze my salad and vegetables (I changed the setting, but too late). Nice that they had it, though. Note to visitors: No use of the kitchen facilities is allowed.
