Pros: Great breakfast and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re visit meets and exceeds expectations.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This truly felt like we got away. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We live near Austin and this was a great getaway. The place is very comfortable and very nice to stay at. I wasn't expecting this based on the pictures and they don't do it justice. Breakfast was delicious and just enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very calm environment. The visiting cat. Nicely decorated. Rocking chairs on the porch.
Cons: Our bathroom had not been cleaned before our arrival on Tues.. Human/pet hair was found in the sink, window sill and shower. Shower walls were dirty. Trash from previous guest was left in the water closet trash can. It was explained as an honest oversight due to vents being cleaned earlier in the day and it was cleaned when we returned to our room Wed night. Breakfast was a lovely idea, but we are early risers and waiting until 9:00 for breakfast delivery was a bit too long for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place, room spacious and having a kitchen area, everything lovely, very welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay and loved the town.
Cons: Breakfast was brought to your room, it was ok! didn't really like what felt like a pudding for breakfast e.g. apple pie for breakfast. and we got bitten really badly in just 10mins outside eating our breakfast.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The staff were super friendly, the porch cat is such a ham, he adopts anyone who pays attention to him. The room was super cute and rustic, the bed was comfy, they even supply locally made soap, shampoo, etc that smells absolutely fantastic (you can purchase them too!).
Cons: The breakfast was a little generic, but still tasted fine.

Pros: They upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. It was almost like we had our own little house. The bed was huge and comfortable. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Over all, I'd say it was a great experience.
Cons: The only complaint I have is the bathroom. It was a little small. The sink was practically over the toilet, which made it awkward to sit mdown and stand up. The bowl itself was also really small, which made it a little hard to wipe.

Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Bathtub shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We love the amenities and the location. It’s walking distance to Main Street.
7.1 Good
Pros: The outside scenery was pretty and the hotel smelled nicely when you walk in. The room was large in size.
Cons: There was no pool Or many amenities overall which didn’t bother me, they did not restock my coffee unfortunately in my room on my 2nd or 3rd night, the bed comforter was a polyester type fabric and outdated- not my preferred bedding overall. The hotel was okay and I definitely enjoyed my stay however it did appear to look a bit more updated & nicer online and the WiFi was not free since I booked it through a 3rd party which I did not like. The hotel could use a bit of updating especially to the rooms but it was a good value for sure and overall was pleasant. Parking was great! Service was not bad but I never spoke to anyone other than checking and checking out at the front desk.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The Inn was close to Main St. and the wine shuttle picked up from their lot.
Cons: The staff were so unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with. Considering check-in is so late I assumed they'd have a bag drop to hold luggage-- not only was that unavailable, they were less than willing to help suggest alternatives when I found out there was no place to drop it. The shuttle does pick up from the parking lot which is nice, however, they only run on Saturdays (which was not communicated to us when I called) and when I expressed disappointment they had to suggestions or taxi services to recommend. The room was large which was nice, but the beds were uncomfortable, and the AC unit quite loud. The parking was a nightmare during shuttle hours as well. Overall, I was hoping to get a quaint Inn experience but would have been better off booking at the hotel chains that were cheaper and closer to the actual wineries.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property is well maintained. Comfortable setting. Offers a nice breakfast and has a very nice eating/lounge area. There are nice areas to sit outside and enjoy pool/hot tub or just the sit by the creek and watch nature. We actually saw lightning bugs everywhere! Haven't seen those in long while. Was very pleased with our room and our stay.
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facility
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast was not the best. The coffee was good, however eggs and biscuts were not good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location by the creek was very peaceful. Have stayed here before and it’s our go to place in Fredericksburg Tx

Pros: The pool is nice and so is the breakfast. Too pricey for a Holiday Inn though. The location was ok but definitely not walking distance to Main Street. Nice pool depth for being able to walk around without getting your hair wet.

Pros: There was a mix up with our two night reservation which seemed easily fixed but did cause some anxiety. The efficiency with the fix was helpful. The room and bathroom were nice and clean.
Cons: The daytime manager was the one who corrected our problem which was good. However, she needs to remember that she presents the first impression of La Quinta to the visitor. Cons: The AC was not cooling properly in the room or the hotel itself. The next morning in the breakfast area it was hot as well, asked the desk clerk to turn up the ceiling fans. 9.0 Excellent

Pros: Very clean, great hotel for the Star-rating. Staff was very friendly
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast. Bed comfy. Liked the shutters instead of drapes. Management tries to please. Didn’t encounter bed bugs
Cons: AC could be more efficient in removing humidity from air!!! No carpeting makes room seem cold/echoey (not temperature wise).
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice location and staff was professional. Hotel was clean even though it was under construction
Cons: The AC in our room was set at 66 when we arrived, we were going to bed. We figured it would cool down but it never did. During the night we were all hot and miserable. We did not bother the desk durning the night but did address the issue in the morning. The hallway was 10-12 degrees cooler than our room. We were very surprised that we were not offered a reduced rate or something. We will not be staying there again

7.1 Good
Pros: Owner, Lauren, was very friendly.
Cons: Toilet didn’t work and shower is extremely small. Water pressure/temp inconsistent and room decor is dated.
7.0 Good
Pros: We have stayed at the Kitzmiller several times. This time was the least enjoyable. We love that it is on Main, close to everything and usually a reliable experience. I like that the furnishings are a bit retro, room is clean and hotel quiet.
Cons: We stayed in a room near the ice machine and it was well used early in the morning and loud! We wanted to sleep in but could not near it. Additionally, motorcyclist riding Harleys felt free to pull up right next to our door. They were not considerate.
6.0 Good
Pros: This is a motel not a hotel. You drive up to the door. The room was updated, clean and a very comfortable bed. The room is small and good enough to sleep in. Out our back window was a bbq unit that was unattractive. The area is expensive on the weekends.
Cons: I the name hotel is misleading. It is a motel
7.9 Good
Pros: Floors need to be mopped more regular
Cons: Very nice staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is like stepping back in time but very comfortable, has everything you need. Memory foam mattress was so comfortable. We would stay here again.not fancy but met our needs.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Beds are not very comfortable
7.0 Good
Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Old construction in need of an update - clean but with very thin walls, so you could hear everything going on outside your room (for example, when the bars closed at 2a and a big group of people arrived)
7.5 Good
Pros: Price of the room. Convenient to town.
Cons: Needs updating. Dead cow rug wasnt my style. AC didnt cool down a lot - it was ok - was also loud.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfortable! The staff was very friendly plus dog friendly! Great price and great location! We would definitely recommend to anyone!
Cons: Very cute! Old but it gave it its charm.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Sunday House Inn and Suites in Fredericksburg, you'll be in a shopping district, within a 5-minute drive of Fredericksburg Winery and Whistle Pik Galleries. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Big rooms. Convenient location.
Cons: Air conditioner did not work in June in Texas. Bad news!!! Never got cooler than 77 with thermostat set at 65. After trying to sleep in a warm stuffy room, they turned off the water in the morning for 30 minutes for some repair. I think the motel has outlived its facilities. Summer in Texas is way too hot to do without air conditioning. When I notified the front desk , they told me "just wait, it will get cooler". It didn't. Very disappointed.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Remodeled very nice. Downtown. Walk to shopping. Very clean. Nice staff
Cons: Little pricey. But not bad for the location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot on Main Street Fredericksbug. Walk to darn near everything. Staff was great, asked for quiet room on ground floor and got one - 111 - and parked right in front of room. Older hotel (I stayed in it about 35 years ago) but adequately updated and comfortable beds. Hospitality coffee is good but breakfast is best found elsewhere.
Cons: Forgot to ask that they not put 4 kids in the room directly above. Coffee maker didn't work and spewed hot water all over.
6.5 Good
Pros: Heated pool Fantastic location continental breakfast very quite
Cons: Housekeeping - dirty band aid in bathroom! Liquid meds found in frig, glad our son didn't find it!
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is really good and within walking distance to everything on Main Street.
Cons: We arrived for breakfast at 9:00 am and there wasn't much food left. It was a continental breakfast with a waffle maker to cook your own. The waffle batter was empty and there were no staff members available or maintaining the area as guests came in and depleted the food. We ended up leaving without eating because there wasn't anything left by 9:00 am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy, clean and in a great location

Pros: Great breakfast. Room was exceptionally clean.
Cons: The pool area was right next to parking lot. No privacy between the two.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location and clean
Cons: The only problem we had was with the handicap shower. There was only the shower curtain that kept the water from going on to the bathroom floor. So, lots of water splashed on the floor and we needed to use several towels to wipe up the water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast on Friday was so so, but Saturday was good. Pool was great.
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and breakfast
Cons: Could hear the television playing in room next to us until around 1:00 in morning. We put earplugs in and had fan noise playing on our phones but it was still too loud to sleep
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good
6.7 Good
Pros: Located conveniently close to Main St, shopping, and food, but not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Quiet at night! It was clean and staff was friendly.
Cons: AC in the room was really noisy. Toilet seat wasn't attached very well to the toilet. They were doing some work in the rooms near us, and that was noisy in the mornings.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: At least the pool was open 24 hours and clean and the breakfast was good to a certain extent
Cons: First we got to the room the refrigerator was warm we put our things in their turn the refrigerator on went to the pool came back an hour later it smells so bad like burnt wire our food was ruined we called to the desk he told me to come down and get the key to move to another room so we did nobody checked on the room until the next morning when the maids came we were not offered any comp we are not offered any help nothing even our clothes were smelling like burnt wire and with friendliness I know most people do friendliness with a smile these people sure don't breakfast if you like eggs fine you like waffles fine overall I had asked two weeks ahead of time as I was in an aircast to be put on the first floor instead I was put on the second floor continually have to walk to get to the main floor bottom line very very will not return

7.1 Good
Cons: The shower curtain was mounted such that any water that hits the curtain ends up on the floor. We had to mop up a lot of water, using most of the towels, after every shower. There was only one small trash can under the wet bar and none in the bathroom. One table lamp had a bad fluorescent bulb in it. The TV remote control's battery compartment hatch was broken, such that the batteries had to be manually held in place to use it. Why should a guest have to repeatedly call the front desk to report things that are broken or missing from the room? Why isn't all of that tended to prior to the guest's arrival? And lastly, they're using those cheap, daylight colored complact fluorescent bulbs in every lamp throughout the entire room and in the ceiling fixtures. I don't have a problem with CFLs as long as their color temperature is warm. I felt like I was sleeping at a bus stop.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: we like the pool ...all the staff was so friendly
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: I was in 125 which is across from house keeping, constantly opening and closing doors. The second and third floors are laid out the same. The noise that was most irritating radiated down from the second floor house keeping ended at 6pm and started up at 0430. At first I thought it was a construction project. Constant moving of hampers on rollers plus other noises
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed here several times and it's a great location, free breakfast and the staff is very friendly. The rooms we have stayed in (low 2s and 3s) are all very large and comfortable.
Cons: Make sure you stay on the top (3rd) floor in the back. The floors are less than soundproof and if you're on 1 or 2, you will hear the folks above you. The front rooms have balconies, but overlook the street and tend to be noisier. The only elevator is pretty slow so if this is critical for you, it might not be the best spot.
7.5 Good
Pros: I thought Hamptons would be the same but no! Very nice hotel and breakfast. The room was nice and the bath was roomy and big shower. Plenty of seating but no drawers for clothing. I wouldnt want to stay more than a couple days and have to have everything in my suitcase. Pool LOOKS so pretty but its only 3 feet .. Feels like swimming in a kiddie pool. The pretty bridges are only pretty on the top side but underneath full of mold and grime. The staff was super and went out of their way if you needed anything. Location is great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice Hotel. We left some things behind and the staff is sending them to us. Thank You.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Pool and big rooms
Cons: The curtains could not be closed all the way so we could not make the room dark when we wanted to take a nap.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: I paid through booking.com. They charged my card $500 and $70. They said it would drop off but now I have to deal with that myself. The pipes were banging in the walls day and night. The lady at the front desk said it was pipes. Extremely annoying
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast needed Bacon, scrambled eggs , real orange juice
Cons: The breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was delicious, swimming pool was fun, and employees were courteous.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very outdated
Cons: Very outdated bathroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Nice helpful staff.
Cons: I was charged $58 for incidentals prior to my stay (my nightly charge was only $157, so close to 40%). It’s supposed to be refunded but it has not. Only one other hotel during our trip (out of 4) charged this and it was refunded the next day.

Pros: How convenient it was to everything.
Cons: Some staff members were not very helpful. When we arrived the staff member was very nice and polite. The last night there , we had an incident when someone barged into our room. Pros: Ok. very little choices. no eggs (well except for boiled eggs). toast and pastries.

6.3 Good
Pros: We really did enjoy ourselves. It was convenient for what we went for. The staff when we arrived was very nice and polite. She was very helpful.
